Cheaply built
The quality of the house was not as expected. I found out some things were not of good quality. Some of the materials used were very cheap, like the faucet for the kitchen sink and the wood trim above the cabinets. The water spray hose on the sink was plastic. For the wood trim above the cabinets, they just put a small piece of wood there instead of a full strip.
My experience was better than I thought it would be. I was glad the house was still on the market when we decided to purchase it. It is a good looking house. We are very please.
From the moment that I walked in, Leon was friendly and helpful. He worked with me, gave me all the options that I had, and was able to assist me with everything that I needed!
I received fair value for my money. I like that the community is new and the amenities from the HOA.
Cannot recommend high enough. No frills great value.
There are defects in the new house as bulbs not working dryer vent not connected, even sprinkler leakage yet no way to reach construction
I had issues throughout the experience. Even though it was not a custom build, I had to put in a lot of effort. It feels like the work that was done was rushed. I am still dealing with that after closing.
They were easy to work with.
The location, backyard, and floor plan is really good. I highly recommend Starlight Homes.
Construction quality is terrible.
Great team who knows their job. Their buildings are top-notch, and I will gladly recommend them to a friend.
It was priced right, and had a good layout.
Everything was great except the workmanship in certain areas of our home. The manager did reach out to ask how we were satisfied with the house. He informed us how to submit work orders to get things fixed.
Yes I will recommend Starlight homes to friends due to my positive experience with them
I would not recommend these homes to anyone besides someone that i really dislike - and even at that point i probably would not recommend these homes.
Great location with competitive prices.
Already have to several friends
It was a stress-free and transparent process.
Starlight Homes is easy to work with. They explained everything throughout the entire home buying process.
I am very happy with everything and the service our builder has provided us with thumbs up and thank you Shawn
I do not recommend to a friend
The sales representative, Shanna, was wonderful from start to finish. She really helped with the process. When I first called, she made a great connection with me. She was very helpful when my husband and I came to look at the homes. She is the reason we decided to go with Starlight Homes.
The beginning of the process was good. There were a lot of issues with specific things about the house. It has been very time-consuming and frustrating on my part. It goes back to some poor workmanship on a lot of different things.
They are very professional. They do their job in a very proper way and walk with you. The homes are really good.
I would definitely recommend Starlight to friends and family.
It is a great area to live in.
Overall, it's a good home. However, there are some finishing/quality details that have been a bit off-putting (excessive putty/sealants on shower panels, AC/Heat Pump issues, construction-related plumbing issues, paint pulling on the dining room light fixtures, one-size windows/lack of variation (cost savings I suppose), no rear window treatments, loose and uneven fence boards, leaving escape areas for pets, etc.
The attention to detail from the underpaid contractor is not worth the price for these homes. I have spoken to other homeowners and it is clear that they rush building these houses, they are not well built. Simple things such as silicone ceilings and dry wall work is not of good quality. There are cracks between the drywall, if I didn't get a 3rd party inspection it would not have been noticed.
The agent who works with Starlight Homes in the area office they don't give the right information. If we say that this thing is this. They call us back and say I am sorry they don't have the information. They act like they don't know anything. They call me to do the inspection from my side. Once I tell them that my inspection guy told me they need to fix it. They said it is not their policy. Why do we spend the money if they have their own rules? They did not follow the policy.
Starlight Homes has been a great company to buy my first home with. Everything was very easy.
I wasn’t WOWED but I’m happy and satisfied. And I know if I ever have a question there are people there to help guide and or assist me.
Everyone at the Princeton office is an absolute pleasure to work with. Caressa did everything for us, so our experience was stress free
Starlight Homes made the process easy.
We are disappointed with the quality of this new build. It’s been a few days since we closed but have so many issues with the house already. The tickets submitted take their own time to get resolved. It almost an embarrassment to buy such low quality workmanship. We have had issues with master bath tub cracked and chipped, breakers not working, etc
My worst home buying experience so far.
Abigail does not return phone calls or text. When she needs something from you she available and blowing up my phone when I need her assistance she ghosted me.
Extremely good value for the amount of money spent. Certainly, our house is similar to others in the community, but our cars are similar to others cars. There is plenty of savings, and room to personalize our home. Truly great neighborhood.
Leon's manager was very unprofessional. Leon himself was not so professional also. I can't remember Leon's manager's name, but she hung up on wife and then stated that she couldn't speak to my wife because she wasn't on the loan. When asked to speak with someone over the both of them, no one provided the information to us. And this started because Leon made a mistake and was lying about the progress of the finishing of the home and cost of to have to pay more money because of his lack of interest in his job.
The build is very cheap, the quality of home you get is unacceptable for the price.
The relationship between the construction manager and us seems to be improving, but in the beginning, he was just trying to convince us that everything that we wanted fixed to our satisfaction, it was ‘operational’ and therefore it didn’t need to be fixed. As I stated in beginning, the relationship is getting better since he is more responsive to our concerns, but we still feel like he wishes that we wouldn’t bring up any more home issues that need to be resolved.
I was very satisfied with the service that I got from Starlight Homes. Steve was very, very helpful. I would highly recommend Starlight Homes.
The communication was smooth!
It was a great experience. The representative was helpful and responsive throughout the whole process,
It is a simple and efficient sales process, and they provide well-informed steps. I got great support from everyone.
Pathetic management company caring for their bottom line and not the customers.
Starlight Homes has excellent customer service.
Very nice house for the money
Starlight built homes are very energy efficient
They were a perfectly nice group of people. They have been helpful and supportive with the entire process, from buying to walk-through to closing. They have helped with many specific issues and are still helpful in many ways.
Poorly built… bad insulation. I can hear everything from outside.
