Natalie has been very helpful over the last 2 years. This has been a long time coming and she has always answered any of our questions and scheduled phone calls to discuss things in more detail. Natalie is very knowledgeable and has a lot of patience because we have had a lot of questions and have changed our minds several times. Well. Cody Stalls. Who was are builder. Was absolute awesome. Couldn’t ask for a better builder professional. And he uses common sense. Which is hard to find now days. They gave him me which I was at the build sight just about everyday to wach the build. And I’m sure that’s not easy to be scrutinized every day.
When we started the build, he said he was gonna treat it like it was his own house and he did with a builder like Cody Stalls you have no worries. He works for Red Door. He treats it like it’s his own house being built. He takes personal care in it and I want to thank him and Red Door for doing such a great job.

The project is moving very quickly but Joe's communication has been great and the work has been of very good quality.

I have recommended, and as a matter of fact, somebody signed the paperwork based off my recommendations to purchase a home

This is a short response to a very long answer. Overall, I am disappointed in the timeline of our build and lack of communication about hold-ups that we may have been able to resolve much more quickly. We signed our agreement and left our deposit check at the end of May 2025. At our meeting to discuss the build with the GC in September 2025, March 2, 2026 was the projected completion. I realize that was an unlikely completion date and several challenges arose for the Red Door team that were out of their control. However, the lack of communication regarding what was slowing the process left weeks and months with no activity and no understanding of why. Our latest completion date (following communication of mid- April, mid-June and August 10th) is now mid-August - over 6 months behind. We fully understand that things happen, but believe we have been extremely patient considering the circumstances and now need the building completed so family with medical needs can still move in when we planned early in 2026 based on the timelines from Red Door.

Molly has been my go to person at the office and she is absolutely amazing. Very helpful and such a joy to work with. Chris is our builder and he has made sure to keep us updated on everything going on every step of the way. So far this has been an amazing experience and I could not have asked for any better people to work with.

I would recommend Red Door Homes to myself for building my second home . The entire staff was awesome. My builder was Joe whom I would request for my next home he was very informative and he replied to all of my texts and emails and answered or returned my phone calls.

Additional Communication - We just want this process to move forward we have been working with red door for months and have just been stagnant. Every is either on vacation or doesn’t answer our calls. Our sales rep actually told us that she had been hanging up on my phone calls assuming I was spam for over a week. Pretty annoyed.

The entire team at the Raeford branch were extremely friendly, helpful, and transparent throughout the process. The GC Caleb sessoms was absolutely fantastic. Down to earth, knowledgeable, and put up gracefully with all our questions and concerns throughout the process as the first time home builders. Could not recommend them more as a team. Any issues in complaints that I had concerning the trades work, kaleb had already noticed it was in the process of having fixed.
