Ricky and Dakota have been a fabulous team for us-answering any questions we have and addressing any issues that came up. We like the design center and the options given to us for our home. The location of the developments are great and the pricing is fair.

We love our sweet Pink House and community! The location is incredibly convenient and perfect for our family’s day-to-day life! We’re close to everything we need for work, errands, and activities! However, our favorite feature is we can walk to the park! Being able to enjoy morning walks together before the day begins has been such a gift for my little ones and me! We struggle to decide how to spend our evenings—pool, park & splash pad stay put and enjoy our cute little cottage space! Our home is the perfect fit for our family! Even though it’s one of the smaller floor plans offered, it’s designed so thoughtfully that it feels both spacious and cozy! It truly has everything we need, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision!

We had a great experience building with Buffington Homes for the second time. The experience was even better the second time around— more professional and efficient with great attention to detail. Communication between our new home specialist and field manager was great, and we were kept updated throughout the process. We are very pleased with how our home turned out.

You can read my first survey and it has the items I am concerned about. Concerns are doing the finishing to the home. Concrete on the side of the house when they poured the concrete slab on the home next door. Should have never been left like that and corrected. House wasn't ready for walk through for closing. Floors had paint on them. Tile floors dirty. When I am told that something is done to industry standard doesn't make it right. Excuses like they always do it that way doesn't make it right. When I did the walk through was told this is my only chance to get the item corrected and then get upset when I nitpick everything. The biggest issue I see is no one follows up on the quality of the work done by the contractors. It appears as long as they tell them they are done they move on to the next step. Leader standard work would go a long way to ensure the contractors did the work correctly. I was told the garage would be 21'3" deep. This isn't what I ended up with. Garage is only 20'7" deep. I brought this up in previous survey and no one reached out to me. Items I was told would be fixed at the walk through still aren't corrected. Concrete on the side of the house is one of them. My rating went down because of items Jason said he would get fixed from walk through still aren't corrected.

Grant was awesome throughout the entire journey. This is the second time I buy a house from buffington this time the experience was much better

This is our first Buffington home. We feel it is built with care, quality and unique style.

This one is very difficult to rate for me. I loved the idea of a luxury home built by a supposed top builder in our area. When things are done correctly it's a 5 star rating....but that is the problem. I've had so many random things that have been wrong that have had to be fixed it has made me feel like I need to drive by daily to catch things before they get too far.

I was very impressed with the sales people and the neighborhood looks great! I am looking forward to living in my new home!

It was a great experience from meeting at the showroom to the whole design process and the continuous updates we received. Everybody was transparent and didn't try to push anything on us, which I found refreshing. Overall, the whole process was good, and Dakota was good about everything, and it was a great experience.

The quality of the Buffington homes are unmatched. From the perfect floorplan layout to the right amount of customizable options. They use high value products. Lawson and Zack were great throughout the whole process. They promptly and happily answered every question I had and addressed any issues I had. They never made it feel like my concerns were a burden.

I'm willing to recommend the process so far but until I get in the house and feel how well it's built, I won't recommend too strongly yet.

The overall build process, construction quality, and warranty follow through after completion is 2nd to none.

I wish I can offer more stars given my experience with attention to details, amount of pushback I had to go through for small things like alignment on garage door, blinds curtains, fence staining etc.

House was not completed to the standard. Paint was sloppy, final touches sloppy. Unwilling to fix.

The on-site staff were generally helpful; however, there were several concerns from the beginning:

The call center experience was not collaborative and often felt transactional rather than supportive.

Scheduling design studio appointments was consistently difficult and lacked flexibility.

There was a significant lack of transparency regarding community-related aspects. In particular, many homeowners were disappointed to learn about the adjacent chicken farm situation, as this was not clearly communicated during the plot selection and booking process.

Post-purchase quality issues have been observed, including excessive squeaking throughout the home and concerns that the bathtub may not have been installed properly.

More attention to detail on the finish work would save more time throughout the 60 day warranty process

We would recommend, but would mention that any design upgrade has a huge markup and will add $30,000 - 100,000+ more to the cost.

Great house; very happy with quality. Only issue we have is the Ozarks Electric box being 1 foot from the driveway that was poured after Ozarks placed it there. Driveway should have been adjusted to accommodate that. I have been parking my truck over on that side and hitting it with my door everytime I open the door out of safety because my guests will hit the box when pulling in or backing out. I don't want to cause major injury or damage or cause a power outage but this should have been addressed before the driveway was poured. I couldn't test this out until after closing due to the wooden temp fence that barricaded the driveway. I reached out and met with Ben who punted to Carl and Carl met with me in person. After some deliberation and a 2nd appeal by me, I was told nope; nothing we are going to do because it's just too complicated of a process. I want a resolution. I am awaiting a decision from AR public service commission for further direction and then will send a letter to Buffington for a final appeal. Please make this right. None of you would want an electric box dangerously located ONE foot from your driveway.

Mike handles everything amazing! We have moved 20 times. This is the best new home warranty we have ever dealt with.

The people we have worked with are awesome and they believe in the quality of the homes they design, build, and/or sell.

Overall, we feel like it was a 5-Star experience. The few things that had to be dealt with that weren't 5-Star could have happened in any situation of building a house.

The service Buffington homes provides claim to be top of the class in constructing new homes, but my experience has not been great. I had to have a conversation to get anything done and ended up in an argument and ended up having to pay for everything that needed to be fixed in the house. Everything it was a painful process to get things done. That is one of the reasons I would not recommend Buffington Homes.
