I could not be happier with the construction and completion of my new windows. The crew that installed them were polite, courteous and very thorough! There was absolutely no mess when they left. I barely had any dust in my home at all! I would strongly recommend them for any project!

For what I paid I expected a better result. Sidelight was scratched and installer had no touch up paint. And a large area of wall needs to be repaired and painted where molding doesn’t cover.
Customer service takes weeks to respond and that is while I was leaving messages every other day. Did a great job on my windows. Still waiting for someone to call me back about fixing my door.
Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Attempted to cancel after I took time off work and tore house apart. Lied and said they didn't have another truck. Magically found one when they were told cancellation was no option. Lies, Lies, Lies.
Number of Windows quoted and then measured didn't match. We also ordered obscure glass for the bathroom. Which we did not receive.

Quality product, but my experience was peppered with delays. Some were uncontrollable and I'm unsure if the others reflect normal business operations. There were anticipated COVID-19 delays in addition to some unanticipated delays regarding installation and promotions rewards.
very happy with the windows. however, we currently have a problem with the color of the grids that were installed in May. Not what we had ordered in March. The installers made note of the discrepancy, which prompted a call from Customer Service. We were told that the "clay" color for the inside of the window grids were no longer available; however, we were NOT told that when we placed the order. So currently we have one version of grids on the back of the house and a different version of grids on the front of the house.
We have and my aunt recently purchased a door install from them!!
Sales Rep and Branch Manager do not communicate with their customer
1 of 4 people in the crew seemed professional. They showed up late. Didn't call ahead. We had damages throughout the home of varying degrees. All of which are still outstanding and I cant get a call back from the service department. Crew didn't a-lot for the proper amount of time to complete the job. Found 1/2 smoked cigarettes and empty cans of mountain dew throughout our home after they left. I personally did most of the clean up. We had broken glass/trash in our driveway/street. Plants near windows were destroyed. Product itself is satisfactory but the installation and post service have caused us a lot of frustration. We will never use Universal Windows again and recommendations will follow suit.

Manufactured product is great, the sales experience was fine, however there was some misinformation given. I was told you have all your own installers, and this was a reason I chose Universal. Upon arrival of installation, the installers were contracted out. Once the installation began I questioned if the aluminum would be replaced around the exterior of the window, the gentleman told me he would make the assessment of the condition and decide on his own what needed replaced. During the sales meeting I was told this was always replaced, again another reason I chose universal had I left like i wanted and it wasn't replaced I would have been extremely disappointed.. Thankfully the installers were great and replaced the aluminum.
Salesman was very Knowledgeable friendly and didn’t waste my time. I can feel the difference in the new windows in my old ones because I don’t feel a draft going across my room. And the installers are great they came they told me everything I needed to know and got the windows in did a great job was in and out and left no mess I really appreciate being on time and letting me know when you were on your way
At this point - no I will not recommend and most likely tell people not to use your services. When D'hea came out to sell us windows it was a great experience. Measurements - again great experience. Then came the installation. Multiple problems though not the installers themselves. We were told by D'Shea that Universal Windows did not use contractors - the installers told us they were contractors for Lowes. Next, the front door was not what we ordered. We spoke with D'Shea and he said he wrote the contract up correctly but somewhere there was a disconnect. It didnt have the grids that we had ordered and the door contents (insides of door) was not what we ordered. Also, we ordered a peep hole at a certain height - that cant even be done on this door - which someone should have caught and talked to us before the door was ordered. The paint on the outside of door is already chipping off. Then the slider on the back door - the screen doesnt appear to be correct size. It will not slide easily.
The windows blend in nicely with my wood windows. I love how easy they are to maneuver
Windows are great. Customer Service was subpar. Suppose to be a 1 day job, it took 2. Therefore had to take unplanned time off work, which cost us more money. Installers were suppose to arrive between 8-10 A.M., they arrived at 1:15. Getting a hold of someone is frustratingly impossible.
