They use high quality materials that are built to last and the installer we had was very good at his craft and able to work around hidden problems and correct them correctly and with skill.

I would tell a friend who installed my walk-in shower but it was very expensive and to shop around, which I didn't.

I loved the initial Customer Service as well as the speed in which the job was completed. The installers were non intrusive and quite professional.

instead of pushing your installers to install a bath in two days, allow them more time to spend on making a quality install.

The workmanship was excellent. We let Rich know we had a 40 gallon hot water tank in the beginning. The company has been in business over 40 years, they had to know a 40 gallon tank would be inadequate. After the first attempt to fill the tub, it was obvious that our tank was too small. We let Rich know and we were told American home design was working on a solution. After a month and no resolution Jason came over. He promised to get back to us the next day. We have never heard back from him. Another month went by and I called the office again extremely unhappy. I don’t remember the ladies name my husband spoke with. The only solution was to purchase a tank less. Why we’re not told this from the beginning!

Professional, adhered to construction schedule. They were very conscientious of keeping construction dirt and dust contained and protected our floors. They cleaned up everything in the yard after they were done.

This is the third project we have used American home design. We couldn't be happier with them.

Excellent quality

Love the new shower and it made it so easy to get in and out without falling

We tried our walk in shower for the first time last night and found 3 things that we don't like but am sure there isn't anything to correct the situation. It just seems what it is; is what it is. Sadly. The water pressure is only about half of what we had in our tub shower is #1. The second thing we immediately realized was that the floor of our walk in tub is very slippery and sadly we will need to purchase a mat to stand on. We just don't feel that the $15 K we spend on this was worth it and therefore, cannot in all good conscience recommend a Jacuzzi Walk in Shower to our friends.

Salesman was very knowledgeable and provided all the information I needed to make my decision.

Price point

AHD was quick. Done in 2 days except for the glass doors. I was told that they would bring a tension rod for a shower curtain, but it did not happen. Small inconvenience. The people were very nice and worked hard to finish.

I didn’t check any other places so I don’t know about the price I paid. I feel like it was very high. But I’m very happy with the results and feel like I have a very good product.

Excellent experience. Purchased one low threshold shower.. and liked it so much purchased a second shower 6 months later. Daryl the salesman was honest and knowledgeable. Installer did both showers and was great. Worked to prevent 3 cats from escaping.

Cost comparison. I did not receive my 50% off installation. Considering the installation team even if I didn’t qualify for 50% off installation the cost comparison was no where near competitive current market price.

5 days after installation had ants crawling all over in the front room . they saw we had ants and still installed the window over the situation so they were aware there was a problem right from the start.
