It was very evident that the woman, Lisa Wilkinson, who assisted me felt I was a waste of her time. I learned later that she was retiring within a day or so of my closing, which explains a lot of the rudeness in emails and phone call interactions. When a customer says they are brand new to the process and has questions and is confused and looking for guidance, being treated like an annoyance and not receiving guidance on basic things- such as the fact the home insurance company outsources a home inspection to another company and it is required during the first and subsequent years- leaves the customer wondering what level of service would be provided if or when the insurance should ever be needed, and whether it would be wise to renew. Fortunately, other Trident team members were very helpful and kind in subsequent interactions.

Slow turnaround time for the process of obtaining home owners insurance and required documentation for the purchase of a home.
When I called about my policy and why it increased by $400 I was told that everyone was ready. For me that was included and I told the agent I would probably shop around. He was descending and I did not like his attitude. I went through progressive and got to see all the see that I had with you guys and you got it for less than what my new payment is 754 with you guys it was I think 811 and they wanted it to go up to 1200.

Whenever I have called with a question or new situation, I have gotten help; but as time passes, I do wonder what the point of an Agency is..
I did not get the proper help from the trident representatives. I reached out to trident multiple times and the representatives are rude and not helpful . So I decided to move my insurance to someone else.
When we lost our brokers/agent, we were not assigned another one. We just have to keep calling the phone number on our policy. Although the woman we speak to all the time is wonderful, but it would be nice to have an agent to call when we need it.
Agent was the worst insurance agent I’ve worked in 50 years of insurance needs. I will be closing all my policies in the near future because of my discourteous, unresponsive, unprofessional and condescending agent Kellie Hedrick.

Trident takes care of the insurance on our condo, along with our downstairs neighbor with whom we constitute a 2 unit condo association. The initial placement of the coverage worked very smoothly and the premium seemed fair and reasonable based on our research. Renewals each year have been handled smoothly-- slightly longer lead time would be helpful in future, but otherwise no criticisms.

Trident has been responsive very quickly after we reach out with questions. Just recently we were able to work with Tammy Spear to lower our car insurance and bundle our home and auto policy. We ended up saving over $2000 thanks to her hard work!
Trident is very helpful during the annual renewal process however when I had to file a claim this past year the office hours were very limited and they weren't able to provide any assistance in regards to the claim process, what to expect, etc. Fortunately Safeco, my current insurance company was pretty easy to deal with but everything was done through the app, email, and text. When I called Trident initially it would have nice for someone to explain things to me first, prior to going through the claim process since it was unfamiliar to me. Thanks.
