Trident takes care of the insurance on our condo, along with our downstairs neighbor with whom we constitute a 2 unit condo association. The initial placement of the coverage worked very smoothly and the premium seemed fair and reasonable based on our research. Renewals each year have been handled smoothly-- slightly longer lead time would be helpful in future, but otherwise no criticisms.

I was referred to DeWayne Hazlewood and instantly clicked with him. I'm very happy to have met him and genuinely appreciate what he does and did. But I didn't realize I was signing up with Insurance South - who have been terrible to work with. Days go by with no reponses to calls, emails. I called the call center number given to me and the woman who answered literally signed 4-5 times every time I spoke. She seems flustered and annoyed. Her huffing was followed by verbal statements indicating she had no idea how to help me with a basic request. Even told me she didn't have access to my vehicles or files. As my insurance agent or broker it was disturbing. I finally got an email to my first email and that was good. Now I've sent another email and it's been days....no response. I feel I can't depend on this company and they are not representing my best interests. I feel moving on may be in my future.
My home insurance keeps going up 30%+ per year and you don't/can't help me with this. Very frustratimg!

I felt like the coverage was very expensive for the size house. I felt like some of the questions on an "older Home' survey there was no way I could answer, as a person who literally had walked into the home maybe 4 times before buying it. It took a very long time for the underwriters to finally get it over the finish line. My particular broker was very professional and respectful, but the 'back of the kitchen" guys were, apparently, not impressed with me or my new home. Never fully understood why my home stood out as a "problem child", as it were.
Andy went above and beyond by seeking out competetive quotes for coverage of home and auto. This resulted in savings for my family and I.

My agent Bruce Whited was excellent. But, I was disappointed that L&F didn’t reach out to me before my expiration date to give me guidance. I had to reach out to L&F to find help
Trident has been responsive very quickly after we reach out with questions. Just recently we were able to work with Tammy Spear to lower our car insurance and bundle our home and auto policy. We ended up saving over $2000 thanks to her hard work!
Trident is very helpful during the annual renewal process however when I had to file a claim this past year the office hours were very limited and they weren't able to provide any assistance in regards to the claim process, what to expect, etc. Fortunately Safeco, my current insurance company was pretty easy to deal with but everything was done through the app, email, and text. When I called Trident initially it would have nice for someone to explain things to me first, prior to going through the claim process since it was unfamiliar to me. Thanks.

The process was easy up front and the prices were great. However, I did not know I could not contact L&F for any future changes or issues. I was instructed to contact Travelers directly. Later I received contact from L&F they made a mistake and didn't process my Umbrella policy. I'm not sure how or why it took 6 months to figure that out. Once we corrected, I received four separate applications and my rep said she didn't send them all. She couldn't tell me when the payment would draft or even how much for over a week. The policy never showed up in my Travelers account. Today I received 3 policy documents for the same policy with different prices and an effective date of tomorrow. When I called travelers they said its actually not effective until May. This is the worst experience I've ever had with insurance. Travelers is relatively easy to deal with, however I wanted a personal agent, not a customer service number. The persons assigned to me with L&F have provided less than satisfactory service. Quite disapointed. Cancelling my auto policy tomorrow and pricing out all other with other brokers. I won't be using L&F again and would not recommend them to friends.
