Ralph and his team did an amazing job with my home. Treated me like family and talked me through everything.. being a female having a bunch of random men in the house can be nerve wracking but those guys were great, very polite and made me feel safe and comfortable and even had a chat about my old cars lol hopefully I won't have to go through this again but if I do I won't call anyone else!!
My insurance company contacted Rytech the day I had flooding and they came immediately to assess and returned to work on drying as soon as insurance approved.

The only reason my likeliness to recommend Rytech to a friend is 1-star is because I don't know anything about when someone would need Rytech to bring their instruments in to provide the service that they would need.
I reached out to Rytech, and they were quick to respond. They did an assessment, quickly returned a call back to me to let me know what the damage was and the expected cost of what needed to be completed. They came back, did the necessary work that was required, kept me updated at that point, completed the task, sent me a bill, and I paid them. Everything was really perfect! I never had to lay eyes on the property itself or any of the workers. The tenants were pleased with the progress as well.

Communication has been horrible. I had to ask repeatedly to have explanation of the work done. A final walk through the as not done. My vanity as damaged. I was told I would be compensated. As if 2/14/26, I have not received my compensation.
Everyone from Rytech were very helpful and explained the process in detail. I would highly recommend Rytech for the job.

The techs were professional, friendly and informative. I didn't have issues interacting with them when they came to check the moisture levels and give updates. However, when they did the initial tear out of the water damaged areas they messed up our water purifier (Rytech sent their plumber out and fixed it, so that was handled adequately), there is a crack in our countertop that was removed and placed to the side, and the facing of our oven and handle on the oven door are damaged from the way they moved it. The fans ran for 4 weeks. We were told they would "tent" the area to speed up the drying process and that was never done. We have a family member who works in this industry who said that should have been done almost immediately and 4 weeks was way too long for the drying process without trying something different. After the ice storm weekend, we understood not hearing from a tech during the Saturday to Tuesday most everything was shut down, but that Wed - Fri after roads had cleared up we still didn't hear from anyone until I contacted a tech to find out if we could turn the fans off. Someone came out that day and took readings and left the fans on. They stayed on over another weekend and were removed the next Monday. Bottom line: The people were good to work with and the work they came to do got done, but it took longer than it should have and we incurred property damage along the way.
Rytex started out very attentive and took care of water damage, but after that, it was harder to reach and they disappeared for a while and every time I left a message, I couldn’t reach the person I had talked to to begin with
I started with a contractor, but there were certain things that insurance told me that Rite Aid was supposed to be taken care of and they left things undone. I had to search for that to be done myself.

This was my second time using this company for water mitigation. They did a thorough job.
They were very polite. They were very prompt. They were very quiet as they were working in the basement. I did not hear them but more than that. They cleaned up everything and did not leave a mess.

Michael & Pavel were fantastic to work with and early on in the process of recovery from the emergency they were a tremendous source of calm and were one of the only ones who kept consistent communication helping me understand how the process would play out.
I feel like Rytech comes out and gets paid so much money to do nothing, but they tell us what went wrong. We already know what's wrong, and they just brought the dryers out to dry the floor. They took a little piece of our ceiling off for the asbestos, but that's it. I just think it's very costly.
I was not informed at the beginning that Rytech does not handle rebuilds. I only learned this after specifically asking about the rebuild process.
Additionally, I did not receive any report or documentation after the mitigation work was completed.
I also emailed Milton Vega, whose business card I was given, to ask about the rebuild process, but I never received a response. Because of this lack of information, I had to make multiple calls to Rytech. Even during those calls, I was not clearly told that Rytech of Orange County does not perform rebuild services, which caused unnecessary delays and repeated follow-ups on my end.
Rytech corporate should have been aware that the local office does not handle rebuilds and should have communicated this clearly from the start. Instead, it felt like messages were only being relayed without providing clear or complete information to me as the customer.
This experience caused confusion, wasted time, and frustration, and I believe clearer upfront communication and proper follow-up would have avoided these issues.

While your employees were in my home, I experienced a theft of my jewelry. I made a report to the SAPD and to USAA. Theft included 1 jade ring in a very unique setting, 1 pearl ring, 1 onyx ring, 1 garnet with diamonds, and my diamond engagement. I know one of your employees took these items because I wore the diamond and jade rings on Sunday, December 21. On Monday, December 22, Rytech employees began working in my home. They were the only visitors to my home from December 22 to December 24. On the evening of December 24, I looked for my jewelry to wear to Christmas eve service and found all of the rings missing. I know one of your employees took my jewelry because they were the only people outside of myself that were in my home.
