I’m still waiting for a call back from a sales manager regarding the “70% off bathroom installation promotion that was not mentioned/applied to my sale. It’s been 2 weeks since I called and was told a mgr would contact me, and previously a month ago, I spoke with a representative that told me they needed to reach out to my sales associate and that he would call, but that never happened, which is why I asked for a mgr 2 weeks ago. I followed up 5 days ago and was told to call back the following day, since they were about to close. Why the **** do I need to keep calling back when I’ve been told a Renuity employee would be contacting me?!?! My oroject coordinator during the project was also hard to get a response from, taking 2+ days to return a call/text, or sometimes not ever responding. The lack of communication and ignoring customer problems makes me very leary of recommending your company to anyone! Maybe I’ll finally get a call back once this is read?!

First and foremost, the actual product of finish on my kitchen cabinets is disgusting and not worth 50% of what I paid- the only good part of this whole ordeal is the quality of work the installers did, absolutely excellent--- EXCELLENT WORK. LOUSY PRODUCT- you asked, I told you.

The windows are very nice. Turnaround time from order to installation was excellent. The installers were on time, careful about covering everything and leaving no mess. The job was finished in reasonable time and they were polite and efficient.

It was a good process, we did have one misunderstanding, which, after talking to someone was easily taken care of. I think that’s great since there will br problems when you’re doing something as complicated as as what they had to do for us and to be able to resolve it to everyone’s satisfaction says a lot about this company.

A professional outfit top to bottom

I purchased a tub to shower conversion from Renuity Orlando. The installation was on 08/20/26-08/22/26. The Field Manager called to tell me the installers did not speak English, and I’d have to call him to communicate with them. Here are the problems encountered.
1. CONCRETE. Clearly shown on the permit and on the plan that we signed off on when we made the purchase, the shower drain was on the right. I wanted it this way, not only because the previous tub drain was on the right, but because I don't like stepping on the hole of a drain while I'm taking a shower, and with it on the right (near the shower wall), it would be out of the way. The lead installer called me in to explain that they only had a center drain pan. I told him it was supposed to be a drain on the right. He said, only center. I assumed this means that they didn't have a pan that has the drain on the right. I wasn't able to get a lot of detail because of the language barrier. We made a lot of hand movements and got basic wording down enough to communicate some. So, this meant that he cut 2.5 feet of my foundation away and dug down into the dirt to elongate the existing drain to match the center drain hole of the pan. There was no plastic dust barrier put up, or any other mitigating measure taken. White concrete powder coated everything in the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and living room. Every item inside the drawers and cabinets were coated as well. We were unprepared for all the white powder inside. At the end of the day, their cleanup for all the dust and powder was them bringing in a blower and blowing the surface of the bathroom. Of course, this only caused the powder to become airborne again and resettle into new places.
I assume he poured concrete back into the hole to shore up the foundation, but he put the pan in over it the same day. There was no drying time for the concrete to cure. The field manager advised that he did not take pictures that would show that he filled with concrete. I will have no idea if it has cracked, settled, or separated from the foundation, or was even poured in the first place.
2. GARAGE. The bulk of the cutting of the Luxstone and drywall were done in the garage. Due to this, my entire garage had a layer of powder on everything in it.
Once installed on Friday, the Luxstone walls were cut in place in the bathroom to make room for the niches and for fitment. This again produced a layer of dust from the cutting, after we had spent hours the previous night cleaning the concrete dust. Again, no mitigation effort for that powder was made.
4. CAULK. The first day after installation, I noticed that a few areas on the caulk around the trim had turned a dark yellow/orange as moisture had been left under the caulk. I decided I did not want to have the installers back for the caulk and the adjustment of the shower door issues, as I wanted the job done right. They had their chance to do it right the first time.
I changed the seal on the shower door so it would fit against the wall and cut out the moisture damaged caulk and repaired it myself. Let than 10 days after install, the caulk/sealant between the ceiling and all of the shower walls had cracked and opened up. Again, I re-caulked myself.
I am very disappointed in the botched installation, mess, unknown effect on the foundation under the shower, drain in the center of the shower, and extra work I had to do to make repairs.
The company offered me $1,000 off the $20,000 job. They said it was due to them not making the shower pan in my size that has a drain on the right and the sales rep should have known. They said I should have let them come back and fix the caulking instead of doing it myself. I would not choose Renuity for installation, even if the Kohler product is good. I wish I would have purchased elsewhere.

It took over 2 months to complete the walk in tub. Drain handle wasn’t adjusted. Had to cal back to fix the drain handle. This should not have taken so long to complete. The installer seemed to know his craft but was delayed due to lacking of parts and sending him his missing parts in an empty box.

They were very good at explaining the process and prompt at answering questions.

I had a carpenter ant issues which I understand the delay. It took over a month to complete. The Brushed Brass hardware that was sold, was not available and had to order. More issuse below.

No way that the 2 day was adequate to do this job! Disconnect between sales and actual scheduler of crew.

Most people I know are on a FIXED INCOME Retirement such as myself and can't afford high price renovation. If you could get special lower pricing programs for Seniors for say 10k that might help.

You sent somebody out to measure (no one know who it was) he told me the shower will extend into the closet.
Then the day of installation the workers got all upset saying I am not going to go through the wall it is too much work. He carried on for a long time speaking on the phone to the project manager then the project manager would call me. This went on for awhile until it was decided they would order a new floor for the shower. The big thing is I felt I was too blame for the measurements and going into the closet. My friend came over and the worker told him to get "Your wife" with the program. This was a truly humiliating experience. Another thing was my sales person did not call me back this also broke my heart and another reason why I will never recommend.
