Originally called Safeway Safety Step, LLC, CleanCut was founded by Don Stafford. As a 37-year retired veteran of the City of Cincinnati Fire Department, Don had identified firsthand the need for easier access to enter and exit the bathtub area.
Don had a vision to create simple access to existing bathtubs without having to remove the tub and perform a costly bathroom remodel. Don applied for and was successfully awarded a U.S. Patent for his innovative process and product.
Today, CleanCut is second-generation family business that continues to develop innovative accessibility products. Our products have been installed for homeowners, assisted living and senior living residences, state and local social programs and hospitality properties throughout the United States.

I wasn’t aware there would be a lip on the inside of the tub and be more dangerous then it was before making the change.

He was extremely courteous, took his time to explain to me what was being done, and the expected outcome. .Everything was achieved and done in a timely manner..I will definitely recommend your services to others who would be interested in this type of upgrade for their own safety..

I liked the quick response to my inquiry. All methods of communication was used and very timely. The use of texting and sending pictures to help with the estimating and part was efficient. The scheduling was very fast and unexpected. Overall, I would was very pleased with the process, installer and quality of part/installation.

Additional Comments - Kudos to the rep Taylor who kept me in the loop of the entire process and the installer, Shawn, for he was very professional and clear with his explanation of the installation, wait period before use, quality of the part, and warranty details. He's a keeper!

Manny was absolutely great. He was careful to explain everything prior to starting the job. When he was finished he had me look at what he had done and it was unbelievable. He left the room just as clean as could be. We have absolutely no complaints on what he did. We are more than happy with the work.

Additional Comments - I would recommend this alternative to tub to step in showers that cost so much money, for those who can't afford a new bathroom at this time. Manny did a great job.

Everyone was great to work with! I had a number of questions but the person I talked to answered all of them. When Steve came to our home to do the work he was lovely to work with - he was very professional, patient, respectful, knowledgeable and did great work. It went smoothly and was finished in 3 1/2 hours with everything cleaned up nicely! I've already sent pictures to friends and will recommend this to others I know who have aging parents that they are helping or who could use it themselves!

Additional Comments - The final result is beautiful and will make the tub/shower so much easier for my parents to use. It was such an easy change with such long lasting rewards. Steve was a great worker and I'd send him to work anywhere!

We never realized just how much we needed this product.. Noone wants to admitt that they are getting old, I've been i. This house for over 20 years .. I'm close to retirement .. it was time to correct this issue, (stepping over the knee high tub wall )
