The team did a great job setting up our complicated solar battery upgrade.

I started the process in October, and it was finished in July. It was a pretty big windows to get part installed due to wrong parts ordered. The only reason I did not give a five was the time it took to get fully installed.

Easy to work with. Professional. Took down the old system and stacked the old panels neatly. Crew was prompt, friendly and completed the install quickly. Issues were handled by the install manager promptly.

Responsive, professional, took a lot of time getting the design correct, enthusiastic build team, owner made himself available throughout along with project manager. Very happy with end result.

I did a lot of research for roof top solar. I learned much, including that the installation company is equal in importance to the quality of the solar equipment. E2 had all in-house personnel, including the electrician! There was NO subcontracting work done. The solar equipment I chose was Enphase micro-inverters and REC panels, which have an incredible warranty. E2 offered a 10-year warranty on their work. It is nice to know that most likely E2 will be around to respond to any needs I may have. It is scary knowing I would have people on my new roof making penetrations for mounting panels and also in my attic routing wires. Here in Central Oregon we don’t have many installers to choose from. The municipal inspector made the comment that E2 is a top performer and so did the electrical company’s person who did my meter conversion. I hope my experience helps other residential owners in their solar adventure.

This is the second time I’ve used E2 solar for solar panels. Somehow they did not turn on the solar panels so for two months my panels were not producing energy.

Everything leading up to the project finish was great. I was informed about the progress and they were responsive with my questions. ne the project was finished, and I powered up the system, the communication dropped off. I was informed that I would receive warranty information and a manual 'n the near future.' I haven't seen that info (it's been about 2 1/2 weeks). Also, i was told that I would receive a follow up call about my montoriing portal, and I had sent over some questions regarding that and I never heard anything back at all. So, basically, once the system was up and running there was zero post install support.

My journey to selecting a solar contractor included communicating with most installers in central Oregon. Ultimately I chose E2 because they offered what I felt was the most comprehensive and thoughtful plan for my solar array. They helped address my size/location/performance questions and also offered a couple choices in panel manufacturer. I believe you get what you pay for. Overall cost was slightly higher than some and cheaper than others. I think that's a good place to end up.

E2 is/was a local company with high integrity and a good ethic. It has been sold, so I hope those characteristics carry forward with the new owner.

Incredibly poor communications. They never tried to understand what I wanted - they just wanted to see me stuff.

We were very pleased with almost everything in our experience with E2 Solar providing us with a solar panel system. The only glitch was that quite often, they were impossible to reach by phone.

E2 Solar was far more professional than a competitor I had look at my project. They helped me find green energy financing and worked directly with that lender.

They have deep experience in Bend. They use their own installers and electricians.if you have a problem, they will help.

We cannot really understand why someone would use anyone else, judging from our experience with E2 Solar and the experiences of other folks in our neighborhood with other companies.

I have worked on projects with installers all over the state and E2 is one of the best: great communication and responsiveness, they use the best panels and solar components available, they are totally local and we love that they are a woman-owned business and employ people of color. The world gets better each time they do their work!

Good company and very professional except for install. Took longer than what we were scheduled for as our project seemed to fall through the cracks in scheduling.

The people at E2 Solar were knowledgable and worked together well to complete our solar installation. They completed the project ahead of time, with no fuss or muss, and let us know what was coming. Having them handle all the permits and rebates made it really easy for us. And the results are exactly what we'd hoped for...we're generating lots of clean electricity every day.
