Since our founding in Clearwater, the YMCA of the Suncoast has grown from its first facility in 1965 to its newest in Citrus County in May 2016. At the time it opened, the Clearwater YMCA was one of the largest YMCAs in the country. In more than 60 years, our footprint has not just grown, but flourished and made an impact on the communities we serve, especially in youth development. In the ‘80s, we introduced before- and after-school child care to our service areas. Today, we guide more than 60 school-age programs in your elementary and middle schools. Hide

The pool water temperature is too cold for most of the seniors. I would send my friends to another pool which is actually heated.

I have been a member of the Y for the past 10 years and it has been a sheer joy & delight! I am in better physical shape now than when I was 40 years old. What would be not to love!

Is there a way to make the fitness center cooler? It gets so hot on sunny days. The sun beats down through those southern windows. Either curtains, more fans, lower thermostat setting. Or all of the above! 😁

I like the Silver Sneakers classes. All instructors are good. Im 73 and have belonged to the Y for 9 months. I wish I had started sooner in my life. Im glad so much is offered for all ages. Thanks.

Pool water is always cold. Wheel chair parking is too far away from doors making it difficult for seniors with disabilities

Can't stand seeing the crap Trump bus at all. There should be nothing political at the Y. If I get any derogatory remarks like I have in the past I will knock that person out. I don't appreciate anyone calling me a fag.

The Body Pump class is phenomenal .Stacey and Amy are the best. Stacey goes out of her way to make sure all of the classes are covered. She teaches a majority of the classes and I believe she should be rewarded for it. She goes above and beyond. A huge thank to Stacey. More instructors for body pump are needed.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, the facility is very clean and well maintained. Ever since I joined I have always felt welcomed, going to the Y is like to me visiting your extended family.

This facility is wonderful. The only issue I have is the parking lot. The spots directly across from the front door should be handicap spots. There needs to be a shuttle running throughout the lot from 7 to 11 a.m. I cannot fully utilize my membership because I do not have the mobility to navigate the entire lot.
