It was a great service.
When I got my windows done, there was no inside trim, I was told it wasn't on the work order, so trying to get someone to come back and fix it took a long time for someone to get back with me, so I sent out an email, I got a response from Emily and was told someone would get in touch with me, to set up a time and day, I had another long wait ,so I sent another email. I did received a call from some one , but he told me he had to find someone to come to my place and asked me if i could send a photo of a old window, I did that when i got home late from work that night , I did tell him the kitchen window was very hard to open too.
So another week or so went by, no call, no update, so I got tired of waiting and called Emily again, Still no one called me back so on Saturday i called they guy who I talked to but I got a message that my phone number was blocked , I was really upset, so I hired someone to do the inside trim on my four windows and got them done 3 days later, I couldn't keep my place a mess with my furniture still out of place waiting for my windows to get the trim done, I called Emily again the morning when I went to work on Monday, and told her I still hadn't heard anything and that my phone number was blocked when I tried to call that guy to ask when will my windows get done . Emily was able to help me out and I finally got a call from a woman from this region and set up a time and date to get my kitchen window fixed so I could open and close it. I told her I had to hire someone to do my trim, this was taking way too long and I was getting very upset. I don't know what happened when I ordered my windows, maybe I misunderstood the guy or whatever , but the work order didn't have inside trim on it. Anyway, the work that was done on my windows seemed great, outside looks good. It was the inside that looked bad and but once I got it fixed right out of my own pocket , they look good.
I just got my kitchen window fixed on Monday (29th) I am pleased that the guy was able to fix it . I now can open and close that window. He was very pleasant. Actually, the guys who worked on putting the windows in I think did a good job ( I think if the work order had inside trim on it, they would of done great. Anyway, I am happy it's all done now and I was finally able to put my furniture back) So with this bad experience of waiting and waiting, am not sure if I would recommend you, but if someone was to ask me then I would tell them , I am sure this doesn't happen to all your customers, but I must say I love my new windows. If i do recommend, i would want to collect the 250.00 ,
I am likely to refer friends and family to Window Nation, Mr Richards, the Salesman, was friendly, knowledgeable and personable, the staff working in the office we’re friendly when they called, and installers worked diligently installing the windows and was very good with the cleanup inside and outside of the home. Kudos to the staff of Window Nation every was professional. Thank you.
It's one of the best quality windows we've ever purchased.
I am thoroughly disappointed in this entire sales/installation project. I really do not know where to begin. Perhaps, it's best to begin with installation. First, the team came a little after 9 am and started working very fast which was impressive at first. They all seemed very professional. However, in their haste when taking out the previous windows in the front of my house, they damaged (cracked) brick trim on many of the windows. They were using crowbars to bang windows out. This surprised me! I was not expecting any damage to my house. I'm not a window installer, so I do not have an appreciation for damage to my house to install windows. Bottomline, I did not want nor expect my brick damaged. I took pictures and also discussed this with the audit person who came to my house. The audit person told me that if I'm unhappy with it, that everything would be fixed to my satisfaction. Unfortunately, I understand the audit person is no longer employed at Window Nation. The installer team lead (Diego) essentially told me the brick damage was unavoidable and blamed the homebuilder installation of the brick. I still have yet to get an answer if brick damage is always a risk. I suppose no one wants to admit their screw ups. Now, because of the location of the cracks in the brick, a large cap had to be installed around the windows. I am not happy with how the windows look in the front of my house due to the large cap size all around and I need someone at Window Nation to address this. The install team did not finish until after 9 pm. Therefore, I was not able to walk around the property with the installer because it dark. Also, my family of 4 was was not expecting the team to be here that long. When they arrived soon after 9 am, they said they'd be done around 5 pm. They had 26 windows to install however, so maybe this is why they rushed. However, before Diego left, I mentioned that it took considerable force to close the windows. He blamed the model/style of these windows and mentioned the balances had issues. I even called Terry (sales) and he said it might be a balance issue that needs to be adjusted and would not be a problem. Even if true, this means more time would be required for someone at Windows Nation to come to the house to fix almost every window. More time and an inconvenience for us. When this needs to be done, this sends a message to me, that it's a product is substandard and not best quality. Or, maybe it's a window for a rental property. But, not for my primary residence and in this neighborhood. When Diego left, he provided me his number to call him about the installation should I find anything wrong. He said this because it was too dark to walk outside to review. I found it odd and interesting that he would leave me "his number." And, then it dawned on me, that he must be a subcontractor. I did not ask him that question. When Terry gave me his sales pitch, one of the things he foot-stomped was that "all Windows Nations installers work for Windows Nations" giving my the impression that they were employees of the company and that Windows Nations write their checks. I have found out that this is not true. So, at best, his statement to me was misleading. At worse, it was a lie. So, Diego, the subcontractor installer for Windows Nation was the only inspector of the work quality and completion. How does that look for quality control. To add, Diego's team used an outlet in my garage to charge their batteries. They never asked if they could do so. I later saw their batteries plugged in to the only outlet I had in the garage. Well, I had a 2nd refrigerator in the garage plugged into that outlet which later tripped. When my wife looked into the freezer portion the next morning, we had icicles everywhere. I called Diego to explain that his team caused this and he swore that they did not and that I must have a problem with my freezer. After a discussion with a manager in Installations (can't remember is name) Diego had agreed to refund $129.00 for the items that thawed in the freezer. To date, I have not seen a check. During the conversation with the Installations manager, I was told someone was going to come to inspect the work and verify the issue with the balances. A technician came here on 27 Oct and confirmed it. The technician originally came to replace a window sash but the sash he brought was not the correct size. So, I still have duct tape visible from the street over the cracked glass since the installation the beginning of October. When I asked the technician (I think his name was Mike) about the balances, he seemed to be caught off guard that he was only there to replace the sash. And, to find out, he was not the person the Installations Manager said would be coming to my house. That said, he did walk every window and confirmed the issue about it being tough to close most of them. He told me he wanted to come back soon after his visit to adjust or replace the balances to verify the fix action for them. However, to date, I have not heard back from Mike or anyone at Window Nation about this issue. It's been more than 30 days. One other thing to add, now that it's getting colder, I feel these windows have drafts near the in the end corners of the bottom window. This needs to addressed. To sum up, this has been a very disappointing experience. I am unhappy. I feel that I have been lied to or mislead on numerous occasions by Window Nation employees and subcontractors. Terry told me during the sales talk that he was a Christian. I suppose that was used to communicate that he can be trusted. I told Terry my two biggest concerns were road noise and drafts from the previous builder grade windows. During his sales pitch, he discredited the quality of competitor products and talked about long lead times. Yet, I question the quality of Window Nation products but most importantly about people doing what they say they are going do to. I had called a few times earlier in October and left messages for Production and Installations and was told I would be called back. I never received a call from those ladies. The more I write about this, the more upsetting it becomes. While inconvenient, I need these issues address by Windows Nation management asap.
I was thoroughly impressed with the clean up and installation process. The guys gave me great instructions on how to operate the windows. I was impressed with their ability to get in and out.
The company did great work.
If everyone could have the installers we had, I would highly recommend them! They were outstanding and made the installation wonderful!
7 happy workers arrived on time and stated to work immediately . They worded in great harmony and within 8 hours they installed 14 windows and a kitchen sliding door and at the end the floor was vacuumed.
The team arrived on time. They were very professional. They looked at the windows that they were supposed to change. They did the job, and asked me to look at them. They looked fine. I was quite satisfied.
When the windows were installed there was a small hole in one of the screens. Also when scheduling a time to have someone come and replace the screen they did not show up. I had taken a morning off work in order to meet them. Lastly when they did show up, they had the incorrect screen type and had to remove the screen and come back again. I am still waiting on a screen installation.
I will strongly recommend Window Nation to a person with a project in mind.
A few of us in my neighborhood got windows. I would highly recommend them. Four of us got replacement windows.
Overall, they have not satisfied my expectations. There are two screens that are ripped and 2 windows that are scratched. I have tried contacting them, but it has been over a week, and they have not been very responsive regarding this issue.
love the new windows. can already tell how much more efficient they are. they are also attractive looking compared to what we had
They were professional, on time, and cleaned up after themselves. I didn't have to do anything after they left.
Yes, I'd recommend Window Nation to a friend. This experience for me has been very comfortable from beginning to end.
From the time that we met with the salesperson, the person for the measurement to the installation, it was all very good.
Received an email from a Brooke Powell to see how installation went. I informed her that it went well however there was debris on my awning that covered the porch from my windows and the bathroom. I also, informed her that the window next to my entry door had a bad spring. I've sent two or three other emails and she hasn't responded since she informed that she would forward my concerns to higher ups. As a matter of fact no one has called me.
I would recommend Window Nation to family and friends. You all were very professional in your Installion of installing windows. Your salesman who came out to talk with me and show presentation of your windows, was very professional in showing your windows and how they save energy in my home. Your installers were excellent. They cleanup after installing my windows and took away the old windows .Also your saleman explained about the warranty for the windows. He took the time to go over everything with me. So in short the sale was made, and I’m very satisfied with the installation. ……J.Dudley
