From the beginning, contacting Rytech was a pleasure; they handled everything swiftly, and professionally and kept me up to date.

I wrote a detailed account of our experiences with Rytech Orange County after the project finished in May 2026 but didn't post it. I would have parsed that out and pasted the relevant comments under each category below, but once I saw that the email Rytech sent asking for feedback was set up for positive comments (in green) to be posted to Google, while negative comments (in red) went to this internal system, most likely not to be seen by the public, I was reminded about our horrendous experience. The Google comments do not include the names of the contacts so I'm including them here.

Rytech was fine, but I have no one to compare them to. They were responsive and didn't try to upsell, which I appreciated.

The right hand didn't seem to know what the left hand was doing. A lot of noncommunication between crews and with us.

It seemed like you had a different team every day, and there was no coordination between the teams. I gave very specific instructions at the beginning and they were not followed.

Rytech did an asbestos abatement in my family room after a laundry tub in an adjacent room overflowed. They came at the agreed upon time, called beforehand to let me know they were on the way, were very pleasant and professional, and answered all my questions. In other words, they were great!

The crew made terrible drywall cuts, they left corner bead fragments with drywall, they ripped off a door and took it (without telling me), they didn’t remove screws. And they had to be asked to return to my home to clean up the floor of my basement. My drywall guys lost an entire day removing screws and making unnecessary cuts. The drywall should have been cut the size of a full sheet. I was very disappointed and voiced my concerns to my insurance company.
