I like the company Sawtooth; they were very professional in approaching me. I called, they gave me an appointment, and they came and checked my roof and checked my options. They were good at communicating and I liked the warranty they offered and the materials offered. The price was very good in comparison to other companies. The experience was excellent. The workers were skilled and communicated to me every day any changes. There was one minor damage and they took care of it and did not charge me for it. It was a very pleasing experience. My vents were not enough to flow the air, after changing and putting in five extra vents and bigger vents, the roof is now cooler and my upper floor is cooler now too. They recommended to me the additional vents. I am so happy I chose Sawtooth Roofing.

Sawtooth did a fabulous job reroofing our house! It was a complete tear-off and replacement. From Darrin's initial visit, through tweaking the quote, and the job itself, communication was top-notch. Pricing of the project was very reasonable; I think it was the second-lowest quote we got, but Sawtooth's materials and warranty were better. Jose and his crew did a great job. During the job, every day's end-of-day cleanup was great. The end result looks beautiful, and we're very happy with the way everything went. The high end materials and awesome warranty also add to the satisfaction of a job well done.
One hiccup: 2 fascia boards with some minor dry-rot at their ends were supposed to be replaced before the installation of new gutters (new gutters were part of the project). Somehow that fell through the cracks, and the gutters went up over the 2 boards. Darrin quickly took ownership of the issue, and did a great job of repairing/rebuilding the corner where the problem was. Very satisfied with the response to the issue!
Suggestion to Sawtooth: if new gutters are in the project, they need to be included in the project scope all the way to the end. That includes final inspection and invoicing. The QA inspection by Nick should have been done AFTER the gutters were installed, not before. The inspection should include both the roof and the gutters, not just the roof. The final invoice should be emailed AFTER the gutters are installed, and all issues are settled.

The quality wasn’t as advertised. There are footprints in shingles and they had to return to replace them. Some of my siding was damaged and they didn’t say anything. They placed caulking on it to cover it and then said we don’t do siding, therefore it’s not their responsibility per Tom Solan. Pretty shady move on their part. No effort to come out and inspect it after I sent video and pictures, just a statement “It’s in the contract”. Overall pretty disappointed on the follow up care.

The gentleman who was helping with the sun tunnels was quick and working on a full work load while prioritizing this as well. There were hard times of communication on both sides, but was very proffessional in working through it.
