It is a great way for children to explore multiple different sports in a non-pressure way.
Good variety of gym equipment. Morgan on Saturday morning is an awesome zumba teacher.
Personal training
Great staff, lots of activities :)
Safe and friendly and clean
The Plum YMCA has sauna. It will be better if this location has one as well.
The Moms Get Strong class with Vanessa is the best!
No one seems to know anything at the front desk about classes or instructors. And when I try to get clarity the attitude is I should just go away, look at the website and leave them alone to do nothing but greet members as they come in.
Compassionate, patient, understanding.
Some classes are great. Some are not very organized. Like homeschool pe on Monday. The regular teacher Dosen't do anything with them. When theres a sub its a great class.
The instructor was terrible no instruction she acted lost my son didn’t even want to come back he was bored
Great equipment and classes. Firendly staff. Good hours. Clean facility
Lately the staff at the Kid Zone have been very organized, professional and vigilant. A year or so ago the process for checking kids in/out and letting them in/out of the gate and door was very haphazard and did not instill a lot of confidence. Weve been going regularly since November 2025 and the process has been so much tighter. Thank you!
excellent staff, clean and full of happy people!
I do not make recommendations to people about anything.
Comments:
I’ve recently had two wonderful interactions with aquatic staff (and unfortunately, one that I’m trying to forget.)
Also, hoping that the hair dryer in the men’s locker room will be operational again soon—seems like it’s been out of order for months and months.
The staff are always helpful and courteous.
Equipment is always available as there's so many stations
It’s to difficult to find a parking spot after 6pm. I have yet to get someone to explain some of the equipment.
More disable bathing stalls
The sole reason we have a membership is for access to swimming lessons. Very few options for private levels available for higher levels. Waking up at 5am to try to sign up and even then often can’t get a time. Then when we do, they are canceled frequently with no notice. We arrive, my daughter gets in suit and showers, head out only to find out the teacher isn’t there. We started asking front desk upon arrival and they never know. We even started calling ahead so we don’t waste an hour of our time, and it’s hard to even get the call picked up by Briggs and when we get through they just tell us they think the lesson is still on but don’t actually confirm. They give us credits to our account upon me emailing requesting this. The hoops I go through on my end, plus the tremendous cost, only for it to work out on rare occasion is tremendously disappointing. This has been an ongoing problem for about a year now despite polite suggestions to simply notify families of cancellations.
Only complaint is the times the kid zone is open. I wish there was a buffer from when the classes end and the childcare closes. It’s always chaos trying to get a kid from a youth experience program and get the others from the kid zone at the same time. Another example, the kid zone closes at 1pm, and I never get to stretch at the end of my noon barre class. Give a 10-minute buffer on the hour it closes.
kind people, diversity in members -- age, race, ethnicity, languages, abilities
Very clean and plenty of parking. Only issue is that for weeks now, the swim suit wringer has been broken.
Totally a wonderful experience! Friendly and helpful staff. Workout on your own or join a class, it's the place to be!!
