We know that the COVID-19 pandemic is at the top of most people’s minds. We want to make sure past, current, and future clients understand how seriously we are taking this. The health and safety of our homeowners and employees is our top priority. We are following all CDC Guidelines to include:
Frequent handwashing/sanitizing prior and after all appointments
Practicing social distancing and limiting contact (including handshakes)
Roofing is an essential service. Our company is well prepared and is positioned to use electronic communication to adhere to the CDC’s guidelines about social distancing. The paragraphs below detail several changes we have made to the way we do business with our clients.
Evaluation Process – Our evaluation process is normally an intimate opportunity for our sales staff to hear our homeowner’s goals for their project while addressing any concerns. For the foreseeable future homeowners will have the option to choose between an indoor or outdoor sales appointment conducted at a distance, or a remote electronic conference with our salesperson. When scheduling the evaluation with our office, homeowners will be asked which appointment the homeowner would prefer. Regardless of which preference, we will still visit the home to physically perform a professional evaluation, but how we interact with homeowners will differ based on which preference is chosen.
In-person appointment – Our sales staff will notify the homeowner by phone/text they have arrived, will evaluate the roof, do a walkaround the perimeter, take pictures for the homeowner of any damage found. Will assemble the recommended course of action to solve the damage and have a few options on the direction the client can choose from. We will notify the homeowner by phone/text to come outside, and will then conduct the remainder of the appointment outside while adhering to the recommended 6 feet radius between staff and homeowner.
Remote appointment – Our sales staff will call or text the homeowner notifying them of their arrival, will evaluate the roof, do a full perimeter evaluation, take pictures of any found damage to share with the client. Leave the property to return to the office. We will then call by phone or utilize Zoom Meeting to go over the options with the homeowner.
Because of these difficult and unsure times, we are committed to putting the health of our clients and our employees first. If you have any concerns, please call your local office for more information.
Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and your continued efforts at social distancing to slow the spread of this virus.
They said that the overhead of the building wasn't part of the contract. I was very disappointed because I didn't know that until it was all over.
Universal Roof & Contracting was very professional in the process, and it was very easy to fix the roof. I didn't have to worry about anything.
They made everything very easy.
Happy with the quality of the roof, left in the dark over insurance claim.
They did wat they said they would do. They followed up with me. There were no problems with getting the job done.
I have been trying to get in contact with some for more than a week, and every time I call no one responds to my calls.
The are excellent. They delivered on everything they promised.
I loved their time, energy, patience and customer service.
Best roofing contractor out there. They made it very easy and took care of all our needs quickly and did exactly what they said they would do. The roof looks great.
They were fast and did a good job.
They did an outstanding job on the whole process,,from start to finish! They were not the cheapest roofer but the quality of work done, materials used and clean-up was worth the few extra dollars. As we are older folks this is the last roof we will ever have to put on!! Go with the best and rest well because the roof will be their long after we are gone!!
Universal Roof and Contracting is the BEST Roofing Company that I have Ever Had... and being 81 I have used many different Roofing Companies!! Nick Walker walked us through my Contract and explained Everything to me and my Daughter...Very professional Crystal Sharp sent me a step by step letter of what to expect each day from beginning of delivery supplies to the very last detail. Julio, Project Manager for my Roof was Superior,,staying here the entire time with his crew and explaining everything to me. He only left when he needed to go pick up more supplies, etc. The roof was completed in ONE DAY...except for some additional work that needed to be done around my chimney area the next day.The crew prepared with tarp Everywhere and Cleaned up after finishing and NO Nails were left anywhere!! Everything was done ON TIME and the Office kept me informed constantly!!! I am telling all of my friends how Great the Service was in the office and also On the Job!!!
They were good.
Great professional service.
I will not recommend Universal Roof & Contracting (URC) because they damaged the copper lines of my AC (they punctured the copper lines with 2"+ nails and leaving me without freon) that are below the roof of my house that they were replacing while placing 2"+ nails to secure shingles. Even though the contract that they gave me and that I signed on my own free will says that any damage is done to my roof that is 4" or below, URC cannot be held responsible, I don't think that should be their get "out of jail free" card for them to put nails indiscriminately without being careful of the damages that they can cause while replacing roofs (which they did on my case). The damages done to my AC Copper Lines while replacing my roof by URC costed me $2089.94. On top of that I had to spend over $250 extra in taking my family (that includes 4 little kids) to a hotel because the damage was done during a Friday and URC's project manager couldn't get to their bosses to discuss the situation. Therefore I had to spend on hotel, gas and food over the weeknd for their negligence.
Universal Roof & Contracting was very professional, knowledgeable and made it very easy to go through this process. I would highly recommend them for any roofing needs. They are trustworthy and reliable!
Very professional, honest and communication about construction details and arrival time was excellent! Full time on site supervisor Was very reassuring.
They did work for me before! Everything looks good.
They did a good job.
I highly recommend Universal Roofing. They were professional and easy to work with. Their crews worked tirelessly to finish our roof quickly and did a great job of cleaning up after the work was completed.
Their crew and company are very accommodating and professional.
I am withholding my recommendation until the follow up repairs are completed.
Universal Roof & Contracting needs to put a star on their chart, they are fantastic. They are great. I loved all of the workers, and I loved their responsiveness.
Gutters weren't complete, still waiting for work to be done.
Universal was there on the designated day. The project manager for my job called the day before to go over what to expect during the roof replacement process. He indicated that his crew arrives early and usually will stay as long as there was light. Even with a 3 hour rain delay they finished my roof in one day. My only minor issue is that they did not remove the refuse container until 2 days after completion of the job.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of Universal Roof & Contracting as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
