I would like to recommend Stateson Homes to any of my friends and family. They made the process really easy and transparent in every part of the construction and delivery of the townhouse.

I would recommend Stateson since the professional and knowledgeable staff has been a pleasure to work with. Also, the construction quality for a new home in this price range seems quite good, the process is well explained, and schedules are met. The variety of material and color selections is very good.

Everything went smoothly, everything was great quality, and the house was built right on time.

They architectural designs are terrific. Craftsmanship in construction ranges from excellent to mediocre, depending on the tradesman you get. Warranty execution warrants a 3 out of 5. DO NOT SIGN paperwork unless work is COMPLETED satisfactorily.

The entire experience was relatively pleasant. As complicated buy a new home can be any situations that arose were handled quite well.

The overall home is very well designed and generally well constructed; however, the build process feels rushed. The quality would be significantly improved if trades were allowed (and expected) to take more pride in their work rather than pushing toward a completion date. Electrical and plumbing work are outstanding, and the HVAC system is solid. In contrast, framing quality is inconsistent, and the trim and paint work are notably sloppy. Slowing the pace slightly and tightening quality control on finish work would make a meaningful difference.

Staff is very courteous and welcoming. Well designed homes, the build process is efficient, and finished on time (which is a real bonus). Free design consultation was really helpful in selecting flooring, cabinets, finishes within the items and levels offered. Interactions with the sales manager was quite positive and really helped us make a decision to move forward with a purchase. The commitment to quality homes has been demonstrated at their followup on the 45 days.

Quality and service

The most important aspect of our experience was that, although we approached the purchase with understandable anxiety, unsure at which stage we might encounter difficulties as foreigners ( we are from Turkey, and the house is for our son studying at VT), every phase of the process progressed smoothly in a way that reassured us and never made us feel like outsiders. That sense of confidence and ease throughout ultimately made the entire experience a truly happy one for us.

We have had a host of more significant issues with our house and yard since day one. While response was quick initially it still took multiple visits to address the same issue because the repair was not done well. Fortunately, we are now working with Jasen and he is addressing all of our issues in a timely manner AND he is personally making sure the repair is done right.

The entire process kept us completely informed and knowledge of every step.

The process was straightforward, everyone was transparent and honest, and I felt genuinely valued as a customer and soon-to-be member of the Town Center.

I was kept informed throughout the process, questions encouraged and answered. My home was completed on time and 3 weeks ahead of original schedule. Use of the NoviHome app was great to communicate with the project managers and to be kept abreast of the home building project. I loved receiving the weekly pictures of each phase. Professional & Organized - The developers were great! The sales staff was a bit more disorganized, and I waited outside for over 30 minutes on my closing date because someone forgot to show up and let us in.

We had high expectations for Stateson Homes based on the recommendation from our realtor and we have not been disappointed. The entire process from our first contact with the sales staff, the design meeting, the weekly progress updates from the Project Management team, the thorough and informative pre-drywall inspection through the on time delivery of our house has been nothing short of outstanding. We are very happy to be proud owners of a Stateson Homes house.

The sale manager is very rude. The company staff also purposely refuse to reply emails.

I would recommend due to the quality of the home and ease of overall experience. Gave 4/5 due some misinformation during sales meetings and initial stages of process.

As mentioned before, everything was fine until -Anthony ( I understand is no longer with you guys) who messed up and had the drywall installed without us having even planned a “pre-drywall” meeting.
- after the build was done everything looked decent then we looked at the backyard which we had been told was completed and seeded. Looking at the backyard we saw a track-hoe had used our backyard to go across and to another yard tearing it up and making it unlevel and making it all up with tons of track marks.
—all that said Stateson has been pretty decent in their timing of reply for a response.

This question has a complex answer to to challenges with the infrastructure that wasn’t established during the development phase. We chose Stateson to build our home based on the reputation of your company. The initial phase of tge sale and chosing the lot and amenities was enjoyable and handled professionally. The building phase coordinated with Brandon and Caden was handled with care and consoderation to our needs. When minor issues were identifed Brandon and Caden were responsive snd attended to detail. The mortgage process and move in process presented major challenges. The individuals mortgage lenders were professional however their process was uncoordinated and several calculation mistakes were made including telling us we needed 13,000 more than the final amount stated 1 hour before closing.

Two weeks before closing we we informed about major infrastructure changes with utilities to include trash, mail and internet access. To date the internet challenge has not been resolved whivh impacts a number of daily operations. A major impact was a medical emergency involving my daughter who has acseixure disorder and wasntvable to access us through the Slexa app and thevrescue squad was delayed due to the addresses not being in the ststem correctly.

I will give Stateson grace on the infrastructure challenges but with the number of communities Stateson has built these errors should have been identified and corrected months before we broke ground on our lot.

The buying process was good. The build quality of the homes is what is expected of lowest bidder subcontractors. The build quality is what we would expect from a much lower price point.

Quality of the build was great, but miscommunication and incorrect information made it feel like this was Stateson’s first development when we know it’s not.

The entire process was seamless. Top to bottom the team is a wonderful group who kept us informed every step of the way and responded quickly to any questions/issues.

We have found Stateson Homes to be delightful to work with as they created our wonderful Westhill home for us. We’ve been living here for about a month and are appreciating the quality workmanship and attention to detail in both the house and the development. We have especially appreciated working with Denny, the sales manager, and Connor and Caden, our project managers, each of whom has been respectful, cooperative, and anxious to make things right.

Generally, I am very happy with all of the services provided and how quickly they responded to me.

The sales person Todd and project manager Tristan were great to work with but the subs that were used did some things that were not good and aggravating. I will say Tristan was on top of most things as well and he did a good job for us. It's not that I wouldn't recommend Stateson but I would caution someone to keep an eye on the subs if possible.
