Additional Comments / Overall Experience - EGM has provided professional construction services from electrical, plumbing. Tile installation, to grouting. Every tradesman was an expert in his specialty plus they were always customer friendly, e. g., plastic covered everything and floor runners everywhere. They were police, courteous, trustworthy, and considerate at all times while installing a new shower and kitchen counter.

Project Manager Knowledge & Accessibility

Project Manager Knowledge & Accessibility - Edgar is a fantastic Project Manager. He was always available to take calls and frequently made project visits to go over details and keep things on track. He did a great job with keeping things on schedule and working with the building inspectors. Edgar was always very professional and friendly.

Communication

Communication - Communication from everyone at EGM was well above my expectations. This really sets them apart from other contractors.

Recognized Excellence - Edgar is awesome. Leslie and Diana were great at keeping us updated with when to expect the crews and who would be at our house every day. Toni and Raul did a great job with the drywall. I don’t remember the names of the tile guys, but they did a really incredible job with the shower.

Scheduling

Scheduling - I received emails, text messages, and phone calls and site visits on a regular basis. We not only knew exactly when everyone was going to show up and they always showed up on time, they always sent us reminder text messages or emails and sometimes even phone calls reminding us that their people were going to be in at a specific time on a specific day.

Recognized Excellence - Jiovanni and Kenny made sure there was a tarp down on the floors and stairs and worked very quietly. They were awesome. They did a beautiful job and I am very happy with it.

Additional Comments / Overall Experience - I found EGM through Google reviews and contacted them for a quote based on all the great reviews. I wanted to add a standing shower to my laundry room to make the laundry room more functional for guests. Edgar came out to discuss what I needed and he provided me with an estimate during our meeting. I felt very comfortable with Edgar and appreciated his knowledge of what was needed and his professionalism. I’ve done several remodels and builds in the past so I had a general sense of what my project would cost me. I had also gotten a rough estimate from a contractor I worked with in the past prior to meeting with Edgar. Although Edgar’s estimate came out higher, I felt that it was still reasonable. It was more important for me to work with someone that is professional, reliable, licensed, insured and does quality work rather than just basing my decision on the best price quoted. I knew after meeting with Edgar that I wanted to work with EGM so I started the process the next day to pull permits. After permits were issued, EGM was able to quickly complete the project in 4 weeks, just in time for my deadline to complete before family arrived for the holiday. The office communicated with me daily on what was going to happen the next day and who would be showing up to do the specified job. Edgar was always quick to respond to any questions He always made himself available when needed and I was always able to reach him anytime throughout the project. I was very impressed by Edgar, his entire team at the office and the employees he had on the job. There were a couple minor hiccups along the way but Edgar always pulled through with a solution. It is evident that Edgar loves what he does and understands the importance of exceptional customer service and providing the best experience possible. What also stood out during the project is how his crew cleaned up every day at the end of their work day. I never felt stressed from living in a home that was having construction done. His crew left the job site clean every day, something I’ve never experienced with any other contractors. I really appreciated their care and consideration. I would highly recommend EGM and plan to work with them again in the future. I feel lucky to have come across EGM through Google reviews and am thankful for a wonderful experience!
