Contacted Long & Foster to request explanation for dramatic increase in homeowners premium and asked for agent to provide comparison and quote. Was told agent would return call within 48 hrs. A week went buy without a return call. Was a customer for 8 years and not even the courtesy of a return call. I called another local agent and found better coverage for less. This was the 2nd time that we had reached out to L&F without a response.

It was very helpful to have L&F Insurance as part of the umbrella of services available. Salaries in the area tend to be higher than the national average but hours worked are longer and solutions that help homebuyers pull together solutions in one place is extremely helpful.
Contact me annually at least a month before my policy renews with an offer to review any changes on either side with me. When I reach out... three day turnaround feels "comfortable" instead of enthusiastic. And, maybe send a printout of the comparisons via email rather than me just taking the agent's word for it over the phone. Yes, I am satisfied, but also open to being courted.

Michele was a great insurance consultant. I didn’t wind up switching my insurance to save money because I would’ve had to lower my total loss coverage with the policy that was being offered but if not, I would have used you. Michele was great thank you so much. I was attempting to bundle Car and Home in order to save money per year but the homeowners policy would’ve cut my total loss coverage from 111,000 which is the current amount to something like 77,000 and that wouldn’t be enough in case of a total loss but thank you michele she’s great.
Long &Foster has been able to listen to the problem and quickly respond and find a solution. The customer service has to be rated highly. I will continue to use Long & Foster as part of mine mortgage /insurance home buying experience. I recommend them.
