The workmanship was great the rest was a nightmare. It was almost 14 months from contract to completion and at signing the expectation that was set was 6-8 months. The work didn’t start for a year. We contracted in early April of 2021 with work completing end of May 2022. The first few months there was minimal work. Finally got a drawing and it was a mess with posts in the wrong place etc. I pressured them the rest of the summer for when permitting would be filed with only basic responses of being busy.
Finally started permitting in October after I directly called a project manager. Based on that call, I believe they had lost track of the project by his surprised when looking at the file.
Permitting completes in Jan and we meet. To my surprise they raised the project 30% for “contracted” project. They stated it was in their right that they can raise rates after 6 months due to delays outside their control. I pushed back that they didn’t even file for a permit within 6 months and that was totally in there control.
In the end I cut the project back to exclude the roof that I really wanted and just got a deck. It wasn’t worth the money for $150k for such a small covering. $100k was already 15% above other quotes at the original contract time.
Had recently completed a Kitchen and home remodeling and noticed the electric outlet in the garage had tripped and could not be restored. This along my wife alerting me she could not use a blow dryer in the master bedroom bathroom, nor any other bathroom. This was not a new problem and we decided to get the whole thing inspected and fixed. We researched area top rated service providers and liked what we saw for Rock Electric LLC. After discussion of the problem via phone, sending pictures of the electrical panel and the GFI outlets that were not working a technician came to the house, inspected the problem sources and stated an estimate would be sent with proposed actions. We received the estimate and a proposal for adding two new dedicated circuits for the bathrooms upstairs and changing out the breaker and the GFI outlet in the downstairs bathroom. +2 hours to troubleshoot other suspected problems in our electrical system. With our approval, the work was scheduled and done as proposed.
I was pleased to work with Rock Electric, LLC. They communicated well. The young man came out and took care of the master breaker. He came in under the estimate, which was terrific.

Masterdecks team has really great professionals who are experts and know what they are doing. We are thoroughly impressed with the outcome of the deck and the quality. As with any project, we did run into few issues but Masterdecks team including their owner took the time to understand our concerns, addressed our pain points, went above and beyond in finishing up the deck exceeding our expectations. We have so many neighbors of ours stop by to look the finished product and we continue to highlight Masterdecks to them. Projects of these sorts are one time investment to the home we live in and we went with the best of the best who don't cut corners and did the right thing. Special highlight to Kyle Bannister for staying on top of this project after being brought in mid way, for his time commitment and communication, truly addressing our concerns and staying thru the entire course of the project.
Ben was very helpful when I was having a dilemma. He diagramed the wiring procedure I needed and left me an invitation to call if I was still stumped. I was and I called and he set me up w/ Aaron to fix my electrical issue. What was great was I didn't have to wait or be put on their schedule because I didn't have that time. Very impressed w/ their help and professionalism.
They are the best in the businesses. They didn't cut corners. They do everything the right way. I felt really good about having them build my deck. I felt they were more qualified than anyone else I could get.

Our experience with ResCom was excellent beginning with the pre-project consultation through the installation and now the follow up. Everyone we spoke with and worked with was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Our project was small, but we were treated as if it were the largest project they had ever done. We actually like our new railings better than we had expected and feel it makes the street
appeal of our home even nicer. We highly recommend giving ResCom a call if you’re considering any type of railing for your home.
