People were nice and good quality product.

We had Closet America install built-in bookcases, office desks and a bench with file drawers underneath a bay window in our study room. The whole process took place December of 2025 (design) to March of 2026 (installation). The finished job is beautiful even though the process was so long. We adore the bookcases and desks. Our biggest hurdle was getting the bench top over the built-in file drawers underneath the bay window. Closet America did stipulate in their contract that they would not do the last step of making the bench top. I didn't realize that the last step was so difficult. We were left to find ourselves an expert finishing carpenter to custom-tailor cut the trapezoidal pieces for the bench top. The difficulty was made apparent when it took the expert finishing carpenter five attempts, going back and forth to saw and re-saw the correct angles to properly cut the trapezoidal pieces. We are very grateful that without an extra charge Closet America supplied the pieces for the bench top, but if they could have recommended an expert finishing carpenter to complete the last step, we would have appreciated it. In all, we enjoy our finished study room and appreciate Closet America's cooperation along the way.

I am very disappointed with the way I’ve been treated by Closet America. I’ve completed previous projects with your company and was extremely satisfied, but this experience has been the opposite. My calls and emails went unanswered, and I’ve had ongoing difficulty reaching anyone by phone. The level of customer service provided has been unacceptable. It feels as though once the sale was made, my concerns no longer mattered. Additionally, the installers informed me that payment was required upfront before installation, which was completely unexpected.

The whole experience from quickly setting up the initial consultation, the care the designer put into the project, the second measurement to ensure proper fit and instillation process was impressive.

Good quality. But too expensive

I always standing in my closet not knowing what to wear because half of my clothes are in boxes, with this new closet upgrade, I’m now able to see what I have in a quick glance, making clothes wearing selection process much easier and I can optimize my outfit. I’m so happy I upgraded my closet with closet America! The quality is phenomenal!

My first experience with closet America was amazing! My most recent experience was not as good. There were several mistakes made by the installers. Installers placing my bookshelves on the wrong wall, covering over outlets that were to remain uncovered via design plans, installers asking questions that should have been included in the notes from the designer.

I liked that when we had an issue with the design Closet America quickly took steps to correct our issues.

The pricing is not for everyone.

Incorrect measurements in the laundry room and still missing parts. It was a two-day job, so not really sure why we ended up with missing parts - a cabinet handle and the metal holders for a couple closet shelves.

Excellent design and installation. We are very pleased that we had our closet redone and that we used Closet America.

The initial process didn't leave a good impression from the door to door solicitation and the radio silence when I tried to cancel my contract. It took almost a year to resolve considering I'd paid a deposit.

Very easy company to work with. Customer service is excellent. Products are functional and pleasing to the eye.
