The facility is clean, bright, well maintained and equipped with a variety of exercise equipment.
Friendly staff, easy membership process, provided with lots of written info and how to connect to app. Only negative is parking can be an issue at times as this is a very active facility and, ofc, population continues to increase.
You have a very welcoming staff and an inviting en.
Nice facility very well run.
NICE PLACE
The classes are great and being able to swim year round is perfect
It's very clean , and friendly place, Opens early is a great plus
Cleanliness, variety of exercise options, no additional charges for group exercise classes
Facility was very clean and orderly. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Many fun activities to become involved with.
I love the child care and the teen center. I love how clean the ymca always is. I wish we had more open areas in the wellness center for people to use for dumbbell work. There is not a lot of area for people to take the dumbbells and work out alone.
Everyone is welcoming and professional.
There is not enough space for several of the morning Silver Sneakers classes. If you don't sign up within 10 minutes of when classes open up for sign up, then you will not get in the class. You are forcing the class instructors to police the number of people joining the class. That is not his/her job. There is currently a non-paid volunteer taking roll at the door for class entry. The Y management team needs to address/manage these problems. It is causing hard feelings and chaos every morning in the Silver Sneakers class. The Y should consider offering more classes in the afternoon when space is available. The Y has more members than facilities to accommodate them. Hire more instructors! The large number of class participants is causing issues with the availability of equipment, weights/hula hoops, balls, etc. These are all rather straightforward problems that need to be addressed as the Y continues to add new members.
Good equpment clean
I have lived in citrus county for many years. Ive heard good thinks about the Y, but felt it wasnt something I would like. I always felt it was catered more towards kids.
How wrong I was! I was so impressed with the classes, pool, activities and your gym it blew me away!! The members are all ages, I love it!! Thank you!!

The opening of nearby competition will continue to challenge the YMCA. The facility is lacking certain amenities that a younger demographic is seeking in a gym. The Y of course intends to be more than a gym for a community, but for members that are simply looking for a good, local gym... membership will continue to decrease. That's good for a less crowded gym in the mornings, but also questions the value proposition of the Y compared to competitors.
The YMCA is more than a gym. It is a fitness place that welcomes people and offers health sessions and other programs to make us better. The programs such as Y Reads and others work to improve literacy in children as well. So many programs that make our community healthier in body, mind, and spirit are a large part of the Y. Our community is better for having a YMCA here..
The monthly cost is very high for what is being provided. The gym is too small and crowded to enjoy, but the biggest issue I have is that this location caters it's group fitness schedules to retirees. There are very few classes that are available at or after 6:00 pm, where a working individual can attend. For example, the Thursday evening Zumba class was one of the few evening classes available, but was recently removed from the schedule.
There are all kinds of things to do at the Y. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, ready to help find a solution. There are many different classes offered throughout the week addressing many different issues. A very comfortable environment.
There is not enough room in Body a pump classes. There needs to be more class times available.
Beautiful, well maintained facility
I like everything about the Y.
Parking access terrible, way to busy and noisy
Recommended for my grandson who was home for college break. His mother got him some type of membership.
The friendliness of the staff!!
I already attended some fun classes and feel very welcome at the pickle ball classes for beginners!!! Those classes arr the highlight of my weeks!
