Poor quality work

The Window Nation salesperson was nice!

Some of the paperwork had to be redone or wasn’t passed along in a timely manner. They forgot one window and the first installers made small gouges in woodwork, left (flammable) cleaning product and only at the very end posted a ‘lead warning’ but never discussed it with us at all.

The way the installers kept asking if everything looked good while installing, and answering any questions we had.

I ended up calling the city myself to get an appointment for the inspection. So I still have no idea if it was done right or correctly and this is 3 weeks out.

Windows are great. Patio door - there were several pieces too short. The manager came the next day with some, but they did not fit. Was told would hear back either way if had pieces in warehouse or ordering. Have not heard back.

Window Nation - Minneapolis, MN did an excellent job. I have no quirks at all. I was happy to rate them at check out. It was very pleasant, even though it was not cheap. I had to write two checks to them, one at the beginning, and one at the end. Both of those checks were very satisfying to write!

The windows look good and the installers did a very good install.

I loved everything from my first visit with the representive to the job completion, I have already showed the windows to friends, family and nrighbors, I highly recommend!

I requested white trim and the person who measured wrote down natural trim. Also my installer was not informed it was a full casing install.

The windows may be ok, but Window Nation's communication and follow-up were terrible. 69 calls! I always got their message stating to hold on. Then it would come on and say press 1 to receive a call back. I would do that and never get a call back. It said press 2 to leave a voicemail. I would leave a voicemail for them to call me back, and they never did. No one calls back. I made 69 calls and 3 calls to the national office before I got a callback for someone to help.

Long story but I will leave review on website. Also after first big storm, had water in windowsills. Had to put a towel in the outside sill for 2nd storm and it was soaked.

I didn’t realize these windows were tinted, that was a big plus in our book

My front slider doesn't lock my old windows work better there's either screws missing on top there's holes there outside flashing is short on top ready to call another company for my other windows keep getting told someone will come out and nothing still can't get a inspection done and the loan is on hold

Language barrier with installers that did not speak English. Not all windows were installed the same depth. The ones that needed framing. The rest with trim left on are ok.

I am likely to recommend Window Nation. I thought they were very professional. Likewise, I used to do this kind of work as a physical planter, so I'm used to seeing people that are good and know what they're doing versus those that aren't so good at what they're doing; I know the difference.

The whole process from start to finish was incredibly smooth.

The quality of the windows was great. But there was a severe lack of communication during the process.

The windows look great, Jack Herbes was amazing. The windows look great! I wasn't able to rehang my blinds due to the window depth, small inconvenience.

I had to take more time off from work and although it was fixed, I'm still annoyed about that.

They are professional and neat. They pick up everything. When they were done. It looks like nobody has ever been there.

Trying to contact sales person is not easy. The crew that did the installation was all Mexican and did not speak English so that made it hard to communicate. They did good work and quickly though.

So far we are pleased

The guys who came were very polite and explained everything. They cleaned up after themselves. The job was finished before expected.

First the salesman told us $74,000. After talking with someone else, he was going to take a commissions to the tune of $40,000. Our windows and door came to just under $30,000. Miss measured 2 widows. Door installed backwards. Now all windows are in and we have to have a service call after realizing one window is sticking out about half an inch. The installer jammed it full of caulk to try and hide it. Poor trim work on other windows. Very scuffed up trim and walls. The service call will be the 6th time I’ve had to taken time off work. Sales man, measurement man, install 2 days, another measurement man, installs another day, and now another for the service call. Probably yet another day to fix the window.

I had a horrible experience. All the windows were insulated incorrectly and living in MN ice built up on all my windows inside the house and damaged the trim. It took 4 months to get it resolved after the issue was passed to the next person to deal with. I would never recommend your company and tried multiple times to speak with a manager but no one would return my calls. Very disappointed.

Everyone we dealt with was very professional. There were communication issues with the Install team, but they did a good job.

So far, the process has not been satisfactory. The windows and door were not installed properly, and parts of the door were removed. The trim work looks sloppy.

The sales process needs work.
- It was expressed to me that this would be approximately a 60-90min appt. It last over 3hrs.
- A visual of what these new windows will look like when it’s all said and done would really help. It felt like I bought something that I didn’t know for sure what the final look was going to be and I was a little surprised in the end. It’s not bad, and windows look good/fine it’s just different than what was in my mind.
- Sales Rep described one of our windows incorrectly and now I have a 3-slider window that doesn’t do what we were told it would (ie it doesn’t open all the way). I reached out to the sales rep and market manager but never got an answer back from them.

It was a quick service.

Love the windows as they are exactly as they were described and work very well
