The purchasing process was a disaster. We had to beg for communication and information about the community and closing process. The home lacks basic hardware and appliances. Our street floods every time it rains and they don’t treat for bugs even when they say they do. We put in a lot more money than we anticipated.

Way too may things to be corrected on my punch list. Some so obvious that they could and should have have been correct before I did my pre closing walk thru.
The manager was really rude. It was the salesman manager. The second thing is the communication about the delivery.

It was embarrassing the way the field manager and warranty manager lead on my home. No control of schedules, rushed the house until the last minute and so many items still pending by my closing date. Instead of a happy day it was just a stressful day. Almost every item was unworkable and he referred to his trades as poor workmanship trades, I also have to say, the area Manager (Ryan) is a great professional. It is sad the rest of the team don’t follow his way to work. I had to closed my house with drywall issues, painting issues, weather strips missing in back door, kitchen cabinet not attached, tub cracked etc.. numerous items. Again after the storm there was a person named Ryan who gently fixed everything.
First time buyers. Had a wonderful experience!

Everything was great other than the sales manager, Sharod Kelley. Everyone else from sales to construction was very helpful, attentive, and willing to go out of their way to make the process as smooth as possible. The sales manager team cared more about their numbers instead of their customer which overcame the rest of the already stressful process.
Starlight Homes is a good company and I recommend them.
Everything was good and I loved everything about my first home. I didn't like the turnover and I felt it was rushed. On the day of closing, they were cleaning my home. They didn't take any pictures, and they didn't do what they said. It has been turned over and it is done. My representative wasn't there and that would have been helpful for me. Other than that, they have been very kind and have talked to me. They responded to my emails and texts during the process.
If I would need to purchase my first Home again, I will do it with Starlight Homes. Quality, Delivery and great Customer Service. My experience with Jose and Travis were awesome!

Although I love my home thanks to the modifications we have done and I love the area. The process of buying a home during a pandemic is terrifying & although it's not starlight homes fault for the delays I wish there was more they can do. Our house has a lot of small details that aren't pleasing. No one ever explained to us our HOA rules and we almost got towed for having a trailer. The title company was HORRIBLE!!! The person didn't even introduce himself, knew his name was David because of the stamps. He never congratulated us, never explained any piece of paper, didn't even want to help us use the coffee machine and it was freezing that day. As a first time buying this was not what we were expecting. Honestly if it wasn't for the construction manager Travis our closing day would have been ruined. Travis is amazing and responds to all my concerns in a timely matter.
I am very satisfied.
