We are so pleased with our new extended-season porch. Our sales person planned out the project to our specs, fulfillment made it happen within weeks, and our installation crew was professional and efficient.
The project began sooner than expected which was great. The installers- very nice gentlemen- however, they were here until 6, 7, 8 o’clock some nights.
The project was reported complete- when, indeed, it was not. However, we received no communication from Patio Enclosures until I reached out because upgrade wanted a payment. It still took another few days for a response. There was a lack of professionalism and communication. I would be happy to explain via phone. There’s more but it is too much to type. We also didn’t receive any type of reconciliation.
I would like a call because I feel very strongly we deserve a credit of some sort.
I'm very satisfied with the end product. I wasn't entirely happy with some of the onsite business practices.

We are mostly happy with the finished product, just wish the installers were more careful with the products.
A rather simple porch screen replacement took nearly 5 months to complete. Wrong materials (screen doors) were ordered, contractors didn't seem to know what the other contractorss were doing. The electrician installed lights in the wrong place and disconnected an important outlet. And all of the subcontractors had to drive down to Tucson from Phoenix.
The product is solid, the installers are efficient and caring. Management is easy to work with. The salesperson is excellent in interpreting your needs to the product line.
The rep was very polite and knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail, there wasn’t anything that happened that was unexpected
They followed up and kept me updated every step of the way. Great customer service.

I should have done more research on patio enclosure companies. Since I only got one quote I have no way of comparing. That said, the product is solid & I’m pleased with my enclosure. I just feel that the communication after the sale was frustrating & that leaves a lingering dissatisfaction.
From the sales rep who we signed the contract with in 2/25 to now- it has been a total disaster- it was to be finished in JUNE 2025 - and here we are JULY 2026 and still having major issues- and no response from Andy since May- there is absolutely no way we the Zumbrun’s could recommend GDPE to anyone- we live in an upscale neighborhood - we get a lot of inquires as to who did the project/ I tell them and all our “ SUPERIOR workman we have doing other projects here what a horrific experience it has been for us- we DEEPLY REGRET hiring GDPE- we now know why online you delete all negative posts about GDPE- we wish we had found the negative comments that we did find before we hired GDPE- the Zumbrun’s York PA.

There was a lot of back and forth with the county inspectors because multiple steps were not completed to code. familiarity with local building code would have saved a lot of time.

Better manage and prioritize issues.
They laid out all the steps of what we could expect in each phase of the project.
The installation looks thrown together. They took the wrong measurements, sent the wrong parts (door where there was supposed to be a window). There are gaps between the structure and the walls that they left flashing for us to figure it out. The salesman told us everything we wanted to hear to sign the dotted line but then the rest of the team didn’t deliver. And when mistakes were identified, the customer rep started ignoring/not responding to my calls during the installation but she was contacting the installers.

Great customer service, excellent product
The price was higher than I would like. And the payment system has been confusing to navigate. Was even told my my sales person they had nothing to do with the financing part and couldn't help. That's poor service. Along with zero personal follow up from a real person on the finished product.
Neil Hofer was instrumental in explaining everything and guiding us through the process.
