Great people to work with

Let me start out with the bottom line first. We just had a new roof and Master Shield gutter protection put on our house and the end result from start to finish was a perfect job. Everything could not have turned out any better and it looks beautiful! Now for a little more detail:

We had a small leak on our indoor ceiling and wanted to get the cause repaired. After viewing their commercial on television, which gave some history on how the company started, viewing ratings that other people had written, awards that the company had received over time and seeing a previous job that they had completed in a relatives neighborhood, I decided to give them a call.

I first spoke with Tian and made an appointment with Alex to diagnose the problem. I was given 3 options to resolve the issue, a new patch over the suspected area, re-shingle the back side of the house, or re-shingle the whole house. We decided to go with a complete job as the roof was last done over 20 plus years ago and we wanted everything to match for resale value in the future.

We next spoke with Kaitlyn who kept us well informed along the way with everything that takes place before they do the actual job. The team showed up on the day of the job, removed the previous shingles, found and replaced a piece of CDX that was in an area unrelated to the leak, and re-shingled the whole house in one day. They were great and worked very well together, highly efficient. Sami and Paulo checked in during the day to view the progress and make sure everything went according to plan. It did.

The Master Shield gutter protection was installed about a week later by Keven and Josimar who also did a great job. Now we don't have to worry about climbing on the roof and blowing the leaves out of the gutters in the fall.

I also spoke with Kiley along the way who was great. Miah reached out afterwards and provided me with the paperwork that I could forward to my insurance for a discount on my homeowners insurance.

Everyone we spoke to and interacted with along the way could not have been any nicer. They all were very personable, had very positive attitudes and indicated that if we had any concerns, we could call anytime and they would be addressed.

So, in conclusion, this turned out to be a very positive experience and we could not be any happier.

We were very very impressed with Dustin the rep that came out on our first visit. He was full of knowledge and made sure we understood the whole process.

I was told my project would be 1 or 2 days at most. My project was delayed by one day resulting in my garage being blocked for 4 days. Also, I keep finding nails and several shingles in my backyard.

My condo association had hired Infinity Exteriors to replace the roof of one of the buildings. A year later we hired them to do the other building’s roof. They sub contracted the work out to a different roofing contractor that we had gotten a bid from, but had chosen Infinity to do the job. We could’ve saved $2K had we hired the other roofer directly. Trying to get things scheduled was hectic and there was a TOTAL MESS when the roof was done. Discarded shingles, nails, staples, around all of the condo units on the patios, in the grass, all around the building. They didn’t even try to pick up. It was not a good experience at all. I would not recommend to anyone.

Lots of nails and debris were left and the contractor never came back to clean. I had to personally purchase a magnetic roller and spent hours gathering leftover nails and debris.

This is my 2nd roof from Interstate and they do a great job. Fast and Efficient

This is the second home where I use High Point and I am very satisfied with their work. No surprises with their quote and the project got completed in a very timely manner.

Interstate was very responsive. For example, they promptly sent paperwork and all communications. When a box of materials fell off our roof before the job started they had a new box delivered early the next day so the job wasn't waiting on additional supplies.

The wrong roof vent was installed over our drier, which was not caught in the inspection. Interstate did promptly fix the issue once contacted.

We also didn't expect there to be quite so many tools dropped off our roof during the process, but that may be an inaccurate expectation on our part.

I've used Interstate twice for roofing. I'd use them again.

Delivered excellent service from sales to installation

We already started recommending them to everyone I know. We took pictures and showed everyone how great the installation was and how beautiful the result can be with them.

Jordan Briant was a great project lead, she was very thorough in her communications to us. We knew exactly what to expect on the day the project was to begin.

Couto Construction was so easy to work with. They were very informative on every step of the process. They were quick to respond to questions.

I purchased a new roof for my home and garage, along with re‑sheeting for the house and new gutters for the garage. AJ, the Sales Consultant, was excellent—very knowledgeable and made me feel confident I had chosen the right company. Vincent, the Project Manager, was equally informative and ensured everything stayed on schedule and was completed correctly.

Communication with both AJ and Vincent was outstanding. They were easy to reach and always returned my calls promptly.

I also want to recognize Armando and the roofing crew. I was extremely pleased with their work. Their craftsmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail were exceptional. They worked efficiently and left the property clean, ensuring that all debris was hauled away upon completion of the job.

I am totally satisfied with Interstate Roofing. This has been the second roof they have installed for me. If I were not satisfied, I would not have used them twice.

Just easy to deal with. No high pressure

The biggest problem was that the roof wasn't up to code, and it was setting. That is the reason that I give them that rating. I talked to them afterward, and they said it was because of the weather, but I don't know if that is going to be true or not.

The estimate was competitive but I didn't catch that it didn't include intake vents (which it seems like everyone else priced in) and I ended up having to schedule that separately after the fact.

Also, it wasn't brought up that my gutter guards would be removed and not replaced. A discount was offered on replacing them but it turned out to be a $200 discount on nearly $3000 for new gutter guards. I guess it is what it is, but I wish I'd known ahead of time that this was going to create another costly problem for me. It seemed like Chaba (who was otherwise pretty easy to deal with) just wanted to shift responsibility to someone else instead of solving the problem.

We had used Interstate before about 11 years ago. We liked the work they did then. Also, our neighbor (who once reroofed her own house) used Interstate recently to reroof her current house. Interstate’s sales agent was very thorough when assessing our house to come up with an estimate. He was very knowledgeable. The work supervisor has been so helpful and detail-oriented. He fussed over every tiny aspect of the roofing job. Both the sales agent and supervisor patiently educated us about the details of roofing. The roofers, who spent several days on our roof, illustrated what a work ethic looks like - always on task. The back office worked hard to keep us informed about what to expect. The entire project was very well organized and orchestrated. Old-fashioned hard work, delivering the goods - restores one’s faith in the USA.

The workers were very sloppy, left the workplace a mess, tromped through my flower bed. Why was I paying for their electricity to run their equipment, that should have been stated up front during the sales quote.

They were prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, and shared they cared going the job done right.
