We were very happy with our shower remodel! Ed did a fantastic job!! Our salesman was very knowledgeable and explained the whole process. I would highly recommend Windoe Concepts!!
quality work, friendly people, and cleaned up when job done.
They were very pleasant to work with. They were on time on the installment day. They were earlier than they promised.
fair price, quality window, quick installation
The company was very responsive and did quality work!
It was done at the time of covid 19 , every one worked hard to get our windows on a timely manner.
Good price, service and follow-up
Excellent experience! The sales guy was easy to work with as we customized a Provia front door with stained glass, and the installers were VERY knowledgeable about working with older homes. Would highly recommend.
The whole team was professional and great to work with.
We were satisfied with the work done, but have not been able to contact your business to schedule the installation of a second grab bar, as requested. Also, in hindsight, we think the job was overpriced.
There were bumps along the way but nothing that would cause me not to recommend Windows Concepts of Minnesota to someone I know. In the end, I have a beautiful and functioning shower.
We were very happy with the quality of Window Concept's products and installation.
Great product. Wonderful service
Everyone with Window Concepts of Minnesota were very professional and courteous and fully explained the progress of the project and addressed all concerns.
Window Concepts provided a high-quality product and we were happy with the installation team. They did what they said they would do and it was delivered as promised.
The windows were great quality, and the staff that put them in worked fast, and cleanly. The staff were also punctual. However, we finished the frames ourselves, and one of the wooden frames was cut short by an inch and a half. This has put quite the damper on the project getting done.
Job well done... good workers and materials...
Window Concepts of Minnesota were efficient, on time, very nice to deal with, pleasant and provided us with satisfactory service.
Window Concepts of Minnesota was reliable, responsible, and they do excellent work.
We had new windows installed in September and we are very happy with the product and the work done by the crew. We would highly recommend Window Concepts.
The windows are great. The sales representative Jesse was very good, the installation was outstanding.
So far I'm satisfied with the windows. It will be interesting to see how they perform through the winter months.
The bathroom installer were really good , and the job looked really good. The patio door installers were also very professional.
This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. I signed the paperwork 6/19/20. Job completed 11/24. Salesman was terrible. He said 5 weeks. Then said that they did not have the color. Then said the manufacturer did not make that color anymore. I would call him and send texts but rarely did he respond. When I called the office I would get a run around
I live in Rochester. So we got tired of no one keeping us updated we drove to the office in St Paul. Even there we felt like it was our fault. So we canceled the order. On the drive home a manager named Brice called. Although my wife disagreed, I let Brice talk me into staying. This was Sept. He said he would keep me informed. Never heard from him. When I called I was told that he was no longer employed there
I finally spoke to the owner and got the job scheduled. I could say alot more but I will not.
On a positive note, the installer, Mike Webb was excellent. He was very professional, kind and wore a mask. The work was exceptional. Mike was the only good thing about this whole experience.
Window Concepts was very professional, on time and the job done to my satisfaction.
They were efficient. The worker was on time, was pleasant, professional, courteous, and he did a great job.
Our project began at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Window Concepts staff, worked through their protocol timely to assure that the project was accomplished in their promised time.
Project was not completed correctly and all attempts to contact the company have gone unanswered; even when I contacted the owner!! Customer service is nonexistent with this company. I have recently contacted the state attorney general's office to intervene so I can get items fixed. Project completed in March 2020 and it is now 6 months later and I still have not received any responses to my numerous inquiries.
I like the product and it was built quite well. We're completely satisfied.
Everything your people did was !st class. I will be recommending you to any of my friends that might need new windows. Don Rowe
Project was completed on time and exactly as promised. Workmanship is excellent.
They did both my bathrooms. Great customer service.
They installer was very nice. He did a professional and nice job.
Had a 1986 shower / tub replaced wit a walk in shower.
They were prompt, thorough, and did a fabulous job recognizing colors for our roof!
I was very satisfied and it was great customer service.
The workmanship as done was excellent. I felt after the fact that a couple details should have been explained further and suggestions made rather than simply asking how we wanted something done without knowing the impact - the placement of a grab bar and the placement of the on/off.
They did excellent job by replacing 8 feet patio door. Even inspector was impressed by work . As it was exceptionally well done.
Love them!
Top quality workmanship. Professional and personal from the beginning to the finished project. We couldn’t be happier!
They were neat and efficient. They got the job done quickly.
The person who came first to sell us the window was very professional, easy to deal with, and made our purchase go without any issue. The people who came and installed the window were super professional -- it was a family of a father and two sons -- and their work was impeccable. My husband and I have health issues and they were very conscious of that and were very pleasant to be around.
They did a really good job.
I was totally satisfied from the very beginning to the end of the completed project. He was on time and things got done in record time! I was very pleased with the whole transaction.
Good workmanship, kept their schedule, friendly communications, great results.
The installers were really friendly and did a great job cleaning up after themselves!
Dan was great, helpful knowledgable. Ran into a little hiccup trying to get in touch with the office staff regarding an ETA to install. Installers were awesome. Would use them again for another project!
Used on second project and dropping the rating to 0 stars if possible.
I would give 0 stars if possible.
I've purchased two sets of windows from Window Concepts - both through the same sales guy (Dan - he was great and helpful).
I'm currently remodeling my whole house, so projects often become dependent on other projects being completed.
Second set of windows(no stars awarded):
Windows were ordered on 1/30/2020(still are not properly installed in my house). Communication this go around is much better, however hasn't been entirely honest and have not been given the truth everytime. Install time was 12-16 weeks, with window being enlarged in the kitchen.
Windows arrived, and got the appointment set up to install them(install date was 4/29/2020) super excited at this point! I checked to ensure the proper permit was pulled(something I shouldn't have to do being I'm paying them to do the work) and noticed the proper permit was NOT submitted. I called Tyler right away as the city has a 10 business day turn around. Tyler jumped on it and submitted the permit within the next day. Since this is a cut out, it requires a plan review of the work to be done(this was not submitted after requesting the permit). I figured they had it under control and didn't look to see if the permit was approved as most contractors won't do work without a proper permit being approved. I called Window Concepts on 4/28 as the weather was spotty and I wanted to ensure we were still 'go' for install. I specifically asked if the permit had been approved and they said yes, we are good to go for tomorrow(4/29).
4/29 came, installers were fairly nice, did the work very quick and were gone before I knew it. When they were leaving they gave me the city permit, which was not the right permit required for my house. I double checked and noticed that the proper permit was not approved yet for the window cut out. I called Tyler and spoke with him letting him know and he said they are going back and forth with the city on the plans for the permit. I called the city and spoke with the inspector, who at this point(4/29) said he had not received any plan submissions from them. When they were submitting the plans, they kept resubmitting virtually the same plan and not correcting the issues noted by the inspector. Eventually the permit was approved with the plans due to them stating it is not a load gable wall. After they installed the window, the following day one of the panes of glass cracked. I called Adam and he ordered a new one.
I set up the final inspection, and the inspector came out and without setting foot in my house said that the window will fail inspection. This is due to Window Concepts thinking the window cut out was on the front of my house and not the side - not entirely sure how this is even possible as two people were at my house PRIOR to the install. Inspection failed and now the inspector requires Window Concepts to do a load calculation for the header and re-submit the plans to fix the work.
3 weeks after the window was installed, they finally get the load calculations done for the header and submit only the load calculations to the city which is not what he instructed them to do. The 'plans' were rejected and require re submission from Window concepts. After they got the load calc back, the plan was approved and they were allowed to ‘fix’ this window. They came out the following day and swapped the header out. When they were here, the new crew said it’s a good thing they were out here because the crew that installed it didn’t seal the window. After they were done, another final inspection was set up. Comments from the inspector on the permit were load needs to be followed down to the foundation. They braced one side of the basement and not the other, stating they don’t need to do that side. When they did brace the one side, they left a 1 inch gap, thus not bringing the load to the basement. This resulted in yet another failed inspection. At this point, Todd came out himself to finish the work. He braced both sides and fixed the gap the install crews have left. After Todd finished, the inspection passed. June 2 - Adam called me stating the replacement window is in. They brought the window out the next day (June 3) and swapped it out. Well, the window they brought out also has three scratches in the pane that were are noticeable. I was on a conference call so I wasn’t wasn’t really paying attention. I called Adam June 3 and sent him pictures to order yet another new window.
Fast-forward to the end of July and I get a missed call from Window Concepts. I call them back and no one knows why I was called. I ask about my replacement window and I was told Chris(I think) is checking in the back to see if its in. a few minutes later I’m told that he will give me a call when he gets back inside. Then Tyler calls me asking whats going on because he saw my name. I informed him and he said there is no replacement window ordered for me and that they replaced it June 3. He also informed me that between June 3 and that day that Adam quit. So Tyler went ahead and got the order windows but said it might be a while before the window gets in.
The day after my window was installed (4/30/2020) the window cracked. I called and talked to Adam and sent him photos and a replacement was ordered.
During this point, I did talk with the owner Greg, who although seemed nice, didn't seem to care how this is impacting my life. I don't have a kitchen right now since this window is in my kitchen. I've had to delay my cabinet/counter/sink install. Will have to have a plumber re-do my vent for my sink, and continue to live without a kitchen. They have offered NO compensation or anything.
Bottom line - i would not use them again even in an enemy’s house. Great product, but that is all I can say.
Very satisfied with the product. Sales and installation staff were professional, courteous and knowledgeable.
I was very happy with the whole process. It was going to be delayed a day but they called me a week in advance to reset up a time. I love my window and everything from beginning to end went very smoothly. Also, communication was great!
I was referred by a previous customer. I was very satisfied with their work.
