They were amazing. Very professional and great at communicating with me.
They were really good installing it. It took two full months to get the batteries online and I still haven't gotten compensation for that.
It was a fast service and turnaround. They were recommended to me by a friend, and I would definitely recommend them as well.
Communication was poor, and I had to pay on my loan for three months before it was even installed. I had to wait two months for them to come back and fix what failed on the inspection. The first 15 days, I was told it didn't go into the power grid. Once I called back about still having a power bill after the second month, they said they were able to change something in the settings. I'm still waiting to hear about that.
Pro-Stat Electric & Solar needs to communicate better.
Start to finish our project went very smooth for the 2nd project in a row.
Working with Prostat was straightforward and refreshing compared to the other installers I received bids from. No sales pitch, just a simple explanation of the product, cost and warranty. Every step of the process was completed on or ahead of schedule and as they are a small, local company, I was able to call the office directly and immediately get to the people familiar with my project to answer questions.
I appreciated that the salesman kept his word, and seemed to be concerned with saving me money. I thought that was nice. They seemed to keep their word about doing things. The most important thing was there was a problem with the power company, and they went out of their way to fix the problem to keep me from buying a new transformer from the power company which would have been very expensive.
Nothing that I can think of.

The process was longer and more complicated than necessary. Also the communication in the beginning wasn't ideal. The original project manager left the company and my job fell through the cracks. It wasn't until I contacted the company months later that I was informed the project manger was no longer with the company. Then the office manager left the company and the poor lady that was inserted into the role was a little over whelmed. Finally, when we were waiting on the permits, I would call each week to find out if there were any updates. I was told Dale the permits person would let me know when they were in. After weeks of hearing this I called the city and received the following email response.
"Good morning Aqeel,
The permit was issued by Forest Grove on 2/25/2025 and they would have sent the notification to ProStat. For your reference, the permit number is 197-25-000046-STR.
Thank you,
The permit was approved weeks before and Prostat dropped the ball again. Once I gave Prostat the permit number things picked up but why did I to tell the contractor what's going on?
The installation process was a much better. It only took a few weeks until we have panels installed and power on.
Probably not. When I finally got a call to schedule an install day I was 3 hours from telling them I will find another company to install the solar on our place.
Lots of folks involved, and considerable paperwork, several inspections but it all seem to come together with minimal effort on my part. I thought the project cost was reasonable compare with others I have seen. I definitely will recommend Pro-Stat to anyone who is interested in going solar.
Pretty good experience. Solar panel installation in 2021 worked very well. Battery backup system has hit a few snags, but the Pro-Stat Tech Rick and customer service person Beckie have been very helpful in sorting out operational issues. Keeping my fingers crossed that the issues have been permanently fixed.
Although it takes quite a while to get all permits and solar activated, Pro-Stat was always communicating status and installation was very professional. I still have not been able to use my solar due to PGE meter swap going on week 3 now but that is not a Pro-Stat function. I cannot comment just yet how the system works.
ProStat's whole team were great to work with. I think that was one of the greatest things that impressed me.... the whole team was determined to make my solar project work. Everyone worked together to make our project happen. Thank You all
I think I would. I have had some problems with my system.
There was no communication and slow response. We were expecting to have the installation before the end of the year, and we started this in August of last year, and now we've got to wait the year for our tax credits. There was no communication at all. They were supposed to follow up with us after the installation was completed. We haven't heard from them since.
The problem I had was mostly with their salesman, Matt McCann, the past office staff and the engineer that came out. They promised a lot of stuff that they could not do and had to move stuff around.
Everyone was professional and friendly. Customer service in most businesses is quite questionable. Pro-Stat was just the opposite.
The customer service has been good, but the install has been delayed several times. We are not happy with the length of time it has taken to get our system up and running because it has now taken 6 months.
Their support number does not work. I emailed customer support on several occasions and only received one email back from Becky. She gave me her best knowledge and was very helpful. I don't know why I have not received my answers to my product. I want to be able to use my battery in my garage and no one will answer my question.
I already did recommend, and the reception they recieved was awful.
The air vent to my attic won't close, and the meter had issues after the installation. They addressed the meter but still haven't addressed my attic vent issues. This job was supposed to be completed on November 30th, 2024, but it has not been completed. Their timeliness is disappointing; I am withholding their last payment until my vent is fixed.
They were very efficant and easy to work with.
