We know that the COVID-19 pandemic is at the top of most people’s minds. We want to make sure past, current, and future clients understand how seriously we are taking this. The health and safety of our homeowners and employees is our top priority. We are following all CDC Guidelines to include:
Frequent handwashing/sanitizing prior and after all appointments
Practicing social distancing and limiting contact (including handshakes)
Roofing is an essential service. Our company is well prepared and is positioned to use electronic communication to adhere to the CDC’s guidelines about social distancing. The paragraphs below detail several changes we have made to the way we do business with our clients.
Evaluation Process – Our evaluation process is normally an intimate opportunity for our sales staff to hear our homeowner’s goals for their project while addressing any concerns. For the foreseeable future homeowners will have the option to choose between an indoor or outdoor sales appointment conducted at a distance, or a remote electronic conference with our salesperson. When scheduling the evaluation with our office, homeowners will be asked which appointment the homeowner would prefer. Regardless of which preference, we will still visit the home to physically perform a professional evaluation, but how we interact with homeowners will differ based on which preference is chosen.
In-person appointment – Our sales staff will notify the homeowner by phone/text they have arrived, will evaluate the roof, do a walkaround the perimeter, take pictures for the homeowner of any damage found. Will assemble the recommended course of action to solve the damage and have a few options on the direction the client can choose from. We will notify the homeowner by phone/text to come outside, and will then conduct the remainder of the appointment outside while adhering to the recommended 6 feet radius between staff and homeowner.
Remote appointment – Our sales staff will call or text the homeowner notifying them of their arrival, will evaluate the roof, do a full perimeter evaluation, take pictures of any found damage to share with the client. Leave the property to return to the office. We will then call by phone or utilize Zoom Meeting to go over the options with the homeowner.
Because of these difficult and unsure times, we are committed to putting the health of our clients and our employees first. If you have any concerns, please call your local office for more information.
Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and your continued efforts at social distancing to slow the spread of this virus.

They were very good. I would definitely recommend them.
They are a great company and did what they were supposed to do. I am a building inspector and I am happy.
It looks awesome. I am hoping for rain, so I can test it out. It really looks beautiful.
If they clean up my driveway, I will recommend them to a friend.
Richard Adamson was very professional and the quality of the roof was excellent.
all was good
They were honest, and if there were any delays they would let me know. They provided good communication and did a good job. I shopped around and had five or six other companies, but I chose Universal. They were professional from the beginning to the end.
From beginning to end, Universal Roof & Contracting did a marvelous job. Interestingly, they offered a wind mitigation evaluation. We had an outside person complete it because we wanted to get it done through our insurance. An outsider completed the inspection per USAA's recommendation, and he stated Universal Roof & Contracting did a great job. We were very pleased with the company, from the salesperson on. They kept us apprised of everything and were very, very good.
They did a professsional job for a reasonable price.
Friendly, professional, and fair pricing. They did a great job.
I was very satisfied with the project that Universal Roofing did for us. Richard Adamson was our contact from start to finish of the project. He answered all of our questions and concerns in a timely manner. The gutter crew did an excellent job as well.
Richard, the salesman we met twice, he was not pushy and he was pleasant. He is a very good person. He represents the company well. The foreman and the installers were nice and did good work.
Universal's estimator was very thorough in this assessment of the job. He explained carefully what and why certain things would need to be done. Everything was done in a timely manner and I was kept informed each step of the way.
We are extremely satisfied with the professional, courteous and outstanding service that we received for Universal Roof & Contracting.
Well done, looks beautiful. Very pleased with my new roof.
I would 100% recommend your company.
I referred a bunch of people to them before completing my roof, and I would never refer them to anyone again.
The entire crew was great from start to finish.
I have already recommended them.
I am disappointed that they only did the roof. The name of the company is Universal Roof and Construction. I anticipated that the construction part of the name meant that they would also be able to do gutters, soffit, and fascia. They don't do any of that. That was a disappointment for me.
My salesperson was very knowledgeable and spent the amount of time I needed to understand the entire project.
I don't recommend companies.
We were very pleased from start to finish and we would highly recommend them.
The guy who was in charge was thorough and explained everything to me. He made sure everything was right and cleaned up before he left.
I already have recommended six people. I like the sales representative. He was very responsive.
