Originally called Safeway Safety Step, LLC, CleanCut was founded by Don Stafford. As a 37-year retired veteran of the City of Cincinnati Fire Department, Don had identified firsthand the need for easier access to enter and exit the bathtub area.
Don had a vision to create simple access to existing bathtubs without having to remove the tub and perform a costly bathroom remodel. Don applied for and was successfully awarded a U.S. Patent for his innovative process and product.
Today, CleanCut is second-generation family business that continues to develop innovative accessibility products. Our products have been installed for homeowners, assisted living and senior living residences, state and local social programs and hospitality properties throughout the United States.

JJ Stafford did an amazing job for us. We had 2 tubs that needed CleanCut inserts. JJ came on time and explained the whole process. He set up his tools outside and then carefully measured so the inserts would be in the ideal location next to the grab bars. Then, once he finished, he left everything clean and tidy and the new inserts work great! The lower step is a miracle for getting into and out of the tub, we can stay independent for many more years, and CleanCut saved us so much money and hassle since now we don’t need a shower renovation, we highly recommend JJ and ClesnCut!

From the first call to the installer completed the installation, it was no less than fantastic. The installed fully explained what he was going to do. His work was so clean and fast. After it was complete, he explained the process of installing and removing the insert. He was very clean in the area he was working. The communication prior to and after was excellent. They were in touch we me daily prior to the installation date. It was only three days after the sale, that it was installed. I highly recommend Clean Cut Bathtub.

Additional Comments - Had this Patented Tub to Shower Conversion installed for my 95 year old Mother-In-Law. From the very first phone call to inquire, to the time we said goodbye to Sean (our expert Installer) it was an absolute pleaser dealing with CleanCut. Extremely Cost Effective, FAST, and making the selection of which model was a breeze as Sean guided us on the choices. Looks good, does the job of a tub to shower conversion in the fastest, MOST AFFORDIBLE Way! Blew away anything else we looked at and were quoted on (by many thousands of dollars). They reminded me of the “Old School” Companies and Craftsman from my youth. Product is American Made and Sean displayed extreme competences, courtesy and of course old school Craftsmanship. Not a speck of dust or debris anywhere when finished. If you are looking for the most cost effective and affordable conversion that looks great. Call them!

The installation was as promised, done very professionally by an obviously well trained, experienced and very pleasant gentleman, timely, clean up excellent and given instructions tor use and follow up if needed. The appearance of conversion does not diminish look of my bathroom in any way. I am glad I chose to have the installation done by Clean Cut itself.

Additional Comments - The installer name Chris arrived on time and explained the entire process. The installed took about two hours and I am so pleased. I can now step in my tub without feeling like struggling to get in or out due to my disability with my left leg. If you are having a hard time getting in and out of your tub call them. I also think the price was reasonable.

Installer cancelled the first time bc his vehicle broke down. Rescheduled for a week later. Cut was on a 1960s cast iron tub. Iron filings EVERYWHERE, putting rust stains on toilet base, toilet seat, flooring, caulk, tub interior, grout lines.. Awful mess that took me hours just to make the bathroom marginally functional.Have to recaulk; replace toilet seat; toilet appears permanently stained. Haven't tried to clean up the tub itself yet with CLR but it didn't work on the (1 year old) toilet. There's even dark smudges on the new tubcut. Nice kid but "done in a couple hours"? Maybe for you, but not for the consumer.

Manny was great at explaining everything from installation to using the product, answering my questions, and generally a really pleasant young man. I highly recommend a CleanCut option over a full tub to shower remodel. I can now get in and out of the tub easily and safer without having to do a full, expensive remodel.

Additional Comments - The Clean cut company has products to convert your tub to a walk through. combine their product with a tub transfer tub seat by others and you have a safer way to get in and out of the bathtub. JJ did a wonderful install and the office staff was very friendly and informative. Give them a call for a safer way to use your existing bathtub. I am so thankful I found the company from edwin sandel callahan fl.
