I want to give a shout-out to Herman Knipp, my salesperson at the time. He was awesome.
I liked Todd, who came out to give us an overview of what was going to happen. He was very thorough.
Very pleased with the project. Professional personal. Answered all my questions
John was my first point of contact, very information, available for questions. Westfall Roofing very excellent to work with and the roof was completed in two days.
Having a roof replaced is a complicated and lenthy process. Westfall checked in frequently to monitor the progress and make sure it was on track. If you had any questions management was right there to answer them.
None
We are not quite done. There were several issues with the gutters that is currently being looked at. So we are waiting on resolve before leaving a review
They were very professional.
Very friendly staff, was spot on with the timeframe they gave me. Answered any an all questions I had. Cleaned up nicely after completion!
Absolutely and without a second's hesitation!
I was very satisfied with Westfall Roofing's work.
Initial meeting for estimate-went up on roof to assess roof and shingles-told oit look like a straightforward job although it ws a large roof-was told the roof was not too soft or spongy feeling-we were givien a price and date set up. Initially, there were delays in getting started-crew finishing another job-late permitting that pushed start back.
Our cost ended up being 33% higher than the original estimate-extra cost due to having several layers of "paper" that needed to be removed from previous roofs-not something known until shingles removed, 100 year old house required replacing 1X12 planks versus 8X4 sheets-drove cost up- did not realize that we could have negotiated for more wood allowance-we chose Westfall due to reviews we had seen-would certainly caution anyone to research about the estimate versus true cost-especially additional cost of lumber. It was quite a shock to be given the final price!
The work crew did a good job-clean up and protection of pool screens
Supervising manager-Randy-did sit down with us and reviewed and was very helpful in explaining costs and making adjustments as best he could.
There certainly was a concern that we were provided with a "low-ball amount" initially
Fascia boards that were replaced were not consistent sizes-1X6 and 1X8 used-asthetically there are obvious size differences-and with differences-higher price points.
Everything went well from start to finish. The sales person showed up on time, brought lots of printed information to help us make our decision, and pointed out items that we didn't think about.
Improper transition from roof to flat roof left soft spot on roof. If I didn't inspect it would of been left like that. 2 different project managers they both did not give me enough information. This took forever. They did not seal the chimney "water tight" when they removed the chimney cap. I had to do it after asking in an email if someone could come out and do it.
They broke boards when the renailed the gutter back to the house.. Their crew left cigarette butts and and energy drink can in my gutters. They left 3 wood trim pieces to have rotted ends and I'm left trying to figure out how to fix
I feel like such a sucker choosing Westfall I was promised family values and was treated like the red headed studio child.
Westfall Roofing was professional, timely, very courteous, and personable, and the work was done with quality.
Stayed with the schedule and I have already recommended you to a few people
Quick efficient and effective.
The field supt. could be on the job more to oversee all problems. The workers did not respect my lawn, such as... they throw empty plastic bottles over my lawn, and they threw their unfinished lunch into the lawn debris can for county pickup. The amount of waste in aluminum fascia was seen when they could not get the correct length or the cut was too short. It took them roofers 3 times and they couldn't get it right. The main office sent out someone after a couple of weeks who actually did metal work. They did a good job.
They were very easy to work with. Everything ran according to schedule.
Westfall Roofing was great. They were professional and quick. The roof looks great. I can’t say enough good things about them.
They came and did their job. They were professional, dependable and did an all around great job. I am satisfied.
I have already recommended Westfall Roofing to a friend. Wesfall Roofing communicated the whole time, got the job done, workers worked great, cleaned up their mess and the new roof looks amazing. They said they would be here one day to drop the materials off and did and came the next day to do the roof. I would recommend them to anyone; they were awesome.
Very pleased with the look, installation and price.
I am very well satisfied.
Westfall Roofing is a very professional company.
Everyone that I contact with did professional.
Great shingle installation, i just wish they would have fixed their previous installation of a flat roof that has a bunch of waves in it that restricts water flow.
I was very pleased with them. They showed up on time, did a nice clean job installing everything, cleaned up well when done and communicated well throughout the whole process. I would definitely use them again.
Questionable final inspection. Was told I needed 3 bird boxes and they were installed and I was billed but come to find out they were not when me and husband inspected roof. Gutters were installed without ordered leaf filter system.
Company was very professional, impressed with how early workers showed up & speed at which roof was completed
a
99% happy with job. We do find some roofing nails.
Westfall Roofing was recommended to me by neighbors and friends. I take their recommendations over what I read on the internet.
Good crew great clean up after each day
Overall, they did a fabulous job. They were very communicative, and kept me informed every step of the way. They only charged 10% down, and they didn't use any subcontractors. Furthermore, they were here when they said they would be, and they worked tirelessly two full days, from sun up until dark, to get the work done. The entire process and people I worked with were great. Everything went smoothly. They removed the dumpster the next day.
They were very professional, handled everything in a timely manner, and no trash was left behind. They did a great job.
I would just make sure that they get an install date prior to signing a contract
First, I was not a fan of how many people I had to talk to in order to get my roofing project completed. I was under the impression that the estimator or maybe one other person would be my point of contact throughout the entire process, but instead I had to talk to:
* The estimator
* The intake coordinator
* The production coordinator
* The production crew manager
* The accounts payable staff member, when I was incorrectly billed for the full amount of the project when only the shingle replacement was done
* The aluminum project coordinator
* The aluminum project manager
This really confused me as a customer knowing who I had to call and when. The customer service line was helpful when I had issues, but the people I would speak with after talking to customer service seemed confused why I was calling the customer service line and not them.
The shingles look great. They did not look great initially. It took weeks to get the crew to come back to fix the patches of shingles that were improperly installed, and after weeks of no communication and missed dates, they just showed up one day unannounced and fixed it.
There was a piece of rotten fascia that was initially not replaced. The crew came back to fix it, but the workmanship feels incredibly sloppy.
There is still bad fascia and soffit on my house that was not touched because there is a gutter in front of it. I feel disappointed that this was not handled even during the final inspection, but I was honestly so frustrated with the experience that I just wanted to pay and be done with it.
My biggest issue is with the aluminum part of the job that was unable to happen at all. When I spoke with the estimator I remember him saying something along the lines of “you’ll probably be needing a structural engineer, they might have to take the top of the roof off…but let me make some calls and see what we can do” and the solution was agreed to “clean up” and wrap the wooden beam in the front of my house with aluminum.
They couldn’t do it because the beam was too rotten, which they only discovered when they went to wrap it with aluminum.
Three.
Months.
After.
My.
Estimate.
Why did nobody look at the beam closely / tap it with a hammer the same way they did with the fascia board to determine if it was rotten or not? This wasted three months of my time hoping to have an issue resolved, only to be told “yeah we don’t handle that, sorry”
I still don’t even know who to call to fix this so my brand new roof doesn’t collapse other than a “structural engineer” which is absolutely meaningless to me when I have nobody to do the work after the engineer has looked at it. I’ve attempted calling multiple general contractors with no response. You are roofers - how do you not handle roof issues like this? It makes absolutely no sense to me.
Overall I am incredibly frustrated and so very disappointed with my Westfall experience.
Thorough roofing work and great staff.
From beginning to end, Westfall was easy and pleasant to work with. Professional and helpful.
We feel that the sales portion of our experience was good but the installation was rushed. The crew was professional but they removed and installed the new roof in one day and worked a few hours in the dark. There were issues with the installation that had to be resolved later and we feel like they could have been avoided if they took there time to do a good job over the estimated two days instead of one.
Westfall Roofing recently put a new roof on my home. After consulting with other firms....their offer was competitive, offering a superior product.
Used Westfall after Ian for another house we own were very happy, fast forward to sept of 2024, setup, pre roof went smoothly, but roof failed first inspection, took almost 2 months to get it re inspected, and another 3 weeks and a phone call to get wind mitigation inspection. So overall, was not very happy with our 2cnd experience with Westfall.
Absolutely anytime
They did a great job.
The process was easy, and they were very good, efficient, and left the house clean. Overall, it was a great experience.
I had heard good things about Westfall and my experience with them was exactly as expected. I highly recommend them!
We used Westfall after the last Hurricane, when our roof got quite a bit of damage. Herman, our sales rep, was fantastic; he was nice, professional, extremely knowledgeable and very responsive - even after his 'part' of selling the roof was technically over; he still answered our many questions and was a great help throughout the entire process! The ordering part was easy, and the company worked with our home owners insurance to make sure both companies were aligned.
The roofing crew did a great job; they worked fast and efficiently and the supervisor Simon made sure everything was done right; he double checked everything, and made sure the area around our house was well cleaned up and free of nails. He also was great at answering all of our questions and kept us informed during the entire installation.
We are very happy with our new roof and would definitely recommend Westfall roofing!
I recommend Westfall Roofing. Because they did an excellent job.The group inspector explained everything clear and was very friendly.They left everything clean.
The Salesperson was very nice and explained everything in process.
