Love the new shower and it made it so easy to get in and out without falling

We tried our walk in shower for the first time last night and found 3 things that we don't like but am sure there isn't anything to correct the situation. It just seems what it is; is what it is. Sadly. The water pressure is only about half of what we had in our tub shower is #1. The second thing we immediately realized was that the floor of our walk in tub is very slippery and sadly we will need to purchase a mat to stand on. We just don't feel that the $15 K we spend on this was worth it and therefore, cannot in all good conscience recommend a Jacuzzi Walk in Shower to our friends.

Price point

AHD was quick. Done in 2 days except for the glass doors. I was told that they would bring a tension rod for a shower curtain, but it did not happen. Small inconvenience. The people were very nice and worked hard to finish.

I didn’t check any other places so I don’t know about the price I paid. I feel like it was very high. But I’m very happy with the results and feel like I have a very good product.

Excellent experience. Purchased one low threshold shower.. and liked it so much purchased a second shower 6 months later. Daryl the salesman was honest and knowledgeable. Installer did both showers and was great. Worked to prevent 3 cats from escaping.

After researching numerous companies my wife and I decided to go with the Jacuzzi brand and American Home Design for a bathtub to walk-in shower conversion. We couldn't be happier with this choice. The initial meeting at our home was what sold us on American Home Design. Michael was extremely helpful in answering all our questions and explaining all the options and features and unlike some sales people you could really tell he believed in the products and what he was selling. While waiting for the products to arrive, the folks at American Home Design kept us updated.
Installation day arrives and here comes CAMERON. My wife and I are in our 60's and have been involved with many contractors and salesmen but no one has impressed us as much as CAMERON. His attention to detail and overall workmanship was top notch. He constantly involved my wife and I through the entire process and wound up leaving the entire work area cleaner than before he started.
We could not be happier with choosing American Home Design and especially having CAMERON as our installer.

Everything went just like we were told it would. It did take longer than 1 day, but I’d rather have it done right then fast.

Nathan & Jordan were very thorough in preparing my home for the work to be done to minimize the mess tearing out the old tub was going to make! They had drop cloths everywhere all the way to the door to the bathroom & also over the vanity. They were careful carrying the materials in & out. They made sure my door was closed after each & every trip in & out my home. They stayed on task from the time they arrived to the time they left. They had to take all of the stuff I had on the walls down so nothing would be jarred from the walls. Then they put all of it back exactly where it all belonged!
They were very respectful with me!
