Diversified classes; friendly instructors; since the rennovation, it's been much more comfortable being there. It used to look old and dilapidated. It looks good now.
It’s like an excellent community. We can use this these days.
got my sister to join so very likely
Enjoy the fitness center and the friendliness of the staff.
great staff super friendly! try alot of great activities at little to no extra cost & most people I have came into contact with are pleasent & easy to talk to
Love the variety of activities
It is getting more and more crowded and I have to wait for equipment to use. Not sure how bad it will be when the villas fill up and start coming to the Y.
My wife and I joined the Y just recently. She hasn't used the facilities yet. I play pickleball several days in a week. I like it very much. However, it would be great if there were permanent courts designed specifically for pickleball use.
I very much enjoy coming to the y with my learning disabled son.ive lost 35 pounds and am now out of a wheelchair thanks to my workouts in the pool. My son loves everyone at the Y. Everyone is extremely nice and friendly. I didn’t know anyone when I moved to Florida now I have many friends
I love the Silver Sneakers classes
More classes for older adults
Scheduling of different classes seems disjointed with one class ending at 10:30 and another starts at 10:30. 10 min inbetween would be nice. Instructors being late. Clients have schedules also and classes need to begin and end on time.
I really enjoy the water aerobics classes. The pool is 85 degrees which is perfect.
Classes are good for my aging body and my aging brain and good for "community". I am a little nervous about the future when the "Snow birds" come back and all the people living in the new community beside the Y come for their free membership. Perhaps I won't even be able to park?????? or enjoy a class??????
I am a participant in the early Water Excerise class. Once again this year the early class will lose half its space. While I agree with teaching kids to swim, Kent refused any attempt at compromise. I met with him on 5/13/26 in an attempt one last time to not have us seniors inconvenienced and have the class diminished. He came in with an immediate attitude, stating he was fed up with the pushback. I asked about the compromise we had discussed about us being willing to start at 8am. He stated that no instructors were willing to start at 8. He stated that he would hire me to teach a class, that I could get up there and teach. I am an overweight, 67 year old male with steel knees and a bad hip. He knows I would not be able to teach. I asked about giving us another lane. He stated they had surveyed our time and there were swimmers. My statement was, so you'll inconvenience 3 or 4 seniors
that could be in that space over I1 swimmers. He responded with if that's how you want to look at it. I asked, then no compromise to help us seniors that take the class. His final statement was you know there are other gyms, you can go to another gym. I find that a poor attitude for Y leadership to have.
The YMCA is simply the best. 5 stars!
I love the E-GYM workout! Very easy to use and track my progress!
It's always a good time for me to work out for my health.
Friendly staff, great activities
Too crowded
Everyone is friendly and I have connected with people at the Y. I am obsessed with the EGym
Love the variety of classes and activities especially outings!
Everyone is very helpful and friendly and it’s always clean in there
Each member of the staff shows their concern and offers to help if needed. They are very kind, considerate, and go out of their way to make sure that all my needs are met . I give them a 101% excellence. They are all awesome! ❤️🙋♀️
I focus on spinning and egym. I appreciate the group fitness schedule on the YMCA fitness app to keep me informed.
