MBRG completed a major renovation of our basement over the winter and did a great job. From the design phase through final completion, George and his team communicated clearly with us the entire way so there were no surprises on timing, budget or what the finished space would look like. They even finished the renovations ahead of schedule! We would recommend them to anyone and will certainly call them again if we ever decide to take on another project like this in the future.

Communication - Our situation was unique in that we were living several thousand miles away in Asia while our home was being renovated by MBRG. The team were able to address all of our questions quickly and thoroughly via e-mail and FaceTime.

I had previously worked with another company on another home, and when that contractor retired he stated simply that George/MBRG was "the only company I can or will recommend." That was enough for me. We ran into some unforeseen issues that caused a several week extension, but MBRG quickly adjusted the schedule to keep things running smoothly. While it ended up being a substantial increase dollar-wise, I am grateful they had the ability to address and correct the issues. We were kept apprised of every detail which, in turn, was reflected in detailed change orders including options. Matt Burton was terrific as was Gary Warburton - responsive, attentive to every concern, and one of them checked in on-site nearly every day. The lead carpenter, Steven Doebel, was on-site everyday and did an absolutely outstanding job with our custom bookcases, fireplace cabinets and other built ins. We simply could not be more pleased with the outcome and will use MBRG on Phase II of our renovations.

The design that George brainstormed was well thought out for functionality and the MBRG team worked with us to incorporate all of the elements we wanted in those spaces. The workmanship is high quality and the end result is exactly what we wanted.
