It has been a learning experience and with exciting results happening as we enter the last phase of construction. Mariah helped us and she answered every question with knowledge, she took time to show us around and explain how Tilson does business. My only issue was I felt it took too long. I loved the whole experience and if the situation come where I need another home built I would use you all, but when I say it took too long I got pre-approved buy the mortgage company you all recommend, and a whole year went by and I ended up having to do the whole pre-approval rigorous application again which wasn’t the greatest, and we sit here now. No construction is being done just a port a potty and a rock road in almost 2 years. I do know that the end result will pay off though.

Every step of the way has been an awesome experience. From designing our home to the final walkthrough. Everyone who asks us about our home we highly recommend Tilson.

Tilson has been amazing so far! We love our project manager while our build is in process. I do feel like building a home for the first time we were not very aware of all the different options available in the house or small additions we realize now we probably should have added.

The pre-construction process is terribly slow. For example, it took 2 weeks for the soil sample to be taken and 6 more weeks for the results report to be completed. It then took another 4 weeks to get the foundation design and Manual J report. I was not kept informed on the status of these reports and had to ask before getting any update. I could cite other examples of how slow things moved along but suffice it to say that we signed a contract on November 27, 2024 and as of today, May 22, 2025 the foundation has not been completed.
