My assigned technician was really difficult to get in touch with, and he ghosted me. We eventually had to fire him and get another water reclamation company in.

Prompt next day service

Professional, tidy,

Prompt service, excellent communication and execution of cleanup

Rytech did an asbestos abatement in my family room after a laundry tub in an adjacent room overflowed. They came at the agreed upon time, called beforehand to let me know they were on the way, were very pleasant and professional, and answered all my questions. In other words, they were great!

The crew made terrible drywall cuts, they left corner bead fragments with drywall, they ripped off a door and took it (without telling me), they didn’t remove screws. And they had to be asked to return to my home to clean up the floor of my basement. My drywall guys lost an entire day removing screws and making unnecessary cuts. The drywall should have been cut the size of a full sheet. I was very disappointed and voiced my concerns to my insurance company.

The guys who came here were very nice. I feel that the communication from the office could have been more informative at times.

They made a difficult situation more bearable.

Rytech is located too far away.

I appreciate the patient and caring workers who came to my home.

They were professional, courteous and prompt.

Efficient and effective.

Professional

I felt like they were a good company, but the person who ran the job didn't communicate as properly as they could've in regards to the job and when it would start and end. I think the guys can do a better job communicating with the owners. The owners let us know what was going on with emails.

The staff personnel were courteous and polite. They explained specifically what they were going to do.

The Rytech service team was outstanding—they handled my demolition issue quickly and with great care. I especially appreciated their consistent communication and regular updates on the progress in my home. I highly recommend Rytech for any home restoration needs.

Rytech came in after another company didn’t finish the job. They were more professional and did a much better job at a lower cost!

I feel like Rytech comes out and gets paid so much money to do nothing, but they tell us what went wrong. We already know what's wrong, and they just brought the dryers out to dry the floor. They took a little piece of our ceiling off for the asbestos, but that's it. I just think it's very costly.

Attentive prompt service. Good communication and solutions.

Waste materials were left in the basement of the house and not disposed of properly.

The workiers from Rytech were prompt, courteous and competent.

The employees that came out were easy to work with and was very accommodating

fast service knowledgeable friendly

Very clear with explanations. Answered all our stupid questions. Kept affected areas clean.

Very professional and kept me posted on what was being done.

See suggestion in question 8 of this survey.

Very professional and punctual

Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional

All of the employees were friendly, courteous and respectful of my time. My only concern was that I was told that certain things needed to be addressed to make sure there is no formation of mold but then they weren’t all done. I was also told that once insulation gets wet, it needs to be removed. I certainly didn’t want more done than what was needed but I wanted confirmation that not opening certain walls was acceptable.

My floors were ripped up down to the original wood not knowing if Allstate would replace my floors

Great communication, very effective and efficient.

They were very efficient and worked according to schedule. What I was promised was delivered, and they did what they said they would do.

They have really helpful staff, and they got the job done very quickly. They were very responsive and helpful.

Conducted themselves professionally. Respected our home and it s furnishing. Explained what they were planning to do and how long it would take.

Called prior to arrival. Checked the progress every day. Answered all questions as I had them. Cleaned up and took all damaged items from water damage and disposed of them for me. All kind and compassionate staff.

The only reason the rating is a 3 is because of the customer service. Where to begin? I spoke to the person who scheduled the appointment. I was very clear and adamant about ensuring my household items would be moved out of the house before demo (no brainier). I was told on 3 different occasions they would move my furniture before the demo. I called the day before because we had weeks of rain. I asked if they would be ordering a pod? No, we don't order those! Well where are you moving my personal furniture? Outside in my driveway when its been raining and sitting in the elements? I should had known then not to use this company. I rescheduled and ordered a U-Haul U store it. The workers show up the next day and demo be just shifted my furniture from one side of the room to the other. What sense does that make??? My electronics, washer, dryer, fridge, pictures and furniture covered in demo debris. I had to ask them to set up plastic barrier to the rest of the house while the fans were blowing debris around. They through some tape up and plastic that just fell down that same night.

They were very respectful and really good at their job. They know what they are doing.

They were very helpful, accommodating, cleaned up after themselves, and worked very well. We were very happy with how they dealt with the whole situation.

Very professional company

Professional, friendly, on time

Technician explain the step-by-step of what he was planning to do to assess the issue.

Rytech Restoration was quick, responsive, and knew what they were doing. It was easy to understand how everything works, and they delivered in rapid time!

The work that was done was timely and thorough. How it unfolded left me dissatisfied. New tenants were due to move their furnishings into my rental property on a Monday. They had already access to it, and stopped by 2 days before on a Saturday morning, to find several inches of water in the basement. When they told me, I was panicked, thinking a pipe had burst that frigid winter. It runed out the water had come from a burst pipe 3 houses up, that the Water Department fixed promptly. My basement was not the source of the problem. The basement was not finished, had parged stone walls and concrete floors, and a total of 3 pieces of 2x4's as a base for the stairs... the only wood touching the floor. By the time the tech arrived I had pumped out almost all of the water, with some puddling remaining. In my panicked state, it would have helped to have a calm voice talking me through options and associated costs. I did not get that. The tech politely and professionally brought in gear (fans and dehumidifiers), and began the process. I left, and left it up to the tech. I now no longer knew how long it would take, nor how much money it would cost, nor what options I had. It retrospect I could have done the job myself, but wasn't thinking straight. The job took a few days, at a cost per day I didn't know. When I got the bill, I was left wondering if I had really needed them at all, or if I did, must it really have taken that many days? Perhaps everything was just what I needed, and would be confident about that if someone had coached me through it, gave me options, and helped me make a better informed decision. I may very well have gone with their exact plan... I just don.t know. I suggest they consider doing some 'hand holding' at the start of a job. They may or may not get the particular job, but they would have had a more satisfied client with me.
