I've been a member for many years. I usually use the Pool. I've met so many people everytime I go. The Staff is Wonderful. I feel like Family when I'm there. Please keep up the Great YMCA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤️

No because there are instructors that only want seasoned members in their classes and do not train, encourage or help a new member do better. It is my understanding that the Y is to reach new members and train them to be better but does not happen at this Y.
I would never encourage a new member to join this Y.

I am swimming at the Hernando YMCA while the Citrus Co YMCA pool is being renovated. The Hernando staff was very welcoming, and gave us a tour on our first visit. The locker room is modern and clean and well maintained. I enjoy swimming under the stars in the evening.

I enjoy what the Y has to offer and it is a great way to connect with others in the area. It is particularly helpful as the community I live in does not have activities to help me connect with others in my community. I really appreciate the Y and plan to increase my activities there.

I like the friendliness and staff is always very helpful.

I think there needs to be way more staff for the child care area. I also think they need to be a bit more friendly. They always seem flustered and overwhelmed. Most days I feel that they are annoyed with my baby.

I would definitely recommend the YMCA to anyone. It’s a great place to exercise and have some community interactions. I love the pool. I wish they would increase their tai chi classes.

The fitness center is a bit warm/hot and it would be nicer if it was cooler. I would love for the AC to be turned up more. Also, it would be great it the weights for the plate loaded machines were organized a little bit more - they tend to be all over the place and different weights are all stacked together.

There are not enough daytime classes. Too crowded.

I bodied while camping in Hernando County. I live in Pasco. I was very impressed with the facility as well as the staff.

The instructors are very knowledgable and the facilities are super clean.

We're visitimg from Minnesota; easy sign up under silver sneakers. Beautiful facility.

I really like the gym circuit! But also like the heavy bags you have - a lot of gyms don't have those and I really enjoy the workout I get on it. And, there's just so much that's offered - it's hard to name them all. It's a great place to stay active!

Some friends are more isolated than others, some have great losses and I really think it would help if they are around others,that encourages an show them to relax talk, smile be happy 😊

I have always enjoyed being a part of the YMCA. I was a member for about 10 years before this round at the James P Gills YMCA in New Port Richey. I look forward to my families future at the YMCA.

We are members through our Silver Sneakers benefit. Otherwise, we probably would not have joined because of price.

Too many handicapped parking spots. It was very crowded when we went (10:30-11ish), so we weren't able to use most of the equipment that we wanted to. We'll try a different time.

It felt very disjointed. Skill level was all over the place. One coach was having to chase a child around who needed 1:1 support leaving the other kids short handed. I wish that there was more lessons on how to play. Coach was nice but because everything he didn’t build much rapport with the kids. We ended up not finishing out the season because Andre’s wouldn’t even go out on the court after the second time. We also were disappointed to have “team” photos but it was only us. I know we were on different teams but all of that class and coaches should have been together. Expensive for what was provided.
