I’m impressed with K-Designers! Great communication, quality workmanship, very easy to work with!

Whomever we spoke to was always so polite.

They were great to work with. The whole team was very friendly and helpful. Any issues that I had were taken care of before work was started. Gavin, and Oscar were great to work with. I would definitely use them again on other house projects that I will be needing. They started on a Monday and were done with everything on Friday however I changed a couple of things do they stayed on last day to finish everything up. Great team!!!

Sales men were describing what I have to do for the remodel. One would ask me a question about my preference and the other would tell me how to answer. Then when the installer came out, he didn’t know what to do. He was asking my wife questions that he should’ve known. The whole point of this project was to custom cut the slabs to fit our bathroom but there is an inch of space where the installer used some sort of goopy filler instead of cutting the slabs correctly. He cut into the bathroom bench in a jagged way but went too far so he had to use the goopy filler. The edges of the shower look horrible and pose a danger to our toddler. On top of it all, we were told if we signed the contract by the end of the week, we would have the shower installed by Thanksgiving. We didn’t get it installed until mid January. Really bad experience to get a sub par “custom” shower

Adam Heyne was my sales rep and he was amazing!! The crew that put on my siding were totally awesome. They answered questions, showed me what they were doing and why. I now have a beautiful home that I get to share with folks. If you're thinking about putting on siding, K-Designers are your ones to do the job!!

Terrific installation tech. Very proficient, very knowledgeable and very precise.

The installation went smoothly, and the installers were courteous and professional. They answered our questions that came up as the installation went along. The installation was meticulously performed with good quality.

Though it did take slightly longer than expected, but that was most likely due to the changes I have made.

They showeded up about the times they said and communicated schedule differences. Did job just fine.

My windows have less tint now. I don't feel like they are as energy efficient as my old ones. I can't really get a rebate as my windows don't qualify for gas and only the small rebate for the power company. Then, I can't get the one for the power without the square footage. I asked for it, but never received it. All of my windows were put in opening the opposite direction. We'll, except for one that we definitely needed changed.

There was no initiated contact from K Designers following the sales rep coming to our home. Weeks passed between us signing the contract and getting anything scheduled. Our first install day, I had to take PTO to be home and the installer was a no call no show. When we got it rescheduled again, they canceled on us the morning of. Third time was a charm but the person who ordered the materials didn’t order enough or the toilet and we had a 1/2 finished job for almost another month. The office had very poor communication, and when we called the office day was very unprofessional and flat rude. The administrative side of things was a mess start to finish, though the installer did a lovely job I cannot recommend anyone else have this experience.

We have an issue with an area of siding that we have requested be addressed. Our project was completed in October and we have repeatedly requested that someone come and fix it. We have sent pictures ,text messages and made phone calls and still at 2 months no one has been out to look at it! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Today, I find more and more that there is a lack of communication between those who are completing a project and those who are paying for the project. I wish I had been told beforehand that all items need to be moved to allow access to windows both inside and outside. I was given no notice about inside. I only cleared up outside to provide access. However, when the project started I was only then told about relocating items. Some got moved around to the best of my ability. But some were too heavy for me to move. As things got moved and the work was done, items were sometimes left in a different area of the room. Had I had several days notice ahead of time I could have moved many items and cleared other areas in a more organized manner.

I had six windows installed and was guaranteed that they would not leak. I’m very disappointed to say every window installed LEAKS. Now I can get no one from the company to respond and I stopped making my monthly. Windows look great but the quality is not there. I have other windows to replace but don’t know as I will have them installed by the same company. So chances of matching what I already have installed are probably slim.

There were two issues identified and phone calls made but so far, no response.

Although there was an issue with miscommunication Bryan was extremely concerned and helpful in reaching a settlement that was agreed upon.

Good communication

You could be more specific with your labors I was having my rental house resided and they came to my home address and started unloading material. I was at work and happened to come home before they started removing any siding but it could have been quite a problem had I not come home.

I would highly recommend k designers to my friends and family.

communication- The sale was done September 20th and then silence. Except from the Green Sky- in October they charged my account most of the contract price. I called a number the salesmen gave me and heard nothing. I talked with Jake, sales and he was trying to figure out the time line but did not have any answers. I then started received a payment due notice from Green Sky. I was having to start paying for a shower that did not even have a installation date.

I liked the quality of the windows. The windows are solid. There is no rattling on the cold windy days. You cannot feel cold air or drafts from around the windows. K-Designers delivered the quality product, answered all our questions, and did everything they promised.

Professional, on time for job, kept me informed with times and expectations of supply delivery. Knowledgeable laborer and very concerned with project being done right and even sooner than expected.

Scheduling was terrible. Instead of 6 weeks it was 11

The workers were professional and courteous.

This job was the most stressful thing I’ve done.

First not take 2 years to get back to a customer and when something planned don't cancel 3 times and make that customer wait for 4 months after that

First installment was incorrect. Second installment needed repairs already.

K-Designers was a rollercoaster to work with. It was up to me to figure out who I was to communicate and work with of the 4 people from K-Designers. I was originally told between 1-3 days to complete the bathroom remodel but it took about 3 weeks. I was told that 1-3 days was possible as a large crew would be tackling the work but a single subcontractor was sent out for 90% of the work. Overall, the bath, toilet and vanity were done well.

Subcontractor who did the majority of the work was great and communicated well. However, the project manager and master plumber were unpleasant to work with.

When a leak in the main stack was identified, the master plumber offered to replace the section but not the entire main stack. I understand why but the rude attitude after I said I’d reach out to other plumbers to replace the entire main stack was uncalled for.

The project manager who was wrapping up the project was cleaning up the details was at first responsive and pleasant to work with. Paint touchups, finishing the shelves, fixing the out of level mirror, protruding switch were the items to wrap up. After finishing the shelves and caulking, he rushed in to get a signature saying that it was only for the wet areas and major renovations and that he’d be back to wrap up the other items. After getting the run around for 3 weeks, I have given up trying to get them to come fix up the remaining items.

What started out as a good experience ended in a poor experience. I will not be using nor recommending K-Designers again.

Every step of the way was handled with professionalism, quick responses, and high quality craftsmanship.
