Work took longer than anticipated, communication issues, left nails in yard (child injured by it)
They are perfectly competent to do quality work. They don't have any supervisor oversight of the job. I told them no to put screws through my copper flashing and they did. It essentially ruined it in certain areas. They came back and fixed it. It will protect it at this point. I had a detailed discussion for they did the work. He said they had a couple places to touch up with solder. I couldn't communicate with them. There was no supervisor onsite to tell them to stop what they were doing. They ran leg screws through the copper flashing. It was completely unnecessary and damaged the flashing. I am not satisfied at all with their work. They did send someone out. There was miscommunication. They sent a whole bunch of Hispanics to do the job. They rushed and got it done in one day. I would be more than happy to talk to them if they want to call me.
They did a nice job, were efficient, and timely.
Gary and his team always communicated in detail work to be completed ...progress of work and final inspection feedback. I find the Office personnel very helpful and courteous. Work on an 108 y/o house needs experts . They do it!
Fixed my issue the first time
The team was very focused and did a good job with our roof replacement.
I was going to put my house up for sale, which I did. I called their company and told them I had a leak coming through one of the beams, and I did not know where the leak was coming from, and needed it fixed before I sold my home. I waited quite a while for them to come out. They gave me an estimate to fix it, said there were damaged shingles, and they would have to take out the flashings. It was a deck with a roof on it that was only two years old. After they left, we had another rainstorm, and it started leaking again. They came back out, and I told them it was still leaking and showed them pictures of how the water was running down the beam. They sent someone else out to look at it, and they said I needed more work done with more shingles over the sides so the water would be guided into the gutter system. They said it would be another $2,200. What they did the first time did not work, and they got me a better price of $1,600. It leaked again in the next rain. They sent out quality control, and I told them that the guy got tar on my deck the first time. The quality control guy cleaned the tar, and it made white spots on the boards. When they came back out, I told them not to use that cleaner on anyone else's deck. He said he would fix it or give me a discount. The second guy said the first guy did not know what they were doing and said they should have had him come out. After it rained again, I called the guy, and he said they would do a water test on it. I finally called the guy who installed the deck, and he is the one who fixed the problem, and it had nothing to do with the roof. I thought Ray St. Clair Roofing was supposed to be good.
Knowledgeable, friendly staff, great communication for work timeline, good results with quick turnaround
Ray St. Clair Roofing did shotty work, in shotty time, and had shotty customer service.
Need to work on communication skills.
Immediate quote the day they came out (some competitors took a week or more). Competitive pricing. Liked having a contact for quality inspection. When we identified issues, they were fixed quickly without any hassle.
I loved having someone I trust to call about house repair work. You all do excellent work and have the best people working there. I will recommend you to everyone!
Excellent all the way around!
We had very bad leakage from chimney/roof. In icy conditions, the representative came to determine problem. From initial contact to completion, we were kept informed of each step. We were pleased with the professional manner our job was handled.
My contract consisted of multiple types of issues that needed repair. In the creation of the contract, one issue was left off the contract, and I signed it before I noticed it. I uncovered this issue well into the work phase, and RSCR did the repair anyway. I also had a few loose shutters on the second floor that the crew offered to fix while they were up there. The rest of the work was done quickly and expertly. The results were good looking. The crews were easy to talk to and were concerned about my satisfaction.
Very professional. Excellent work
freindly and kept us informed what what/when they were doing
They did a great job.
Overall, a great job after final inspection found areas in need of attention.
They do quality work.
They did a good job when they replaced our roof 30 years ago, so we used them again when our roof needed to be replaced.
Their techincal work was excellent. Their approach to doing business is not good.
The finished product (new roof) looks great and their price was competitive
The service was great. They are hard to reach with scheduling. They will call you when they call you, so there is a little bit of downtime there.
It took a very long time to get anyone out there and to respond to my phone calls. But once they got there, the gentleman that came was phenomenal.
