Not certain the shower panel walls I received were what was described and sold to me.
We are happy with the products and the installation was good, however from the salesman was in our house we felt pressured to make a decision immediately without having time to think about it.
I would recommend
Overall, I really like the product from the bath authority products. I did have problems that were resolved, but it was put upon me to keep making calls, which was not right.
The job was completed about two months ago; however, it was not completed to my satisfaction. I have had multiple conversations with them about the situation, but they do not seem to be in any kind of a hurry to rectify the situation. An inspector did come out to inspect the situation and agreed that the job was not completed correctly. The inspector called a manager on the phone to explain the situation, and they actually did a video call so the manager could see the concerns. The manager on the phone agreed that the service was not completed correctly. Since that day, another three weeks has gone by, and I can't get a hold of anyone. I call the customer service line, and no one answers. I leave a message, and no one calls me back. Very frustrating and very disappointing. This is not the way you treat a customer.
They offer a quality product - very pleased with the shower conversion.
Our “full bath remodel “ was just done today and we are frustrated, sad, and disappointed with the results. This company blatantly lies about what they offer and swindled us into agreeing to a bathroom that is less functional than it was before. Here are the lies:
1. We were told that they would be taking the walls”down to the studs” and replacing the drywall. We are responsible for finishing the drywall and painting, however they insisted that it was a simple DIY project that could be completed with a basic patch kit from the hardware store. All we need to do was tape over the tiny seams and finish them. What they actually did was cut the drywall half way up and leave a ragged gap that will require a professional to finish. This gap is so large in some places that I’m not sure it will look good after it’s fixed. Also, because we now have unfinished drywall, we can’t even use the shower until it’s finished. Some parts of the drywall have large pieces of metal sticking out, which will end up rusting as it did before, this is one of the reasons that we had the bathroom redone.
2. The salesperson said the remodel would be done in May, it was over 2 months behind schedule. This would not have been a big deal, however no one reached out to us to communicate anything. We actually thought at one point that this whole thing was a scam. They hung up on us multiple times when we called in. When we finally got someone on the phone they just said there is nothing that they can do and that we were unable to cancel (this is when we were pretty sure we had been scammed).
3. We were told by the salesperson that the financing did not begin until the remodel was completed. What he failed to mention was that the interest accrued the whole time that our order was back ordered, so $1000 down the drain because they are a failure of a company that can’t figure out the logistics of supplying their materials. They definitely have a sell first mentality, without prioritizing the customer.
4. Other than the drywall, several things were not completed or simply don’t work. The stopper for the sink is unusable, it doesn’t fit in the space and pulling it up is nearly impossible. There is no toe kick on the vanity, so that’s just left unfinished.
The crazy thing about this is, we lowered our expectations when it came to our materials because this place had such good reviews. There were only 3 choices for flooring (gray, darker gray, or a fake looking oak) and only one choice for a vanity. You would think that by limiting the choices as they do, that everything would work. Well, that’s not the case. This company is a joke. I can’t believe I fell for this 30k+ scam. How they can just lie and say that they offer full bath remodeling and deliver this should be criminal. I intend to tell anyone who will listen to avoid this company.
Couldn’t put a soap holder in very disappointed.
Awesome job. Very professional.
They were neat, professional , friendly and quick. Husband loves the new shower.
No I wouldn't recommend. Unfortunately I initialed and signed for what I truly believed was the style of the items I wanted installed.
Waited approximately 3 months for job to be started. Then they ordered wrong door causing more delay for both bathrooms. Installers were very nice and easy to work with but, they did mess up my walls in both bathrooms
work crew,very professional.
I will never recommend this company to anyone. Bath authority or windows direct!!
The quality
Clean
Professional, efficient, quick
It's been 2 1/2 weeks since our shower has been installed without doors. No one has contacted us on the status of the doors, or what they plan on a reimbursement for the inconvenience.
Excellent service and communication.
Our salesman told us things that were not true. He told us 5-6 weeks before the job was scheduled, it was almost 12. He told us that whatever was broke or damaged when they removed the old bath would be replaced and they expected that, that wasn't true. We still can't use the sink! They didn't send the right color shower curtain rod, so it's different than everything else! They didn't send the right piece for the flooring by the door. The installer was great and is trying to make it right but not much he can do.
A bit costly
The time between meeting with the salesman and installation could have had more updates. It was often hard to get a hold of the office because no one answered the phone.
I would recommend Bath Authority because I am satisfied with the quality of work that was done on my bathroom project,
Should any neighbors or friends ask about what company we used, I would certainly give them information about The Bath Authority.
The installation was not completed. The installers were late both first two days. The last day,the installer left a project for my husband to do that he should have done on both sides of the tub.
