MNPIA brokers should actively seek the best premiums for their clients. When MNPIA adds insurance companies they should review clients policies and see if the new company has a better plan/premium then let the clients know. They DID NOT do this for me!! I only found out about the savings because I when to a different insurance company, obtained better rates for all policies, then called MNPIA to cancel. MNPIA said they added three new companies in January and ran my policies, which yielded even better plans/premiums than the outside insurance company. The result was great but the broker should have initiated this change. Felt disingenuous that my best interest was not considered back in January.
