The customer service is terrible. Half of my panels quit working and I had to leave Josh multiple voice mails and emails to get any response. He said he "couldn't be sure" but he thought the utility company had "floated a neutral", said that others in my area had similar issues, and inquired whether I or my neighbors had lost appliances in a power surge. He said in such an instance, the power inverters were not going to be covered by warranty. I replied that no, I hadn't lost any appliances. I then remembered my homeowners insurance sent me a Ting device which monitors electrical current in my home (intended for the prevention of electrical fires). I looked in the historical data on the app for the device and found no anomalies. I sent Josh this data. I don't think he liked being caught in his lie. He stopped responding to me and then randomly one day a couple of months later I got to call from a repair crew at DPI that they were at my house to fix the panels. I was at work but was about to leave, so it worked out. DPI solar is not good about communicating with customers for repair or scheduling purposes. And I did not appreciate that Josh tried to lie to get out of covering replacement faulty inverters. I enjoy having solar panels but I would definitely steer people away from DPI solar and towards another company if asked.

Fast, efficient, and clean install. Fast response to any issues and/or questions.

Every member of the DPI team was amazing. They really worked around our schedule. Bryan went out of his way to help prep our house for the solar install which was amazing. Then the installation crew got our install completed quickly and professionally. Then Erik met with me to go over the system. Our schedules kept changing so it was very helpful that DPI was so accommodating. Great quality of work, amazing company, and wonderful experience.

DPI Solar is incredibly detail-oriented. For someone like myself, I appreciate that in their professionalism.

This is my second go with solar and the difference between DPI and the folks I used last time is leagues different. DPI was, and remains, completely professional and competent taking time to really explain what is and would be happening through process as well as really honestly educating people about what one can expect and how things actually work. Not just a superficial sales pitch, like, “get this system and never pay for electricity again” kind of rhetoric. They will truly help you decide whether a system is right for you and what size system would be the best bang for buck. I can say that 4 months in - well, put it like this - in my all electric house (no natural gas) pre solar I was looking at a February electric bill north of $400. Last month was $12. So, you be the judge. Furthermore, they won’t ghost you after the sale like my last experience, they continue to respond, answer questions and monitor the health of my system as they do for all of their clients.

DPI presented the best thought out proposal for our site. Rather than just accept the computer generated design, Josh tinkered and twisted, and came up with a much better option for our roof. He was very knowledgeable about the different panels that were available, and gave us specific reasons for his choice. The installation was flawless! The team was a well-oiled machine that really knew their stuff. Our home was respected and was left even more clean and tidy than when they arrived. After installation we had a session with Erik to learn the ins and outs of the system. Follow up questions have been quickly and thoroughly answered. I would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone!

I interviewed several solar companies and DPI listed to what I wanted. They worked within my budget and stayed on time. The were also very accommodating to run the wire inside my house. Thank you! I am very happy to be relying on solar power.

There was no follow through with the referral fee that I asked about repeatedly, for the person who recommended dpi to us, without this referral we would not have gone with dpi.

DPI Solar was able to present the best solution and service during and after the project.

DPI, an IBEW union contractor, was absolutely great in every detail. From the bidding process to installation they were on top of all details involved.

In fact I already have recommended DPI...a friend of mine met with Mark a few weeks ago.
