JPG YMCA is an A+ facility. We recently relocated out of state and I very much miss the Y.
I love it there and with that new circuit. He gym , you're in competition with yourself and it makes it fun
I stated below that your new remodel & cleanliness are positive. A couple of suggestions would be to put a time limit the fitness machines. Some people sit on them & read their phones. Also, you need a trash can in the handicap stall in the ladies restroom. Overall, good job on your improvements!
The quality of employees & equipment
Love the new set up and machines! Taking the giant cement wall away made a big difference, looks bigger and more open. All the remodeling has been done well and looks clean and nice. 👍🏼
Recent upgrades make for a nice experience
you just got all this new equipment and some of it is without meaning for me, in fact, inferior...I was under the impression that we would get an opportunity to do evaluations. I was told at Geigle Y that they sent out evaluations after 3 weeks from getting all the new equipment and changed out 3 machines as a result - still waiting
The kids zone staff are so amazing Miss Angela is wonderful with the kids.
Yes, I really like the Y but it's really getting get busy and less enjoyable. It's tough because I want it to be successful and everyone to enjoy it but it can be difficult at times to find space or machines at the gym or be in the pool because it can be really busy at times.
Adam was incredible!! My autistic son now knows how to swim! So thankful.
Love Denise's classes. She makes exercise fun!
Very clean and greeted at the door was nice!!
Clean, gra
There are not enough benches and lighter weight increments of 8 and 12 lb would be nice.
The onboarding process was nice and easy. Mike R was very helpful when he was signing me and my family up. He was very informative on the programs and how things worked and was able to give me a mini tour (in words) while he was working on the "paperwork". He told us about the remodel, the Egym coming, and other items we might be interested in at the Y.
Equipments adequate . Would love to see expansion of the building.
I like the class offerings, the facilities, and the staff
Fix or replace broken machines. The Expresso bike has not worked since December of 2025. it was replaced with the replacement of all of the machines on the floor, but the new bike HAS NEVER worked. The coffee/break room is too small and awkwardly shaped, and the coffee maker should be located in the break room with the dispensing urns. The new machines are not as user friendly as the ones they replaced and seem more cheaply built.
The inside facility is very clean, the staff is so welcoming, the coaches are phenomenal. I love the Les Mills group workouts. Carrie has been amazing with BodyCombat! Mary is so sweet and doing great with BodyPump.
Helpful staff,
Updated equipment
There are so many programs and so much to do at the Y. There is a way for all people of all age groups to be healthy.
I love the Y. I have been here for many years, I would say almost 30. I have always loved the instructors I have had. The actual instructors are nice, but i missed the ones from many years. They were very professional and creative. Their classes were different many times but with the same purpose of getting better. They pushed you to work hard. I dont find this anymore.
The nicest people! There is comraderie in all my classes
For me, I find it friendly and adequate for my goals. I like the classes to keep my body moving.
Great classes
You could make sure that your staff is better trained on the use of the equipment so they could be more helpful to the members. The staff needs to pay more attention to how members are trained on the new EGYM circuit and to ensure members are moving in one direction and only doing one set of repetitions so everyone moves to the next machine at the same time.
Otherwise, we're really enjoying the experience of working out at the Y. The staff is very friendly and the equipment and facilities are excellent!
I really like the new equipment. Two changes that would make me even happier.
1) Please consider extending weekend hours. For people like me that work long hours on the weekdays, we rely on weekends to be able to work out. Your weekend hours are limited. Closing at 5pm on both days. Weekend hours were shortened during Covid and were never restored to prior Covid hours.
2) Lansbrook Y has a squat machine with cusions on the shoulders. Consider adding that machine.
Best wishes.
You do not offer consistent water exercise classes and it has been almost two years since you had classes 5 days a week also when we move to the competition pool they don’t give us the lanes it says in the schedule we are supposed to have
Class are good. Facilities are clean. But 9:00 am class is in a way too small room on Monday and Friday.
Amazing group fitness instructors.
Some of the rooms need fans, possibly attached to the wall like Geigle y or at least free standing. The gym could use additional weights in the 3 4 and 5 pounds. Monday cardio strength class is very large for a small room, so if possible maybe limit the number of people. All these things are minor concerns compared to all things that are going right.
Everyone is helpful and welcoming and this Y offers many classes and events
The Y is such a welcoming environment!
The facility is very clean and the new equipment has been a great update. The staff is friendly and the Y is trying to do more.
Beautiful facility. Friendly from the first day I signed up. Love the new EGYM equipment. I guess my goals are achieved by what I make of it. I am afraid my favorite spot is still the coffee room!! Love that!! 😅😍
I would like to see a space made available for stretching or yoga 🧘🏻♀️ etc there is no room on the floor. Previous to the Reno staff told me there was a corner available ( there wasn’t) the community room would be perfect however was promptly told by staff that it can’t be used. Other facilities have an area for stretching etc it would be nice to use that or make the community room available when there isn’t classes
The Y seems to be everything I would expect it to be, except I usually cannot find a worker in the gym to help me learn how to use some of the equipment.
Front desk knowledge and demeanor
Too crowded at prime times. The stretch room was full today and had to skip my stretches routine and core workout. People sit on the machines texting away and ignore people waiting to use the machine. Need to expand with all the growth in Pasco County.
The staff and instructors are welcoming and extremely positive, fun and encouraging. Members are friendly and helpful to newer members.
A great place to workout. Love their classes and teachers take their time to help you. Great gym machines. Gym personnel always helpful. A fun place.
Love the instructors and the classes
The membership as a whole on the workout floor seem entitled to encroaching on others personal space. I think I'm supposed to be intimidated, but I'm stubborn.
Missing key machines with the new reset. Need to change Sunday hours from 11 to earlier. Need some kind of music, the place is like a library and people can hear your conversations across the floor.
There are a lot of kids that walk over from the high school and middle school around 3, the parking lot is very dangerous. People parking in no parking areas blocking traffic and kids running around the parking lot. Assistance for the Sheriffs office is needed but not requested. Parking lot security cameras would also be great, especially in the remote back "overflow" lot.
A steamroom, dry sauna, and a jacuzzi would be nice additions.
Friendly, helpful stsff; beautiful new gym euipment; the new e-gym circuit.
I am pleased that you have added Mary as a Yoga Instructor, her class is very enjoyable. I wish that the Yoga classes offered at the Trinity branch were as numerous as the Greater Palm Harbor branch, they have many classes scheduled at various days and times, and the instructors at the GPH branch are top-notch. As I stated before, Mary is a great Yoga Instructor, and I would like to see more classes offered from Mary, or other qualified Yoga Instructors on the schedule.
Renovation is nice but women's room closed way too long
Some of the instructors are not giving the class that the application describes will be given. Some of the instructors are turning the music up so loud that you cannot understand what they're saying on the microphone. Some of the classes are getting smaller and smaller because the classes are not being given for age appropriate levels of expertise. One suggestion is to label each class rather, it is intended for Beginners or Intermediate or Advanced. Thank you, L Reaves
Clean place and organized
