Sales agent threaten there would be a lean places on my house if I did not schedule the start date… because they had all product ready… 1- floor he had where incorrect .. 2-the shower was incorrect (drain not centered and shower curb not as we requested and agreed with sale agent n he forgot to add additional items to the contract as we agreed .. Also manger fail to advise the curb top would need to be added prior to the walls. So now this is a whole mess. We had to redo paint per the job wasnt done professionally..
and it’s been 1 month n the glue/******* is cracking… I had to remind the contractor to seal the edges / to do repair on the roof per the contract and to paint the small closet in the bathroom per the sales agent and I agreed it was the whole bathroom…
Shower shelf were installed by contractor's apprentice n he forgot to add the glue inside to make them sturdy he had to redo them. also told contractor we didn’t want the grab bar inside shower… n he forgot to tell his prentice and added the grab bar. Also manager was supposed to order the shower curb the first week they started the remodel per sales agent forgot to order the correct height. Well is still not done . the person who came in a couple days ago advised this should have been done before the walls. This company is a whole freaking mess… they advised it would take one week , we figured two since it’s a whole remodel well it was 3 weeks.. contractors seem to do multiple jobs at once and they would come late n leave early.. days they would work like 4 hrs
Jeff was great, everything else was awful. Poor communication and a verbal assault/threat from the sales manager.
Repetitive calls, emails and texts from corporate office during initial sales to set up meeting inquiry. Corporate was clearly not reading notes or communicating with local office.
Live in Midwest and had a uniquely warm winter. They decided to install siding in February and started on a week when a blizzard was forecasted. Instal was interrupted. In the end, we were asked to sign off on job while ground was snow covered and we were stuck with the nail and trash clean up. If they had waited two more days they could have done a proper cleanup.
Within a month we were filing a claim because a piece of siding had fallen off. A month after filing the claim, we had not heard from installer about scheduling a time to look at repair. When I called to follow up the local office basically told me to wait patiently. I gave it another month before calling. At this point more siding in the area is threatening to fall and a piece is bulging out. They send someone out the same day.
Next day we have strong winds and we notice a new are of the house with bulging and areas threatening to fall down. I wrote a google review and was contacted stating someone would be out over the weekend to fix. No one showed. Wrote a follow up email on Monday and they did come out that afternoon to fix. Never heard any response from the office about the change in service.
The biggest issues I had are in more detail below.
Their honesty ----what they offerred on their presentation is what you get install. No exagerations.
Nothing I was told would happen happened. Siding was Not the quality siding I was show. The job was done sloppy. They left a mess they stomped down my flowers crushing them. Caulking was very sloppy. Played their music loud. Left nails everywhere still cleaning up after them. Bill Lockhart out and out lied about EVERYTHING!!!

I liked the fact that it was easy to communicate with K-Designers. I have no complaints. Everything was perfect and I love my new windows! The workers were polite and cleaned up after everything was completed.
Communication with anyone at the company has been terrible. They are unresponsive. And the windows we got were not as promised and the handles don’t match our other windows as we requested. And they are supposed to replace the handles but it is going on 4 weeks now and we have been unable to reach them despite many many messages.
Feel like I got bait and switch buy sales man. Because the windows I got sold on were not the windows I got installed.I had the installer put them in because was tired of the run around. Not being told what was going on the previous 3 weeks. My self having to call and find out what was going on. The only people I feel that did there job to perfection was the install company. I told them I would pay for the windows when finished in cash but they ran a credit account on the purchase anyway stating that the way they do it. Then having to sign more paperwork to do a cash sale instead of using the credit line they forced was treated me to apply for. The salesman man was supposed to give me quotes on the other windows so I may purchase and do the install my self, but not follow up! Don’t think I’ll be doing that! Not happy of how I treated. Very professional worker and great customer relations. Very happy that I picked K- Designers.
Communication between the lead contractor initially and us was poor. This breakdown amounted to me taking over the relationship between the day-to-day contractor operations. This was not the intention of having a full service company coordinating our renovation. It should be mentioned that once the initial lead contractor handed over communication to someone else in your organization, the relationship improved immensely.
All of my concerns were addressed and satisfied.
Ok the guys were very nice but not very professional in some areas. #1. Cleanup we’ve got a lot of pieces of leftover construction pieces all around the exterior of the house, including nails and screws.
#2. They started out great filling trim with wood filler then they slacked off. ( I was gone the second day d/t my wife having surgery) on Tuesday when I returned from the hospital, the guys were just finishing up… in a hurry to leave it seemed. Then I started noticing things… I had to pound in nails where things weren’t properly finished. I don’t generally complain but, I feel like doing 10 windows in one day is pushing it. It would have been better to slow down and finish each room completely and then moving on. In their haste to leave a few items were left behind.

I never could get someone to return my calls. When I finally got a response, they hadn't even ordered the damage panel.Yet when they want something from me I get at least one email a day.
I've been waiting for more than 3 months for my windows to be complete and I get no communication from them
Based on the professional work, materials and even the assistance with shower design,value of remodel, would highly recommend this company!
i would happily recommend you guys if you got the work done sooner. t took two months to do the glass so we could use the shower which was originnaly done well,
Craftmenship was great
