The planning and reno process was excellent. Caneisha, the project coordinator and designer is creative and inclusive in guiding me in designing the space and choosing finishes. Jason, the head contractor was respectful and did an excellent job in communicating with me and was open to changes and coordinating the trades. Peter, the on-site contractor was beyond excellent in providing day to day work and daily tidying of the job site.
The communication and management of the project was beyond excellent by Dwayne.

Master Edge completey professional in all aspects including coordination, project management, communication and being proactive in addressing concerns.

We hired Master Edge Homes to finish our basement a couple of years ago and it's gorgeous. We get so many compliments on it! It includes a stunning kitchenette, spacious TV area, a place for gaming, a fabulous gym area and lots of storage. We recently called them back to complete a wheel-chair accessible bathroom upstairs. Many accessible spaces look institutional, which we did not want. MEH put together a design that was sleek and sophisticated with luxurious on-trend finishes. They sourced funky grab bars and supports that I didn't even know existed! Very happy with the quality of work and the final project. Highly recommend!

In short, Master Edge Homes is a professionally-run design build firm with a strong commitment to excellence. From Dwayne, the president, on down they communicate clearly and stand by their word; their work is outstanding and they deliver on time, on budget right to the end and beyond. They have their processes "nailed down" (sorry! couldn't resist) such that I have faith that any Master Edge Homes customer will be treated with the same care and respect that we received and continue to receive.

Recognized Excellence - Jason is an amazing PM. Jason ran the show like he was renovating his own house. He was invaluable to the project. We can’t say enough good things about him and the whole crew. First off, they’re all friendly, respectful and have the customer’s interests at heart. In particular, Jason is knowledgeable on seemingly all aspects of construction and pays incredible attention to detail. There were multiple times when we were dumbfounded that he’d know a minor detail about something we’d expect only the relevant subtrade to know. He had the complete respect of the various trades (plumbers, electricians, carpenters, etc.) and he managed them very effectively. After seeing Jason almost every day for a year, it was a bit sad when the project finished up and he moved on to his next project.

Additional Comments - Dwayne’s open and honest approach instilled trust and confidence in us immediately. He really took the worry of a big renovation off our shoulders, handing the details, scheduling and managing things smoothly. Even when the inevitable surprises arose (e.g. original builder had not installed a load bearing beam, material delays, we added additional work, etc), the project finished under budget and within a week of the scheduled completion date. We absolutely love our renovation. People who see it comment on the quality of the work that was done. Dwayne’s commitment didn’t end with the job. He continues to stand behind his work, even after the renovation is done. We had a faulty drain and some water damage, he took care of it. We will be calling Master Edge for any future work and have no reservations referring him to our close friends and family.

I would use them again....they made a start to finish renovation something that was fairly stress free for us.....something all my friend say is very rare in the business.
