In large part, the company has not addressed my issues or responded to them in a timely manner with regard to warranty items. Some of my issues are more major, such as the bug infestation due to the issue with the foundation, the heating and cooling issue in my front bedroom, and the lack of HVAC run to the half bath, which makes the room excessively hot in
the summer and cold in the winter. I mentioned this issue at my closing walkthrough and was told it was designed that way
in the River model. Besides finding that hard to believe, I have been in other River models, and they have HVAC in the half bath; still others are disappointing, like the cracks appearing in my concrete driveway and garage and also in the wall, and the poor quality of paint finish (flat), which has resulted in lots of stains, even from water, some seemingly from looking at the wall funny. Extremely disappointing, most especially since I was told that GreenTech acknowledges the finish is not good and has switched to using an eggshell or satin finish on homes now. The warranty process is time-consuming and at times confusing, as well. Further, communication is often stalled for days or weeks at a time. The warranty portal is difficult to use -- it doesn't offer an easy interface and I often have difficulty logging in, to the point where I may enter a claim and then be kicked out and have to re-enter all of the information. I was not able to find a way to get a listing of all of the issues already entered and then compare it to the list I keep outside of the warranty site. GreenTech did finally share one with me after a few requests to do so, but I still need a few hours of spare time to review it against my own list. I do not appreciate the need to enter every item I want addressed or risk it not being considered -- it should be a walkthrough inspection. This is far more convenient for the homeowner and far less burdensome in the way of documentation. If GreenTech needs to document all of the claims, that responsibility should fall to them, not busy homeowners, who are GT's customers. Generally speaking, the quality is lacking as is the follow-up and follow-through. I've messaged my reps almost a week ago for maybe the fifth time in 12 months about the situation in the upstairs bedroom, and to no avail. The heat outside and the inability of the HVAC to cool the front room makes a family member's bedroom uninhabitable. It's not reasonable for me to have lost the use of one entire room for the hot months here in Tennessee, April through September -- that's more than half of the year. Likewise, it is highly unreasonable to demand that I retain pest control services to address a known issue in the foundation of the home and address the infestation of pill bugs. Indeed, that is treating a symptom (at my great expense both financially and health-wise) and not the cause. Other issues include poor work on finishes and additional drywall and concrete cracks. Overall, response has been delayed, at best, and offputting, at worst.
It is a little early for me to decide completely. After my initial sales meeting, the answer would be yes. After the design meeting, the answer would be no.
Greentech Homes is just busting out houses really fast. They're not really concerned about the quality, usability, or function of their product. They also hide a lot of things in their "package".
We have not worked with them long but they have been very easy to work with in the sales and initial design phase.
No pressure just sharing factual information!
There were several issues even before we broke ground and then some while building and after we moved in.
I have 5 stars as of now. It’s been great communication and an easy process.

More transparency on house pricing. Posting houses at base price is borderline false advertising with the photos of fully upgraded houses.
No.
We are disappointed in the quality of the home as well as easements not being proactively communicated to us during the buying process. As for quality, what I mean is that 2 years into the build, our roof was leaking. After having an inspection we found that a significant part of the shingles are damaged and too much water was flooding into the flashing causing the leak. We’ve also had significant and persistent HVAC issues for the entire two years we lived here, often times being brushed off. After we continued to push, the hvac people would find a fix The quality we received has not been worth what we’ve spent and the headache this house has caused. We would not recommend to anyone to buy from Greentech.
GreenTech built us a quality home and followed through on all warranty work needed 1 year later.
We have already recommended Greentech to others. We have been impressed with the quality of houses we walked through and the accessibility of the sales representative.
Lack of integrity in quality work- both in landscaping and interior finish. Several things were done sloppily and we weren't living nearby at the time to check in and have things corrected in a timely manner.
Very easy to work with. Great communication. I love my house.
Sold me a home with a terrible foundation. Engineer told me it’s one of the worst he’s ever seen and that our home could fall one day.
Overall it was a great experience.
Everybody was responsive, professional and friendly.
Make selling an existing home come before committing to a green tech home.
Listing not exactly as described after building. Most lots in the neighborhood may have been flat and low maintenance but we were under the impression that ours would be made flat and it was not
We had a wonderful experience with Greentech Homes LLC and would highly recommend them to anyone building a home. From start to finish, the process was smooth, transparent, and well organized. The quality of the work, the professionalism of the team, and their commitment to customer satisfaction truly stood out. Our home was completed on time as scheduled, and the final product met our expectations.
Our overall experience has been actually very good - the PM was great, the general team we worked with was superb. Final product: 90% perfect, which I rarely ever give.
My only advice to new buyers: ENSURE YOU KNOW ABOUT AND REQUEST THE FREE DESIGN CONSULT.
Although we came in later in the process, we were "denied" an opportunity to meet with a design consultant before locking everything in. Items we would not have picked - lights for example "just accept for now and change later" to quote the selling agent are terribly old fashioned, something my late grandmother would delight in. "Change Later" consisted of a penalty charge and exorbitant cost for any changes (as we found out from the counter adjustment we considered) - so may as well be denied
Thus we still have around $2500 of things to do to what should be a complete home.
With all that said, I would buy again from Greentech without hesitation.
From start to finish Greentech was there supporting me and calming my anxiety! The home design is gorgeous and the community will be a model for others to try to duplicate
I would not recommend Greentech. They are not responsive to the customer needs. My house was not ready to close and I was told it had to close before the end of the year.
Process not finished yet. Should ask this question at the end.
Stellar experience!!! I am so proud of this team and how far we have come! This is by far the best GreenTech home I have ever purchased!
We love our home, we loved the design process, we love our community at Farmstead. Good home, good quality, good company creating an amazing experience.
We are pleased with the floor plan and quality of our home. I would absolutely recommend GreenTech to anyone planning to purchase a new home.
I think that there were some frustrations with the design process, mainly with some of the “upgrade” costs. Additionally, was pretty upset thay my brand new hard wood floors (that we paid extra to be installed in every room of house) were clearly walked on by other people (mud, dirt). The floors should have been covered and protection should have stayed in place until we moved in.
There were a number of things not done correctly. Had it not been for Melinda Fifield not sure what we would have done.
