Courteous installer and folks who called me.
I was not impressed with the finished job. Called to have someone come take a look and it took them a while to respond back.
The experience was good from the beginning to end.
Installer was excellent
Friendly courteous easy to talk to
It does not take much math to figure out that you are charging 1000.00 per hour for your services.
Everything was great but the price still seems a bit high.
I was asked to sign off on an online order that I had no idea how to read. Only trust it said what we agreed upon.
Very professional
The first time the installers came the windows mostly did not fit. The second time they came, they collected the check but the work was not finished. They still had 3 windows to trim.
I would highly recommend Your Home Improvement Co.
Scheduled me right away
I waited 5 months for my project to even be started, yet you wanted pmt upfront, which I complied with. Lack of communication on the part of your co and agent explaining delay.
The product looks very nice. Just one minor fit and finish issue.
Mind you the walk-in shower is beautiful, however, it's unconventional. The seat is too far from the faucet, hand wand, and rain shower, so we could wash hands free. When we discussed it, we asked to have the faucet and rain shower in the center of the wall or the seat in the center. The way we see it we still need a shower chair and a handrail on the outside so it's safe.
Be more flexible on ordering the product to do the project right
Presentation and quality of product. Made in USA
John was great in helping us but I feel the finish work was below my expectations for what I paid for
Prompt,quick good quality work
We signed a contract to install 14 windows with this company in July 2024.
Windows installation was completed March 27, 2026 a long, frustrating 20 month wait for a job that was originally estimated to be done by December 2024.
Delays included 97 days of no response from YHIC staff to building department for permit questions, miss-measurement of window openings requiring reordering of windows (twice) and installation of plain glass where tempered glass was required.
Problem mainly seems to be with the parent company headquartered in Minnesota. Their window supplier is SLOW to fill orders and when YHIC permitting staff are unavailable, other staff do not cover for them leaving the customer in the lurch.
While company employees I've dealt with have all been pleasant and professional , they still did not manage to provide results in a timely manner and many are very poor at returning calls or responding to texts. Many of the employees in the home office tried to help, but had no ability to actually getting the project moving.
The local Billings project manager seems to most often deal with questions about delays by blaming others (city permitting department, etc.)
Our son felt that you ripped us off.he felt the $20,000 price tag was way too much and you took advantage of us because we are seniors. He said the job wasn’t worth more than $8000.
Need to practice what you preach. I was told multiple times we don’t do business like this but it continued to happen over and over.
A 2 day project took 12 visits over a 9 month period, and 5 different installers to finish the project. You would think someone would show some sense of urgency when you know there is a problem.
I liked the people who I worked with, for the most part
All of the guys who helped us were do nice and very open to us having tons of questions. They answered everything and did such an amazing job at remodeling our tub and shower! We loved working with YHIC and their staff. They also answered all of our questions and concerns. They kept us updated the whole time and financing was available for my wife and I since we just got this house and are low on funds. We recommend them to anyone looking to update their bathroom. Our new shower and tub are beautiful, and we can't wait to use it! It actually makes our bathroom look gigantic and it is a single very small bathroom 1950s slab house. Thanks guys!!
Since there is such a long time from order to install, the reminder texts should have a note to be sure the cabinets are cleared out for refacing. If that was communicated to me at order placement, it was forgotten by install two or three months later.
