Fast installation once all the permits were handled.

Five stars overall for system design, installation and being flexible on the solar panel layout and brand. The installers were courteous and included us on final wiring decisions and did a tidy job and the system is functioning well. We also liked how Premier proposed an Enphase system and got us seriously thinking about Enphase when none of our other quotes did. We're glad we chose Enphase.

Minus one star for slow payment collection and fear of receiving a lien on our home, for multiple broken promises on installation of missing battery capacity placards, for ignoring multiple requests for schedule updates, and for miss-wiring the home consumption CTs which caused very confusing status readings and battery consumption behavior when our system went live. Premier sent out a tech who was great at fixing the problem, but the days and emails and phone calls leading up to that was very frustrating.

Minus one more star designing a notch around one of our roof attic fans and then installing the array slightly lower on the roof so that the notch is no longer needed. Now we have this notch we don't want where one of the lower panels could have been placed. I wish this was raised for discussion during installation so it could have been adjusted then. Having someone from the design team present at the start of panel installation would be helpful.

The premier Solar did really good communicating. anytime i had questions they gave me good explanations. they finished the job and everything was done properly. I am satisfied with their work.

We experienced long delays in completing our project and gaps in communication. Although some supply chain issues and permitting backlogs were not Premier Solar's fault, communication was sometimes a struggle and our project manager changed three times over the 10-month span of our project.

Total price for grid tie system was less than competitors bid by nearly a dollar a watt with higher quality panels.

Premier Solar NW did a very professional job on the Solar Installation. They were helpful and met all of their timelines. They also helped out in getting PGE to turn on the linkage to the power grid. The system has been working well. Very happy.

Premier Solar is the most professional and transparent company in their field. We researched several others, and from beginning to end, they were exactly everything they promised they would be.

Everything worked out just fine. The company changed ownership just prior to installation and communication could’ve been better.

I think Premier Solar NW did a good job with the installation. They were late with the installation, so they deducted from the final bill the amount of electrical credit from the time they said it would be done to the time they got it done. We appreciated that.

Up front communication. Got the job scheduled and completed before the end of summer which is what I wanted. Other solar companies couldn’t guarantee when they could get the job done. This company has been around for at least 10 years. They are local to Portland and no subcontractors. They are not so huge where I would have to talk to some out of state or out of country call center to get customer service. These were all important factors for me in deciding on an installation company.

The process was easy and the quality was good.
