My roof, siding and gutters are beautiful. Extremely pleased with the end results!!!

Communication needs to be improved across the board. I didn't appreciate having a dumpster in my driveway from Friday afternoon until Tuesday afternoon. The crew arrived after noon on the day of the job, even after multiple associates told me they would be there between 7:30 and 8am. Then, I was never informed of when the dumpster would be picked up. I called and was told it was originally scheduled for the day after the job, but the one truck they had for towing the dumpster had a break down so they were going to do it Wednesday. After having to get angry, they finally sent out someone on Tuesday. They were lucky I had a air compressor because one of the tires on dumpster was flat and there were no road in the truck! I had to let him use my compressor before he could haul away the dumpster. None one ever did a walk though to see if the end results are ok. I can only hope.

They did an excellent job. The employees were excellent and cleaned up after themselves, and the roof looks good. I also enjoyed Owens Corning part of it.

It only took about 4 times to come out and complete the job. It was 2 almost a 3 month job. I was totally dissatisfied with the service.

I saw them on Instagram, and I was nervous at first, but they were very responsive, fast to install, very easy to work with, and easy to do financing through.

I purchased the platinum package. Was to include all materials. Received a call i needed 300.00 additional for wood.

It took 6 months just to get new siding and roof. with terrible communication throughout. Everything was going fine with the job until I put the deposit down. I was told 3-5 weeks once we gave the money, after 7 weeks of hearing nothing I finally called to see what was going on. I left a message with a project manager, no call back. Called again and left another message, no call back. Called back to ask if anyone could help, turns out nothing was ordered for our job until I called to see if anyone was going to do any work. After waiting for everything to show up I still was not getting calls back and the install date was pushed back multiple times. Honestly the end result is nice, but everything before that was terrible.

We started our roofing project on February 27th when we signed papers to secure Third Estimate as our contractor and to file a claim with insurance. Initially things were proceeding smoothly. Our salesman, Mike, filed the claim, set up our inspection, and we already had an insurance pay out by March 14th. Unfortunately, our insurance only paid us for the front slope of our house, but they said if our contractor found further damage we could submit pictures and evidence for a supplement. Mike seemed committed to helping us get more money, but things stalled after that. Communication became subpar. Weeks would go by without any communication and when we did hear from him, he claimed weather was setting things back, which we understood. When the weather started clearing up in April, we still hadn't heard anything. We continued to reach out. Things he said would happen, didn't happen. For an example, at one point, we were waiting because he said we needed to pull a shingle for an "Intel report" but he said you lost your main contractor so that was delaying things. When we didn't hear anything further, I finally called on Friday April 25th for an update. He said him and his guy would be out on Monday (the 28th) at 2:30 to do the shingle pull. I got off of work early to be home, and he didn't come until after 4:00 and he came alone. So if he could just do it himself, I am really not sure what we were waiting for. Then he claimed he submitted more pictures to insurance, but as of May 21st, our insurance said they had not received any extra information. When I finally got frustrated and said that I just wanted to know what was going on, he told me Catrina would call me with an update on the insurance stuff. She never did. At that time, I just got tired of waiting and nothing happening and we just wanted a new roof! So, I told Mike that we were replacing the roof and to just get us scheduled. We financed our remaining balance, but Mike reassured us he could still likely get us more money with insurance. He said if during the takeoff of the front slope it damages the back slope, we could possibly get money for that. He said he would have his installers take lots of pictures. We had our new roof installed finally on June 12th (3.5 months later). We did not hear back from Mike until June 19th when he sent a picture and stated that he spoke to the head of install and the large ridge gap shingle was not affected by the tear off. The picture he sent, however, was of the roof, after the old roof was torn off and new stuff was already starting to be put down, so of course it didn't show damage. When we questioned this, Mike stopped responding and we have not heard from him since.

Overall, from what we can tell, we like our new roof and are happy with the outcome of the roof itself. We haven't noticed any major issues with the installation, other than poor clean-up after which has already been addressed. However, we did not appreciate the run around. Mike seemed motivated to get us the initial money from insurance and then there was little to no follow through after that. But I guess why would you care where the money is coming from as long as you get paid? We just didn't feel like due diligence was done.

The process to get to where we are was much longer and more drawn out than it needed to be. We shouldn't have to beg for communication and answers like we did, just for those answers to be untrue in most cases.

a two day job turned into a 5 week saga. It was the worst experience I have had with a contractor. They damaged my property and when what was damaged was replaced they caused more damage and the quality of the work was lower than what was replaced. This experience was an utter disappointment. I still have siding I have to repair on my house and a pissed neighbor because his house was damaged too. I would give a no star rating if I could.

Never applied for building permit til the job was done and only because it was holding payment til I got the permit

The 3rd Estimate took good care of everything here. They were really good. While they were here, they checked and made sure everything was done the right way, so I was really pleased.

It was very hard to get ahold of The 3rd Estimate when I needed something during the installation. The roofers were really messy and left way too many nails and debris around. When I asked to have something fixed, it took them a long time to do it.

Communication from the front office staff was horrible! In fact, some of the staff responsible for calling to arrange installation days and times were downright rude, in my opinion. In fact, on one occasion, I received a call indicating that a crew would be out the next day to install our gutter guards, gutter extensions, and replace our soffits anywhere between 7:00 AM-4:00 PM which seemed like an enormous window. We wanted the job done and thus agreed to be available during that time frame. The worst part of this story, however, is that on the day in question -NOBODY SHOWED UP AND NOBODY CALLED INDICATING THAT NOBODY WAS GOING TO SHOW UP!! This is completely discourteous and a totally unacceptable way to handle business and treat your customers. Will will NOT be recommending The 3rd Estimate, ever.

Josh Young explained in detail what needed to be done. He also made sure I understood everything. He also responded quickly when I had guestions. The men who did the roof & gutters were at the house on time and completed each task making sure it was done correctly!

Like I said in my Google review, the sales side was marginal at best. Wet pushy and didn’t care about my schedule or feelings.

I found 3rd Estamite on line. The same day a storm rolled in so fast and did a lot of damage. A huge 50 year old very health Maple was uprooted in my front yard. My neighbors fence was ripped apart and all over the place. My roof was a mess, shingles just ripped of throughout my hole roof. And to top it off, I had a hole the size of a basketball on the one side. They came out right away! Covered all the damage. Then the fight with my insurance company started. The 3rd Estamite, these guys where pros. They fought so hard for me. It didn't happen overnight. I won't lie. It took months and months. But I got the nices roof. I'm soooo pleased. It was worth it.

Excellent from start to finish

The process took much longer than expected and was given incorrect financing information at the initial consult. In the end the roof looks great, but there were a few key issues along the way that will prevent me from giving a strong recommendation.

I felt The 3rd Estimate was very responsive and did a very good job. The quality of the roof was excellent. It just so happened that two days after the roof was installed, a huge storm came in, and I didn't have any issues. They came back immediately to check the status of the roof and made sure everything was in place. They replaced a shingle because a tree fell on it, and they did an excellent job.

I had no issues with them, and I had a great experience. They did a good job with the installation and everything worked out pretty well.
