Our windows were installed improperly. The installers left nails and wires inside and outside of the house.
Everyone has had great communication, calls to check up on things and any updates throughout the process.
Product delivered in the time promised. Work completed efficiently and windows look amazing. Will definitely return for more work.
I ordered this door on 6/2 and the completed door was not done until11/1. The first door was 5" too small. The second door opened on the incorrect side of the patio door where my blinds were. The workers left a big hole in the molding around the door and just filled it with caulk. It looked horrible. The third time they were coming at a time I had a corporate meeting and told them of that. The 4th time they came they installed the correct door but did not correct the molding as I was told they would and they did a terrible job on the caulk around the door and the shoe molding was left as bare wood, big globs of caulk that looked very unprofessional. The fifth time, a different crew came back and addressed all of my concerns. I was surprised at all of the times they had to come back to make it right when I assumed it would be done right the first time.

On the initial visit on 11/12/25 the representative was so thorough in examining and documenting issues that had to be addressed in regards to insulation from the original installation and recalking areas inside and out plus noting the rescreening for 2 screens that was noted and took photographs of during installation. He made several calls to his supervisor informing them of what had to be done and scheduled the work for 11/18/25. His efforts were as professional as it get and much appreciated.
I’m 💯 percent satisfied we the family say thank you 🙏 very much my neighbor just came by and asked us if we are satisfied and if we do she is thinking about getting hers done. Again we are thankful. 😌

Will share my experience with friends when recommending.
Keep your appointments on a better schedule. Have your installers call if they are going to be later than the window of time given. 1st time installers came 3 hours late. Then did not install saying the windows were too small. Jason came out to remeasure, and the windows were actually the right size. Another appointment made , again installers were 3 hours late. They got the windows in ,but had to come back another time and were 2 hours late, to finish the exterior trim. The installers were courteous & did a great on the finishing of the job. We were pleased with their work, even though this was a big inconvenience for us, to reschedule 3 different times.
Pricing I think I overpaid by a lot
There are a few issues the installers said would be corrected but I have not heard from anyone about these issues.

Window is scratched
Was an anxiety ridden nightmare with installation. Supposedly two days in May. Windows done in October. 5 months no trim and rotted exposed wood. And a mess of wood and nails and strips in the lawn I had to pick up. Sent pics throughout project. No apologies or compensation. Wrong window size on two of 16 windows replaced. Twice trim buckled, had to re-order rolls. 4 to 5 weeks between each re-order.
Not at all. Took too long to get windows ordered then installer damaged electrical wiring on the first trip. They showed up on two separate occasions with damaged windows and bad measurements. Months and months still not satisfied. And still waiting for the rice adjustment because I was quoted for complete tear out but they were all pocket fits.

The original visit with James was very good, explained everything and answered our questions. Universal was great at working around our calendar for the installation.
Our door is not correct and no one at your company will take care of.
Came on time, did an excellent job and was very tidy.
I asked for a receipt and window stain specs from Scott still haven’t received either

Someone came out and adjusted a few windows so they work better. I showed some flashing on the exterior that did not line up. Showed him the broken Hosta and an irrigation sprinkler hidden in my shrubs.

I told the salesman and the guy that did the measurements and installers I wanted to save the windows from lower level bedroom and 2 of the best storm windows they removed and took all with them I entrusted the installer with the work with out me staying home to watch and they could not even do as I requested to save to use to repair windows in my garage and I was told they installers where professional I don't need to baby sit them
The salesman was very informative and convincing. He showed us the window (had a sample) and all the qualities. The people who installed the window were very clean and did a great job. They really knew what they were doing.

Felt misled most of the process. Windows don't block out cold like I was led to believe. My sales rep was unresponsive. Installers didn't speak English so I couldn't ask questions. I was told by customer service that the installers' manager would call me, but that didn't happen. Personal property damage has not been addressed by customer service yet.

Jason replied a cracked window and showed me how to slant it open. He also took the time t suggest ideas on how to get the stickers off the window. Thanks Jason for explaining everything to me. I like my windows even more now.
I purchased Windows years ago from Universal and was very happy then so I purchased more this year and again very happy!
window glass is twice as thin as the replaced windows,so just as cold
Unethical salesman, poor communication, a lot of miscommunication. Poor quality of installation.
