We had a roof installed in early Dec. 2025. We chose Home Genius because the salesman sold us on their integrity and customer experience. I've tried several times in the past month to get confirmation that our roof was repaired prior to shingle installation as we were told pictures are taken throughout the installation process. It took multiple calls to get the yard cleaned up. Still waiting for proof of the repairs. I waited to leave a review to give them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, companies that ignore customers after installation will not get my recommendation.

I had reached out to 3 or 4 different roofing companies, and none of them actually followed through and showed up at the appointment we had set. Home Genius did. In fact, they rushed my project to get it done before some weather was coming, which I really appreciated. My roof really needed to be replaced. They showed up on time every time. They went above and beyond, explaining everything to me, showing me all the photos they took when they were analyzing and after the roof was done. They've even been back and taken some more drone footage of my roof and shared that with me, just to show me it, again. They explained everything really thoroughly, and seemed to do a really quality job. They even told me that if any of the wood underneath my roof needed replaced, that that would be an extra charge. They explained very thoroughly every bit of that. I asked them what would be the maximum amount if all of the wood needed to be replaced. They actually went above and beyond and gave me that price tag. They did the calculations and told me exactly what it would cost me if it was all bad. That way I knew going in. Then, none of it needed replaced. They could have easily just been like, yep, it all needs replaced, so that's an extra $6,000, but they didn't. I feel like they were very honest. I think they're a little bit pricey, but I'm telling you, it was the easiest, painless job that I've ever dealt with, with home improvements. It just was really, really wonderful to deal with them. Every single person that was involved in the project was top-notch. The communication was incredibly good, too. They just communicated everything, every step of the way, and kept me informed constantly. It was good.

My project was not completed to my satisfaction even after the project manager told me it would be taken care of

The quality of materials, the installers great

The work was done quickly, but our house was virtually inaccessible during the job due to tools, ladders, tarps and tons of debris being in front of every door at the same time. Trucks left ruts all around the driveway as well - even parked into our neighbors lawn area off one side of drive. When flashing was done incorrectly (painted old flashing on sides visible from ground) around chimneys, it took weeks and multiple follow-ups on my part to get a response. If I had not persisted, I would not have gotten no follow up.

Everything was great, and the team was prompt.

Most people I know would not be able to afford repairs at that price.

Home Genius Exteriors does not keep to the estimate. They go above the estimate without telling you or showing before-and-after pictures of the work they've done. I have no way of knowing what they've done to the house or roof. They don't keep promises.

From order to installation was less than one week! My roof was completed in ONE day. When finished cleanup was completed and there was no signs that they had ever been there! I love my new roof and the color I chose is beautiful. I would definitely recommend them!
