I have some punch list items that are not complete. I have been in the house for 2 months, and they are still not closed out. They are avoiding coming to finish those items.
Starlight Homes did excellent work. Everything went very well.
I cannot get any response to the office in regards to my warranty claim, i have issues that were supposed to be fixed PRIOR to closing that were not. Neither sandy OR Malek OR tony(contractor) has responded to my emails or phone calls for an update. If this survey goes anywhere i would like for some help in getting an update on my warranty claim.
The buying process was really stressful. We were left on a cliffhanger a bunch of times. The communication was on and off. It was just really stressful.
Starlight was a wonderful experience for my husband and I as first time home buyers. Everyone we talked with during the process was helpful and ready to explain or clarify what we needed. I would highly recommend Starlight homes to anyone looking for a new home!
Only likely to recommend due to Quinton's work ethic.
I am quite pleased with my experience with Starlight Homes, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Starlight to a friend.
The area and the price is great, given that this was an inventory home I’m happy with my purchase . Just a few things that I would recommend as a buyer and a realtor , ALWAYS get a third party inspector before moving in to an inventory home or to be built , they have the tools and knowledge to check for whatever you may miss . I was in a bit of a rush to move in because my lease was ending so I couldn’t do everything I preach my clients to do before buying . Attention to detail is everything.
The experience from the buying process to moving was very efficient an clear.
Getting the house wasn't the headache, the problem was the construction features and everything else. Everything was cut and dry and was all good, but the experience could have been a lot better, and they could have been more thorough. For example, the doorbell didn't ring, and they had to cut two holes in the wall to fix it.
Malek was really helpful and walked me through the process, which is why I chose Star Light Homes.
Overall the purchase process was easy but after moving into the home the build quality wasn't what I expected for a new home.
Nice home, but very rushed to purchase
Only because of the construction manager, otherwise we would not
The process was quick and easy.
Trevor is the best very timely professional got things done on time always had a follow up or an update on what was going on and kept me in the loop so I definitely would recommend it to a friend
I would definetely recommend starlight homes, I’m am really happy with the purchase of my new home
Everything was great up until after closing, for putting claims and respond time.
I had a pretty good experience with Starlight homes. However, I do have one primary concern about mortar cracks near the front door of my home. This was mentioned in my inspection report but the builder said I'd have to take care of it on my own. I would have appreciated if these cracks could have been taken care of prior to closing.
The entire team that I interacted with at Starlight was absolutely great and accommodating. I moved in from NY down to TX and they helped in so many ways to ensure my family and I can get into the home and have confidence in my first time home purchase. David was an amazing representation of purchasing this home. As for Grant, the superintendent, he was such a pleasure to have on my home purchasing team. He was absolutely incredible and I genuinely appreciate his expertise, professionalism and courtesy. I really hope an investment in his future is sustained and that he continues to be a face of representation in the brand.
The quality of the house is poor.
Starlight Homes delivered moderate service.
I feel, overall, Starlight Homes did a great job in all areas of the whole process.
I felt rushed through the whole process. It was like they were trying to make a quick sale. I had to do multiple walkthroughs and follow-ups. Things weren't finished. They made it seem like if I didn't close, then I would lose the house. I haven't received closing documents like trade information and handbooks. I had to get them from neighbors instead of Starlight Homes directly. I was told by the Construction Manager that things would be corrected but they have not. Its been a major headache. They stated they would follow-up regarding issues prior to moving. I never received a phone call or email. They ghosted me.
This place exceeded our expectations so with that being said I recommend Starlight Homes. My cousin bought his a month later after we closed on ours.
There are a lot of things not working in the house. The electric system is not completely finished so we're going to have people making holes in the walls
no standard quality work during construction and sale agent in Hutto wood form is not on time response
I am extremely dissatisfied with how I was treated as a customer. When we moved in, they informed us that there was a government water restriction and that they would be unable to finish our lawn. However, a month later, they were installing the lawns at the surrounding neighbors' houses. Because our yard is muddy, disgusting, and depressing, we were unable to set up our Christmas decorations around our home. The quality of the work is good, but we have to keep getting things fixed. They keep fixing things at the neighbors' houses but haven't fixed our problems because the other houses haven't closed yet. However, we have closed on our home, and there is nothing we can do about it. Unfortunately, if there is no difference, we will have to take other action because it is really frustrating that we can't celebrate Christmas in your home. We are first-time home buyers, and our experience was so bad.
My first sales rep was incredible! I would work with Malek again in a heart beat. He was moved to a different community mid-purchase and communication fell off with whomever took over. It also seems some things were overlooked in the closing process. I’m having to deep clean my house after moving in. Paint and plaster in the floors, damaged trim that was pointed out to replace in the walkthroughs was caulked instead.
It was great to start with, but no follow up after the sale. Cannot get in touch with anyone.
I would recommend Starlight to anyone I come across. I was well taken care of and was in the loop about every little thing concerning my home.
Some small things are missing in the home like the tissue holder in the bathroom and the way the home was completed I had to request for them to come out and fix those things. But that's all the issues I had.
The experience starting out was wondering. The in house lender was very responsive and met our needs. The sales person was informative when we were able to get a hold of him. However now that I am In the home it’s more of a struggle to get a hold of anyone to resolve issues
Easy And manageable home no complications to start up your home and make it yours
Starlight Homes gives excellent customer service.
They were really good. They were fast, efficient and kind.
Love the home and the neighborhood
The home is very cost efficient.
My sales and lending experiences were great, the state of the house upon moving in and the difficulty and length of time to remedy some of those problems has left a strong negative impact. There are also some items that were not in the house such as toilet paper holders that I believe are entirely necessary and it feels incredibly cheap to leave them out, despite the large amount of money I spent on the house.
If they treated their employees better with compensation, I think my experience would have gone smoother. The gentleman that was helping us ended up quitting.
Overall working with Starlight homes was great!
Our sales representative Malek Was just amazing! He always made sure to answer any questions and was always quick to respond.
The Construction Manager Jace is very knowledgeable and quick to respond to questions or concerns.
These homes have high ceilings and feel more open than homes built by other companies. They also seem to be made of better quality material.
The only negative is that our house seemed a little rushed and we missed a few minor things before moving in. However, we worked with Malek, Jace, and the warranty company to get everything resolved as quickly as possible.
Hailey was nothing short of amazing!
The Starlight team is very professional. I enjoyed working with Malek, Vanessa and Quinton. Always there to help, every step of the process.
If you are looking for a cheap home, then consider going with Starlight Homes. If you are looking for a structure with integrity and a builder that pays attention to customer satisfaction, you should look else where.
I have never bought a house before so I don’t have a lot to compare this experience to, but it is was kind of stressful and especially with moving timelines I didn’t really feel like I had a high confidence in the process or timeline until I had already moved in.
Great first home and simple process
Happy with my home that i purchased. They are all helpful to me.
Everything started good, until things began to seem rushed and sales seemed to bully regarding time of closing over the quality of product/build of my home. I actually started to feel bad for the builders, as it seemed that everything became rushed and they were at the forefront for us to see, while sells hid in the background and behind $500 a day late closing fees, even if the house wasn't whole...
It has been a little over a month since we've moved into our Starlight Home in Hymeadow and; We absolute love it!
Starlight was able to get us into a brand new home in one of the toughest markets in the country within 3 months at below market value. Enough said.
