Our home is beautiful but the cosmetic stuff definitely disappointed. We did a blue tape walk and half the stuff was ignored. They told us to put in a warranty ticket when we did a final walk through did. Seemed like it was very rushed.

Haley was our representative; she was open and honest, and very friendly. From start to finish, she was very transparent.

The house has a lot of issues. The appliances are very poor quality. There are issues with the electricity. Only part of the house has working electricity. I have called Starlight Homes to try to resolve these issues because the house is still under warranty, but they have not responded.

From start to finish the process was very transparent and simple to understand. Vanessa and Alec were always ready and happy to answer any questions or help with anything they could. The lender was also very attentive and I could feel that they were working hard to get things taken care of.

The construction team were doing their part in ensuring the quality of the sale.
Up until after we signed for closing and came back across town for the keys the AC in the unit was still inoperable and the final walk included MANY unaddressed items with scuff/ unpainted and careless finishes to the product.
There are still hand prints on my fence from contractors/ overspray on outdoor windows/ trim unpainted and various other items the construction team left unaddressed after marking with painters tape and stating they would fix.

I am completely happy. I strongly recommend Starlight Homes. Their customer service is good, and they handle construction management. I am completely happy, and I would like to buy more through Starlight Homes.

The bathroom has no towel racks. This house was built to the bare minimum. The guest bath has no cabinet. One light in the bathroom and not one over the shower. The stove hood vents into the microwave.

I like the neighborhood so I would recommend to someone who is looking for a new home.

My experience Starlight was quick to get the home. I was looking for months with other companies, but with them we got the home within a week.

The house is good. I really appreciate the walk-through they did with me. They took time to explain to me things and take me around the home.

The biggest disappointment was that they planted oak trees in our very small front yards (at least 20 of them right next to sidewalks), denied it by saying oak trees were not among the three species of trees they are allowed to plant, finally admitted it after I closed on my home, then told the HOA they couldn't find appropriate trees, and now refuse to rectify the situation. These trees will destroy sidewalks and driveways, uproot power, water, and internet lines, damage roofs, gutters, and siding, dwarf our homes as they reach 65 to 75 feet tall, be major hazards during storms, and be a painful nuisance with their acorns. I love trees but this is a travesty for all homeowners in the development considering the enormous costs we will have to pay down the line unless we remove these oak trees. Shame on Starlight. I will be sure to write public reviews.

The whole process with Starlight Homes was very smooth and easy. I have no complaints at all.

The items that need fixed still have not been completed. The manager keeps stopping my husband to tell him he will get to it.

I would recommend only because the homes are built nicely and comes with all appliances.

Becoming a first time homeowner can be so overwhelming, so many times I wanted to give up. From submitting the same documents about 3-4 times a day or better yet a week lol it was a hassle. But
I must say that through the whole process Mrs. Tiera over here in New Caney Texas was such God sent for me and my family, even when I did tell Tiera that we were not going to go through with the home buying she stated no Mrs. Dupree God has you and your family name on that house. Tiera actually held our hand all the way until the day that we closed! She was so helpful to me and my family and even though we have closed on our home she is still helping us right now today, she answers texts and calls even on her off days and we couldn't be more grateful for her and her team for all the answered questions and text messages that they have helped us with. Adam helped us through our walk through; he actually took the time out to listen and addressed any questions that me and my husband had. Can't leave out Mr. Aaron boy has he been helping us through this since the day we moved in, any problems that we have come across he is making sure the job gets done in a timely matter! We are still in AWE of the whole process but overall, we are enjoying our brand-new home in a peaceful community!

I don’t think the quality is very high of the home itself. The walls mark so easily and are easily damaged. There are no gutters so after it rains the bark gets all over the sidewalk.
