Overall experience was good but a few of the windows were wrong and needed additional time to order new ones. Universal windows team was responsive during the process.
I have been waiting since June to hear from them. I have called and called and they never have gotten back to me. Their customer service is very poor.
I had some problems with the initial process. After the problems were brought to light, the company did do what they could to satisfy me. At the end of day, they went above and beyond. Their sales needs to be a little better.
I feel like I have been scammed, I would tell everyone to avoid them at all costs.
My windows look great. I am really happy with them. The two installers were very professional and they did what was advertised. I am glad we selected this company to do our work.
It has only been two weeks but I am so happy i had Universal Windows Direct install new windows in my home of over 40 years. It was long over due. The sales woman was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. She was friendly and she made us feel at ease.The demonstration she did was effective and I felt comfortable with the purchase.
It was supposed to take 3 days to complete, 8 weeks to start. It took over 4 months; they fell down really bad.
They look nice but we don't know how well they hold up.
The work that was done at my home was impressive and everyone with the company from the office staff to the crew that come out were very professional. I would have no problem recommending the company to someone looking for replacement windows.

Cosmetically appealing installation , time will tell if windows are as energy efficient as advertised and demonstrated. Didn’t expect rotted wood to be just hidden with shiny new white flashing , but life time warranty supposedly covers ANY failure . Time will tell ! Thinking cleanup after completion would include possibly cleaning glass of fingerprints and smeared caulking . Maybe my expectations are too high .
The product is excellent, Carl is very efficient and effective and knows his stuff. The two installers, though, Carl had to get on to them to do a great job not just a good job.
The installers were very professional, very precise, perfectionist, very neat and clean. When they cleaned up everything looked perfect.
I think Universal Windows is going through growing pains in Pittsburgh.
When Candace gave to my house she spent over an hour talking to me about the company, and the windows. She made the experience comfortable, and took the time to answer any question I had. I had a few other quotes, and Candace was the only salesperson that came into my home and spoke too me, not at me.
They were sloppy. Sole money from my wife. Left garbage and glass all around the house.

After completion of installation, a defect was noted and immediate action was taken to reorder a complete unit. Delivery was made and installation was completed in very short period to our satisfaction.
