For building relationships and learning skills and sportsmanship , having 😊 fun
The hours are not long enough. Especially for the price.
You need to build an Aquatic Center. Built for a swim tram and events.also includes family lounging and playing.
I have suggested to friends to come try us out, even as a guest.
Because of it’s convenience equipment
the best place to share outdoors
Some instructors are not friendly and very old so the expectation is different for a younger person. They forget that some people actually pay for the membership and is NOT FREE. So for that reason I wouldn’t recommend because of some instructors.
Very upset you no longer have a kettlebell class!
If you have insurance that will cover the cost, I'd say "Yeah join". The people who work there are great. The trainers are great. If you have to pay out of pocket I would say that there are cheaper options. Like even for people who are low income. It says on their website that they help people with an inability to pay. Back when I had literally no income (waiting on disability) they said the lowest they could do was $25 a month. How is that helping people with an inability to pay when Planet Fitness is only $10 a month at full price?
It is also a little weird that everyone is standing when you walk in, now. It never used to be like that. Such a weird recent change. Like why aren't the old ladies who volunteer allowed to sit? And why does the Facebook page never post about events until like the day they are happening or well after they have already happened. Or even weirder when they posted about the September 11th thing at the beginning of June with a disclaimer that said "after July the price will go up".... the price for the free shirt??? Like the timing of announcements of events is really weird. And the pricing of things is also really weird. Idk I love the people (employees, volunteers, members, trainers, etc everyone is awesome and helpful and everything ). But the policies make little sense. Also they are really pushing this Egym stuff which is weird because the normal non digital equipment (weights, trx, machines, etc) works just fine and has for decades.
Great variety of activities to chose from
Complete Gym plus pool, various rooms for other physical activities, friendly helpful staff, showers, lockers, restrooms, everything just first class.
The YMCA offered a lot more in a membership then a regular gym.
I would definitely recommend the YMCA to my friends and family
Always clean and staff are always helpful.
As someone who does no exercise I enjoy being able to use the egym. I can focus on the exercise without having to worry if I’m doing too little or too much. The locker rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. So far I’ve taken one HIIT class and it was no joke, it definitely was an intense workout.
E-gym and other equipment are well maintained. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly
Dusty did an excellent job showing me around and explaining how to use the equipment.
Very friendly staff
We need more subs for our Zumba classes.
Improve the coffee/refreshments area
Significant changes to the facility and staff have been tremendous. The new gym equipment is great and the addition of the E-gym is great for the older crowd. Everyone has been just fantastic.
I love the classes at my YMCA! Barbara and Stacy in the morning both rock!
We rely heavily on the app for schedules and classes. The app never shows when lifeguards are in training and the pool is closed. The app never shows when camp kids are doing swim testing. The app doesn’t show when any kids are swim testing. So we show up to the pool for lap swim and find out the lanes aren’t even available or that the pool is closed for lifeguard training. Please do a better job in adding specifics to the app so that nobody wastes gas to drive there, having to turn around. Also, please clean the pool more. There’s always wrappers, food, bugs and hair in it.
It’s so busy during the day it’s hard to get into morning classes and seems the emptiest times are late afternoon to get on equipment and equipment is so crowded together
I would definitely recommend the Y to others. I enjoy the classes that I’m taking. I work full time and wish I had more class options on Saturday or in the evening.
I told a few people to join it’s a great person to be at. It’s great to meet new people especially if your retired
