They were professional and friendly. They kept us informed throughout the process and were quick to respond to questions over email or to call us to talk through any concerns. We asked for a different fireplace than what they typically offered and they were quick to source what we wanted at good price. We have had a good experience so far!

Was rushed to build my house pad and move cows off property. Was rushed to bring my first check since mine was a cash deal. Then was told construction would start a month later with nothing happening since construction was too busy. Then, was given an early start date and nothing happened that day...I have email proof of early start date. I reached out to everyone involved to be told we're sorry for the delay. House finally started a week later. I was rushed but there was no sense of urgency on your side once my check was deposited and you were earning the interest on my money.

I feel that some of the people need more big picture thinking when handling questions customers have and forethought for questions they should have if they have not been through this kind of process as this is your business. Miriam - she really stepped up and helped us immensely when we came back for round 2 of design and color choices. Without a designer present, Miriam helped us make all of our color choices again. She was thorough, took her time, and assisted us through that whole process a second time. Hector - he is extremely knowledgeable, detail oriented, organized, and communicative. He knows how to set a schedule and stay on it! We finished our build a few months early, and it wouldn’t have happened without his skills and expertise.

Additional Comments - Thank you for your easy buy program. This really made this entire process possible by allowing us to not have to purchase a construction loan. We’re overall very satisfied and so thrilled to be living in this beautiful, dream home.

It took almost 6 months before construction started after we signed in December and had all our selections as well as all the required utilities, road, etc.

We have had such a wonderful experience with Tilson Home. Michael has been absolutely amazing and there whenever we need him. We highly recommend Tilson Home.

The pre-construction process is terribly slow. For example, it took 2 weeks for the soil sample to be taken and 6 more weeks for the results report to be completed. It then took another 4 weeks to get the foundation design and Manual J report. I was not kept informed on the status of these reports and had to ask before getting any update. I could cite other examples of how slow things moved along but suffice it to say that we signed a contract on November 27, 2024 and as of today, May 22, 2025 the foundation has not been completed.

Overall, we are happy with Tilson Homes.

Our home is beautiful but we had some issues in the construction process and we needed to double check everything ourselves to ensure the quality of the work.

I think the interest rate is too high.

The sales manager was difficult and unpleasant to work with. The sales person frequently was unable to answer questions and often gave incorrect answers. I may recommend Tilson, but not the Bryan office.

The title company they used missed an issue on the property. That put us in a legal issue with another party.

I would only refer them because of Michael. If he wasn’t the person that helped with our build I’d say absolutely do not use Tilson. The end product when we did the walk through looked good, but that was just cosmetic. Ow that we are living in the home the flaws are starting to show
